181  Economy / Trading Discussion / What is perpetual/futures trading exactly? on: December 05, 2023, 04:07:05 AM
I know in perpetual contracts we try to predict the future price of bitcoin without any expiry date. and future price of bitcoin is decided by future spot price.
where institutions with huge capital try to move bitcoin spot price in their favor.

my question is:
Is I understood it right?
why Bitcoin perpetual have higher volume then spot?
do institution with huge capital try to move the spot price of bitcoin in their favor? to get high profit from perpetual.
do they divide their capital in two?, one for spot trading to move the price and one for futures trading to maximize their capital by leverage?
Do derivative/perpetual volume impact the bitcoin price in spot?
Do liquidation in perpetual impact price of bitcoin in perpetual and spot?

Please try to give answer of all questions if you know.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: December 04, 2023, 06:20:45 PM
If you are telling that you will buy bitcoin comic book and give to children then it's not very good idea.
Because they are little kids they will become greedy for money, and they may try to earn bitcoin which will distract them from studying.
if you want to do this to give them financial knowledge then try other ideas like giving low pocket money so they will spend it wisely and spend where it is important.
they are so young like from age 7 to 11, in this age I didn't even learned to read english properly (atleast in my case) you want to introduce them with highly risky asset it's not a wise decision in my view.
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trust wallet KYC verification Phishing mail. Beware! on: December 02, 2023, 05:34:14 PM
Thank you OP for letting us know this type of scamming technic, scammers are too creative to scam people.
The email is very convincing for any newbie to click the link and enter personal details or fall as a victim to a phishing attack, I signed up on too many crypto related sites but never received emails like that
but now I will keep in mind about this because I click links in hurry by seeing the name of reputed company.
If I were 3 years ago me when i was newbie then surely I would have clicked that link or fall as victim of this scam.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 02, 2023, 07:45:17 AM
I have one more example for it. Like we do internship for any job we don't have much experience. so basically we invest time to get experience it an another kind of investment.
here we don't get paid in money but in experience this experience will get the intern better higher income in future which is possible by gaining some experience in work.
If someone is investor and do not have ideas to where to invest his money safely with good returns because of which he is stuck into low return investment or no return investment.
in this case a simple idea for new investment can get him better higher returns. first idea/knowledge is important before any type of investment.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: December 02, 2023, 07:24:08 AM
Thank you for this post!
It made me realize that there are many things I am ignoring. I am good at some stuff, but there more other things I am not paying much attention to.
Even though I usually try to learn and grow and belong to growth mindset individual, but it's sometimes become tough to notice when I am stuck in my comfort zone.
But hanging out there for long time isn't good for long term success.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: December 02, 2023, 05:21:58 AM
Successfully inventing a job is very beneficial financially but comes with huge risk of losing all you have or all you have invested in it. it requires capital investment, time investment, handwork, stress, etc.
it's not quick earning way, instead working at a good company and building trust is Benefield for that company and their employee.
also not everyone can start a successful business it requires skill and experience.
187  Economy / Services / Re: Jack's Club Exclusive Bitcointalk Review Campaign on: December 01, 2023, 05:23:18 PM
Here's my review:

1. it was easy to make account for any beginner/newbie, I liked the nice little images of games they are well designed and very good to see and navigate any game quickly.

2. There are many bonuses and contest are available, I like the free battle contest, also there is reload, rackback, faucet are available which attracts many new players.
3. Very few crypto currencies are available to deposit, there are more crypto to add which I need I don't know the changes will be made because of my feedback by I play with shib because it have very low value.
4. I couldn't locate the live support chat option, which is essential for answering user's queries.
5. There huge collection of different kind of games, I like those in house games most.

190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: November 30, 2023, 05:04:16 AM
mostly middle class people gamble because they are not financially free or want to earn fast and come out of that middle class life, gambling gives hope to make big money.
some people who started gambling without knowing that everyone will lose money, after playing for some times they realize it's hard to earn anything from gambling but after knowing that they don't stop to gamble.
and most rich people already know they gambling is a game of chance we can lose everything in it so they gamble responsibly that's why or how they got rich.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 06:04:29 PM
big wins like OP shared is good for the winner who won luckily these much amount, but it can be terrible for people who are started betting because of greed or people who just used to bet small amount but after watching this kind of posts they may start betting huge and taking more risk which they cannot afford to lose, and also start to bet on parlays without knowing that much better about that sports.
this kind of incidents happens very rarely with few of the players, also the saying is misleading like who cannot be a millionaire by betting on sports it will cause other people to bet on sports to become millionaire and take high risk.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: November 29, 2023, 05:51:23 PM
I have to update my view on this, as i used to love slots, i just was just losing way too much that it would have kept my interest. The bright colors and the music is somehow calming and exciting at the same time, but only jackpots from time to time make it interesting. And i wasn't getting those for a long time so i am having a break and moved to sports betting. I guess that's interesting too when i watch it real time, but not as relaxing as slots.
I might move back to them sooner or later when i get bored on sports again.

Those nice animations make slots fun to play and those big win or scatter keep you hooked on the game for long time and lose gradually,
it's so easy to lose on slots because time to time the player gets big wins because of this the player doesn't even realize easily that the funds are down by 50%.

I was just started learning about sports but don't have that much interest in it.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 29, 2023, 05:43:52 PM
if the older people in a same house talk about sports(not gambling) is normal they will just talk about what player how well played they very less often talk about I betted this much amount on that tea, etc.
and I don't think the younger generation or anyone will care about sports if he/she personally don't like sports,
but if the younger person like that sport and know a lot about that game and players then may be he/she also starts to bet on sports.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: November 29, 2023, 12:15:51 PM
I have seen peoples faces who are addicted to gambling they are surrounded by many mental illnesses/disorders their face also seem very scary not scary but like they are stressed for a long time.
any addiction is bad in my opinion, but gambling is very very harmful to person who gamble for recovering his pass losses or simply he is addicted to gambling they addictions is bad for gamblers family members,
gambling addiction can be effectively treated when individuals receive strong support from their family.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 29, 2023, 12:06:36 PM
I don't know from where you found that data of rich win more than poor in gambling.
the odds are same for both, I will say what I think about this, rich wins more often because they have lot of ways and investments from where they can recover their losses quickly.
but poor or people who earn daily and very rarely they are able to save a little amount from that earning, they don't have a easy way or quick way to recover their losses.
it all comes to emotions because rich have source of income from various way so they have less emotional pressure of being broke, but if a person who earn daily and doesn't able to save from that too will risk it all more often and because of it he will lose more often then a rich person who doesn't play emotionally.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Request to learn gambling on: November 29, 2023, 12:01:16 PM
I will not advice anyone for who I care about or anyone person to gamble to earn some extra income, it's a terrible financial advice.
first if we just tell a random person who doesn't surf internet much, to gamble for earning he will tell it's not possible because many people learn this kind of tips and advices through internet and social media.
I have seen youtubers who run their channel by giving advice and tricks to win at gambling and earn easy income,  I have seen instagram ads where people are selling their service or telegram membership to how to gamble for earning, or selling signals for what will come next of roulette wheel LOL. and also many people fall for these scams.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: November 29, 2023, 11:50:51 AM
Thanks OP for your advice it will be really helpful for newbies or beginners who entered into gambling.
unfortunately I was also came into gambling by seeing those big bonuses by casinos, and with requirements to withdraw which was impossible to complete.
some more tips I will provide always play on few reputable casinos, do KYC first, read terms and conditions first, most of the time accounts get banned because we  don't follow terms and conditions.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer wins seem too good on: November 29, 2023, 11:35:28 AM
Streaming is one of the ways casinos promote their businesses just like any other business and yea! Most of these streamers are actually being paid by these casinos. They play very 'magical' games and go home with very huge wins , thereby convincing the gullible public into playing these games with the hope to win too of which luck doesn't always shine on the public just like it shines on the streamers' sides.

I many times think that why streamers win more often then us if the game is random and provably fair.
there is something we/I don't know about these games are manipulable? I have seen many times when i play dice after winning something the die always go to opposite side causing me to lose.
because of these I will not gamble anymore and if wanted too then will play with so little amount.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: November 29, 2023, 11:29:11 AM
I believe that I can be profitable in gambling which is why I Gamble. I have also gone the extra length to watch tons of YouTube videos on gambling by most gambling professionals. I am looking to develop or improve on my gambling strategies. I would want to learn  if there are new skills, tips and tricks that can help me to be better gambler. I have even considered buying their courses but that is a future plan . It is my optimism that keeps me going.

make sure that I have seen many youtubers and instgramers promoting their courses or support service from gambling platforms by sharing their affiliate links.
also I think their is nothing like courses for gambling, gambling is easy their is no learning for just predicting and placing chips the learning thing is to control ourself while winning and losing which cannot be learned by taking courses, and if they are selling some kind strategies then stay away from them there is not strategy to win in gambling, just keeping patience and discipline is key here. also I will say to everyone that do not play with money you need.
