For the same reason I don't always bet in the international games. The plan was to wait for a better odd then place a bet but England was too quick to score LOL
I got one successful bet this international break out of 2 slips but it was just 2.02 odds. There are very few matches I have some knowledge about meaning less possible picks, but a 50% return is not much better than what I get on club matches. I think we just enjoy it better when we are following the matches, betting on our favorite teams and rivals and fully involved in the results. With the international matches I check most of the results after the match and see a couple of highlights at best. Just a few more days to wait for club football and it returns with UCL as a gift. - Jay -

Answers submitted, did not have a clue about the esports question, just did a quick research and went with my guts which has been wrong a lot of times recently.
I will be stepping out of LMS for real this time, good luck to everyone still in it.

Congratulations, you just made the Bitcoin network a tad more decentralized and made yourself even more private. Granted I'm still using a CEX so the anonymity benefits of running a node are mute...
You still get some privacy benefits and you are not storing on a CEX but on a coldcard, so your security is not reduced. - Jay -

Could this be planned by the CEO? I do not think a CEO can do something like this. He has reported the case and it is under investigation.
Anyone is capable of anything, but without access to the investigation files there is no point speculating on what the facts are till some information gets public. Another reminder that a $5 wrench attack is one of the quickest ways one can lose their funds. Some public figures cannot help people knowing they are into certain investments, but if you are not such individuals then keep your investments to yourself. If people start collecting ransom in bitcoin like they are already doing, it will be difficult to completely fight crime because it will take long time to trace bitcoin transactions.
It is a public network so it is easy to trace, but there can be no identity put on the addresses until they use an exchange that has their personal information. Cash is impossible to trace. - Jay -

This has always been a real threat. Access to media files is one of the common permissions people allow and with so many phishing apps and the threat of legitimate apps getting their data stolen, seed phrase and other sensitive material should never be be saved to the gallery.
There is also the threat that someone can easily find them when scrolling on you phone creating too many points of failure. Do not save sensitive material electronically no matter the convenience they offer.

Nope, the Cup rewards are in the OP. We linked the rules during S01 and yeah - might recheck some of the linked content to make sure it's up to date.
Alright, I just went with the first piece of info I could find after searching the word 'cup' on the thread;s first page. You'll get the hang of it, it's similar to the regular round - it's just shorter with less room for error.
Let's get it done ulven - Jay -

... Your country is not on the list of restricted countries nor on the grey list when I checked. There is a possibility that you could have access to the casino after-all as they say they are working on granting more countries access. Are there casinos you have been able to use without VPN? - Jay -

Cup questions are coming later today, let's see which 16 reams will survive the first brutal Cup week.
Curious to see how this works out, I am especially excited for the Arsenal kits. Is that available for this season or was only for the debut season? If my calculations are right, I think I managed to pick up a draw this round, not a bad week altogether. I was also impressed with the performance of some Arsenal players on international duty, good to see Jurrien Timber get some minutes for Netherlands. They all need to return sharp for the resumption of club football. - Jay -

Again, I have had Bitcoin-related topics that turned into partisan political discussions move to P&S. Why is this thread an exception? In fact, I created a thread specifically defending Gary Gensler, and it was... move to P&S. It sure looks like there's selective moderation going on here...
You are probably referring to this thread [1]. I remember it cause I commented on it. That thread was majorly about politics, more so than the thread you linked in your Op. This is not an indication of selective moderation neither is there any motivation for such. Two threads can be loosely related to the same topics but still dissimilar in many ways. Moderators read situations based on their understanding of the rules and use that as a guide for their actions. [1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5507130.msg64462180#msg64462180- Jay -

I do not agree with the topic title, the thread is not 100% political or partisan. There is a lot of crypto related discussions in it and the main objective of the thread was crypto related too. 2. It is self-moderated, and the moderator systematically removes any post that criticizes Trump in any way, or defends the Biden administration in any way, etc. The OP is clearly interested only in creating a pro-Trump political campaign thread, not a discussion of Bitcoin news.
How someone self moderates their thread is not moderated. There are no rules to self-moderation. In self-moderated threads, replies belong to the OP. In other threads, replies belong to the respondents individually. Think carefully about whether you want to reply to a self-moderated topic, as your post may not be given due respect.

It is safe to say their EURO form has not improved at all Was not safe to say at all. Italy have been the better side since going down and totally deserve to be level and maybe should be ahead already. I now need France to take the lead and win to give me one point and Mbappe to get on the score sheet to get me going in the H2H question - Jay -

Well that was quick from France and terrible from Italy, It is safe to say their EURO form has not improved at all and that of France looks to have improved.
Fine finish from Barcola in 13 seconds, for a team that was know for years for their defensive strength, Italy has shown to be very poor in that department lately.

Portugal were favorites to win Croatia but not by that much making it a very risky bet. I hardly handicap African qualifiers, the number of goals scored in each match is averagely low making it unlikely even for the favorites, that was a real lucky pick for you.
Spain was the most unexpected on of all, highly expected to make light work of Serbia.
This is not bad luck, just a lost bet.

Meanwhile Serbia is still holding Spain. Im actually convinced that they could hold Spain like this for another 40 minutes for the draw
On one hand I want Serbia to hold on for a draw so I can get my first point with question 2 as Portugal are still in the lead. But I also have a betslip and need Spain to win. Best case scenario for me is a Spain victory and an equalizer from Croatia to still give me my first point. It is way to early to go 2 points down. If I am to pick one, I will much rather get the point.
2 red cards for Switzerland, what is going on in that match? - Jay -

It's fall to grey area, so this topic worth to discuss. If free bet in Bitcoin do count as "real Bitcoin", I think we would see a campaign that paid in free bet. Not freebet but some campaigns in the past pay to the casino account of the participants and wallows you withdraw from there and incur the fees or try your luck gambling to get a higher amount. I think as far as the payment is made in BTC, either as a freebet or as a deposit to their account which they can withdraw it still falls under a bitcoin prize. - Jay -

That's not really how the system supposed to work, it should be actually based on how accurate someone's feedbacks and when you feel it's right or agree with their decisions then you may have to add them on your trust list.
This is more accurate and how the system should work. Someone who has good judgment to be added to my trust list should be fairly trustworthy, but someone can be trustworthy without having good judgement. It is all unnecessary cause no one should be actively trying to build reputation. If you are offering a service and want to show you are trustworthy that is fine, but trying to get good feed-backs by taking out loans or engaging in other activities to farm trust is wrong. Simple and straight answer, if you want to be a DT2 member, then someone with status DT1 should have added you in their trust list.
That is the simple answer, there is a more complicated one that the user should not be excluded by other DT1 members. - Jay -

Another interesting game in this round is France vs Italy. Curious to see whether something changes with italians as they were shit this summer.
France were also poor in the summer. They got to the semi final against Italy that dropped in EURO group stage, but their overall performance was poor winning only one match all through the competition (in regular time). They will be looking to bounce back and show they are strong contenders for the next World Cup. I think France squeezes out a narrow victory. - Jay -

It is human nature to disobey and break rules and just like you see in this forum where plagiarism is heavily frowned against and there are numerous warning about it, there are people still who do it thinking that they will not get caught.
This is the reality. Some may argue that those who commit plagiarism are account farmers with multiple accounts they can replace one with should it be banned, but people also risk their freedom irl by committing crime, risk their entire savings by gambling on it and we are not yet at the top 100 ill-advised things people do. We cannot know the intentions of people and why players will risk their career to gamble, one things is sure, it does not happen often in top leagues. Those in lower leagues are not paid much and do not have much of a career so the monetary reward is enough to convince them to take the risk. Some are gambling addicts and cannot resist the adrenaline rush they get from staking on games. - Jay -
