From a personal point of view I'd rather we didn't bother trying to get on other exchanges, why try to pump the price? This isn't a coin for day traders!!!!
Ideally all the day traders can go pump n dump other coins but not MIN, I'd rather this take months and 've done right than hurried along.
Sorry if that upsets anyone especially the guy that sold his hardware to buy in high, but the thread has been here for all to see and you can very quickly see this coin has a plan, the dev wants to build something good, not slap together a load of code and profit quick. By doing your research as anyone should before investing it was obvious this coin and dev are in it for the long termand that's what makes this so unique.
So let's offer the dev any support they need and not hassle him to meet deadlines and make pointless announcements just to pump the price, natural growth will attract the serious investors and scare the whales, noobs and day traders away.
Keep up the good work MIN team and anything you may need the community to support you with just ask! .......and on another note the community here should all give yourselves a pat on the back for being one of the only ones on bitcoin talk to keep the thread happy, positive, friendly and above all fud repellent!! Wether you realize it or not day traders will give it volume and attention. All actions are a dichotomy revealing in the least two outcomes. Day traders = p&d, well that can work both ways. Day traders - like myself have to make money. It's in my best interest to make sure this coin is successful, therefor I will be successful. Day traders are like microloans. When the nuclear fallout has cleared we rush in to add stability and marketing. What's more common right now on forums and troll boxes than a bag holder suggesting a "buy"? Nothing in my eyes. It reminds me of the quote by Shakespeare (not verbatim, not even sure it was him) - "For everyman will come onto the stage and play his role". There is, will never be a successful coin without day traders. Either expecting large capital injections or any at all requires a source, and bigger investors like fish need to find the smaller ones. If you're new to investing have a look at markets around the world that don't have day trading like China. They also outlaw shorts - so essentially they are pumpx2 and dump x10 because since you can't hedge against stocks they just bomb them to buy them back for pennies, and the effect it has on stability is legendary. We all have our roles. I like things to be clearly defined. I could be wrong in my opinions. But I think just like when coins try to exclude a type of hardware they are limiting themselves. Look at vertcoin for instance. It went no where and will go no where - it's premise is literally built on economic exclusivity. (You have hardware A., and this is only for B. and C.) |

I personnally already withdrew all my coins from mintpal.
I can't trust their services anymore, im sticking with bittrex and poloniex.
Same thing can happen to bittrex, poloniex already have hack attack in february, they claim they refunded all stolen coins, this is a big test for mintpal, if they dont refund all coins it is the end for them. They should off invested more money in security, they already have insane income with more than 1000btc daily volume. I don't know about bittrex, but polo DID pay back 83% from the last I checked so I will vouch for them. I understand the risks but we need to trade at the places that provide stability. There is no guarantees in this game. Just keep your coins in a wallet unless trading them, better to pay for transfer frees than for to pay portions of your account. I will add this is a bit better, but such is the game of risk and reward. I wouldn't have it any other way. Even with all this mess I think anyone would make more money doing this than investing in the stock market. Now, that with all the laws and regulatory institutions is about as pump and dump as it gets. Even the best companies stocks are generally worthless over a touch of bad news. There is no stability there like what we have. It's weird, but I love it. |

Get on bittrex if you're looking to get out at 34k-35k this morning. I don't see a dip coming till this weeked so hold the btc to buy in lower. I sold all my other coins I'm 100% in minerals now. which isn't smart but I'm tired of playing whack a mole.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend cryptsy either. Honestly the only exchanges I use now are bitrex, polo, bter - crypsty lags, and I never trusted mp for some reason. btw if anyone still have money on mp, would recommend withdraw all something strange happening  I don't keep money on the exchanges, I only buy POS coins now and stake them unless I'm going to sell. I have been burnt more than I would like to say. |

Curently we're somewhat unable to take action for increasing the trade volume of DIGIT. In the age when more and more coins pop up every day not many people are willing to play the longer game and invest into stability, into something that doesn't live as long as a butterfly. The one thing we could do is to give up and schedule the cut-off of Proof of Work blocks. This is likely to create a small value and volume increase, if combined with something like a new wallet for example. We are also planning on switching to Proof of Stake protocol V2, which will motivate more on holding wallets online and staking. So I have a few suggestions for the stream page design - no offense it looks like a network 404 or a cable companies page. Not bad it just doesn't look significant.
First things first split the page into three pieces, (not literally, but as if there was 3 vertical separations )2nd. Stream betting should be Streamed Betting, or Bet While Streaming - you don't want people to think of steam. Red doesn't look good make it blue.(Tabs can be red, but it doesn't work with the theme) Put the title in the middle of the top and the tabs on the left side descending/ascending. If I have too I will make a MSpaint representation. Maybe you guys are not done and I don't realize it.
I don't do webpage design, I actually do tile/flooring (in school for biology/EE) in real life so feel free to skip all of what I have said suppose it's not of any consequence.
Thank you for the advice - you are absolutley right. We have several "divisions" in our team (I know it sounds too loud but still) - every idea goes through several iterations: 1. We speak and discuss 2. We draw few sketches and preliminary designs 3. We divide idea into tasks 4. We Write specification for coders for each task and hand it over 5. We internally test each task upon compleation 6. We fill bug report and hand it over back to coders 7. We call for community test 8. We again fill bug report and hand it over back to coders 9. We done with functionality and hand it over to the web designer to paint shit up  Now we are at step 5-6 with the most of our ideas. Hopefuly next week we get on to step 7-8-9. Basically - what I`m doing right now is finding for you a good reason why our web design looks like crap so far and it`s because we sometimes do not have a slightest idea of what will be added/changed tomorrow Well you asked us the other day to look over this stuff and I didn't get to it until last night. But I figured it was still a work in progress. Don't feel in anyway this is criticism, but merely one mans opinion. I know my role in this and so if I ever see anything that could possibly be changed I will say it. You guys have to be the most responsive dev team I have ever seen. Thanks as always. I can't wait!!! We value every oppinion and look at every advice or suggestion. I believe this is the only way to get something new and unique good. And I don`t see anything wrong in constructive criticism. So thank you and let me assure - all that you told us is on our radar! So my next suggestion -- *sigh*, we need more vespene. How can this be done. |

How much is the minimum volume for bittrex to keep the coin?
There are still 2 more exchanges for Digit, but its unfortunate that bittrex wants to cut it off.
I don't think it's a minimum volume I think it's to make sure the coin is still active so the devs have to talk to them. |

If Dev doesn't come up with something innovative, this coin will never be popular. Volume on exchanges is ridiculous  Looks like the coin will be delisted from Bittrex tomorrow unless something drastic happens. Big step backwards that  Yeah, how can this be prevented ? I'm not deeply invested in this coin, but if it's going to tank I would like to know. I think it has a future. But we'll see what the devs have to say. We're rooting for you guys. |

God I hate to sound like a broken record, but there is 4 1/2 btc as support on bittrex at 27/28 - not sure if everyone has enough, but it couldn't hurt to have more. They might not be pumping but they are certainly making a display from where I'm sitting. |

I must say this is a great time to be alive as an anarcho-capitalist/libertarian lol, I like that Well I didn't want to say anything political but to me it's hard for people to truly understand a free-market (and this is a wonderful, beautiful, genius application in all of it's unadulterated glory) becuase everything they know growing up is for the most part either subsidized, Wal-mart, military, medical, etc. Or over taxed, and they usually conflate that and monopolies with robber barons. And this market as of now is completely free (emphasis for now, not trying to be negative just realistic, I don't trust power, and especially not those wielding it for the "greater good"), and it's going to blow up, and if they only knew about it - they would regulate it to death, tax it, and or otherwise just kill it by "reigning it in/taking control of it". So after it blows up it's another free-market success in my eyes. Granted not all is well and there is scammers galore, but however if you read just 1% of what's out there you can save yourself a lot of time, and tears. But the biggest point of all is that it shows just how peaceful, and prosperous free people are, and can be. Too boot the generosity is unparalleled. Not sure if it's taboo, but the fact people get paid-back after events like the silk road is all people need to know. They forget if they bounce a check at Bank Of America for 1 cent they are charged 35$ which should be a crime, (not to arrest but to bring about shame) but in the least reveals how those people think about the "peasants" that bail them out when the SHTF. I always joke with my family - what if the FED is satoshi nakamoto and they basically convinved us to create this new economy. I actually did join reddits' subforum for another coin I will not name, and after about 2 days deleted my account after a debate about regulation. I think in order for groups to maintain integrity it means maintaining control of content. If I knew that a government agency was going to regulate this coins and require licensing, honestly I would probably just move on. We don't need a wall street 2, we need a free community that brings everyone around the world together. The fact all of this isn't tied to the dollar in my eyes makes it amazing as an inflation hedge like none other. In the spirit of this coin I might add - Starcraft II is a worldwide phenom, and it's got the attention of the 16-35 crowd. It gives people a chance to learn a little about economics, and about community. It's fun, and it could make you some money. It doesn't have a sordid history, and I just love minerals. The next best thing would be SPICE from DUNE. lol (don't take my idea I have it patented and will sue you into poverty j/k) |
