181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt is important on: November 20, 2023, 06:20:12 PM
I think for me, right now what is important are those altcoins that are not centralized because they will give lots of boost for the financial revolution that we are aiming for throughout this year. it's just sad that most people are not really excited to invest in those coins because they don't have as much support as other altcoins have. Right now we are in need of those altcoins because the governments and the banks are making some moves to make bitcoins under their total control by introducing laws one after another.

One thing is certain, their government can't control Bitcoin. This is not XRP they would want to know every move of the transactions. I mean that's what they signed up for but yes, they're a couple of good coins that are not centralised most of which are also listed on exchanges
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: November 20, 2023, 06:15:43 PM
I wanna know your favourite meme coins and why?

That is all.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

moon!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I am not predicting a possible moon for any meme coin at the moment, this is because the present market condition and other problems facing the blockchain fees systems may impede on meme coin possibility to make any significant increase.

I use to monitor dogecoin for a while now but at the moment the coin condition is far from a possible bull market and that is because of the current cryptocurrency market condition.

So investing in any meme coin can be of great risk to investors, and at that, I can't trust any of those coins.

Memecoin are known for their hype and when the hype comes is when they becomes functional. Just like this Doge. Again, how strong is the community and how well can they bring back the hype for users. Look at Bonk you would one what I'm talking about, now is Pyth
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Breaking the Internet Again! on: November 20, 2023, 05:17:23 PM
Has anyone come across the news about Solana's upcoming airdrop of Pyth happening today? Here, I made a post about why alts are important and mentioned Solana airdrops in the last paragraph
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474528.msg63178295#msg63178295

Alt are only important for the people that want it and the people tya are running after it, they die immediately people don't focus on it again especially when there is another hot alt in town. What happened to some of the best altcoins on Solana? Didn't they died before now, many liquidity have been drain and the chances of them coming back is zero. The people who bought it are all stuck and can't sell.

Quote
So now, I'm wondering if it will follow a similar path to what happened with BONK. Recall when the Solana community minted the memecoin Bonk, and many benefited from it. Now, Solana plans to airdrop Pyth to over 900 wallets, and various exchanges like Bitget, OKEx, Bybit, and few others are already listing it. I haven't seen any information about Binance listing it though.

I'm just curious, what do you think about this? Do you think Pyth will follow the same trend as Bonk, or will this hype only bring volatility that could potentially wipe out users' assets? Also, which mentioned exchange do you believe will efficiently list Pyth earlier than the rest?

I don't vibe airdrop, they are just impressing the chain and marketing the chain to people to buy the coin(Solana), the moment the event end, the will sell off the coin and airdrop tokens and investors will be left with nothing. Check Bonk, the market cap and the traded volume, you will see that airdrop tokens all have similar pattern, at first they get hype up and in the end they remain flacid like weak tissues.

Instead of buying Solana in anticipation of been selected, why not use the money to buy other coins, remember that their is going to be a lot of farmers that will use bot to get the tokens any how and the chance of you getting the token might even reduce when they use anti bots to weed out other people, be careful of airdrops my friend.

I understand you. But you should also know that airdrops has made and also break people. Ok, that of Uniswap, we all can tell how well it went and how people made money out of it.

I think the team giving the airdrop knows this and I feel this would make people want to be in the ecosystem because who knows what will happen next. Currently, the coins under the Sol chain are all doing well you might still want to check even bonk those who bought earlier before now are already in profit

Alts is all about making profit we should all know how to use it for our good

Solona is trending coin in market and its getting more attraction of the users. Initially Solona projects success and got hype due to NFTS but after bear market NFT market suddenly experience big fall.. Solona projects also failed and now once again Solona is looking very strong.

Pyth is looking strong and many people says that Pyth is stronger than Bonk project because Pyth is not a meme coin. it has real utility which will attract many investors. This project is also good for long term. I was expecting Binance to list this coins but looks like Binance is not taking interest in this coin.

There is another coin which will give airdrop to Solona users. you can check detail in this thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474280.msg63167416#msg63167416

Good to know, I guess Solana wants to rekindle the coin it used to be. Sol getting to $100k is inevitable if this airdrop keeps coming like this
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt is important on: November 20, 2023, 11:34:12 AM
Alt-coins has been important for cryptocurrency trading platform, mostly new list on the top exchange's like Binance normally pump and early investors make profits from it, that is the major reason why alt-coins are important.

I doubt that is the reason why alts are important though. You're  missing the point that these Cex are there so we could easily trade them. And again, Binance usually list most alts late giving others who bought in other exchanges leverage to arbitrage

GROK (Token) - GROK is a memecoin named after the artificial intelligence model GROK, developed by Elon Musk's company XAI. It currently enjoys significant hype on-chain. Despite recent instances of FUD, the project confidently burned tokens worth nearly US$3 million. Over the past two days, its price experienced a significant rebound, at one point surging by 60%, reaching a market cap of US$66 million.
-cut-
I can't find any grok token that had 66 million marketcap. But overall everything you said is just misleading data. Because valuating your burn 50% supply burn when you hold majority tokens doesn't mean anything. It's just least you can do. It doesn't cost to dev $3 million when liquidity is just enough to buy a happy meal with large fries.

I can make a token worth noobgrok and while holding 99% of the supply, i could burn millions dollars worth it, even if it had only only $100 in liquidity and trading volume of one dollar per day.

In short: that's a scam.

I've never been into altcoins, since I started my journey into cryptocurrency, it has always been bitcoin for me. Reading OP's hype of altcoins, was gradually getting my attention, because I like the way he was explaining the altcoin market current updates. Suddenly I scrolled down to your comments and now you have deflated my interest in considering giving a short at  altcoins again.

Guess I'm back to where I was , focusing only on bitcoin, with it's considerable risks, compared to how I hear altcoins, can just disappear and die, in the shortest time. Eventually I'll start my journey in altcoins, but it'll be a top altcoin, not any new hyped projects in the market.

From my findings I know that altcoins can be profitable in a short time, like bitcoin trading, only that it's like gambling, where there's chances of losing your investment too. The difference is that altcoins can disappear but bitcoin doesn't.

Im glad you did your findings yourself and I believe you would understand more about how to use these alts. Although I understand what the other user meant, let's not forget that we can do alot more on research before investing in any alt that's why I made mention of using an exchange in one of my earlier posts on how to navigate shitcoins, altcoins, meme coins and scam coins. Even as most people do call all alts a scam, there are real ones that do well like BGB which recently reached its ATH then you would see SOL, AGIX, INJ and many more

All I'm saying is keep doing your research you will find out more and how to use them well

188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto or Forex? on: November 18, 2023, 10:11:22 AM
Hello,
What are the Advantages and Disadvantages of the Crypto and Forex? Why should anyone choose Crypto over Forex?

Thank you.

Both are good but in crypto, you have different means of earning off trading. You could participate in different activities, get to earn from different coin listings if you know how to play the game well and then their products in different exchanges that elevate people to earn passively while they're off the market like using Smart portfolio bot to earn while you hold your coins in your portfolio, staking and using launchpads
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you overcome the hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie? on: November 18, 2023, 09:59:34 AM
Entering the world of Bitcoin trading can be both exciting and daunting, especially for newcomers. The volatile nature of cryptocurrency markets and the plethora of information available can sometimes overwhelm new traders.

Todays question i would share how we overcame these hurdles and gain confidence to trade as a Newbie?.

I have talked about using Dual Investment because it works like DCA but in an upgraded version. But using it mostly in times of volatility is usually the best. Or sometimes I just buy a good coin leave it for a long period then sell when it has appreciated to my greed level
190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must Read: Scams disguised as premium signal groups/channel on: November 18, 2023, 09:56:03 AM
Before I go any further I would like to clarify that no one can predict the market and I am going to shed some light to the modus operandi of those signal mafia as they add you to their group which is created to attract customers where you will find screenshots about how their signals has helped members to earn a lot of profit and even you can earn huge amount provided you join their premium channel:

Here are some basic questions we need to ask ourselves:
1. If they can help you earn so much profit they would already be ultra rich and wouldn't be spamming your inbox to join their paid group
2. Why don't they share the daily report or weekly to check their accuracy percentage
3. Why don't they make it free even on trail basis so that users can get a first hand experience and join

My observations after being a part of a paid and few free group who provide limited signal for free users and more for premium:

1. Let's say they make `6 predictions/signal a day and even if 5 signal fails they will still share screenshots about that one signal which was succesful and it's a simple maths lets say you have $100 and you divide that investment between 4 bets which the channel/group has to offer and you go for long/short based on the update by splitting $25 each and end up losing everything in 3 signals and gaining 200% (inflated number just to explain) from 1 signal they will take that screenshot and start marketing and use it as bait but you will only have $75 though you won 200% in one coin but lost in other three and maximum number os users will lose everything.

2. Why don't they make a report though it can be manipulated, still sharing a daily report or weekly report to define the profit and loss which members have incurred will help other to decide whether it's worth joining or not. But if they start sharing it, trust me no one will join looking at absolute numbers.

3. If they make it free trail then users will understand it's a trap and will not join the channel/group

4. They will have 4 stage for take profit and if it hits 1st target and liquidates while you are waiting for 4th target to be achieved still they advertise that you have got a profit of 1st target and vice versa

Conclusion:
Rather go for technical analysis nad learn to read indicators and back test the data you will be in a better position to trade rather than joining paid groups.

I'm not a fan of indicator but I grab what you're saying here OP. I always tell my friend that anyone who collects money to trade for someone is something to have a deep thought about. Fine! If you don't know how to trade why not the person try copy trading at least there you can share 10%10 of your profit with the elite trader who's trading for you. It is kind of different because you need the elite trader service unlike all these paid groups that will come to DMs and show what is not true
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there so much interest in popular cryptocurrencies? on: November 18, 2023, 08:12:20 AM
Why does the cryptocurrency world focus so much on highly capitalized projects, to the detriment of more promising and lesser-known ones?

Have you ever wanted to buy a product and all you could do is to go for a reputable one that have record of past consistencies and trust, such that have an effective organizational structure and realizable plan, you wouldn't want to see something below standard and have interest in using such, this is just a simple application of the various cryptocurrencies we have, some projects are good some are not, but when we research, we know which to go for.

What is more important to you in the world of cryptocurrencies - their prominence or their potential to make a real impact on the industry?

I will go with their prominence, because they have a good intention of past record activities progress, .not by what they say, but by what we can see in them.

You won't want to see something below standard! I like that statement and that's more reason we are always told to do research on these coins, check their road map and the type of community they keep.

This reminds me of SOL over and over again. After its massive fall from that FUD down to $8. Sol has a great community that supports it primed with the team, they keep building regardless of the situation. Now look at them trading well like there was never a problem and currently ready to give to its society by airdropping various wallets
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tricky situation for Altcoin investment on: November 18, 2023, 08:06:04 AM
I would just like to make everyone cautious about the current situation as it's a period which can make or break you based on your investment strategy. It's all about Altcoin investment and most of the newbie try their luck by investing into Altcoin whenever there are rumours of bull Run and the reason they prefer Altcoin over bitcoin is that they think Bitcoin is already priced higher and it would not get pumped multiple fold any further and they think Altcoin is price priced at single digit or double digit so they can grown thousand folds but that's not the case as it's a common mistake made by newbies as they just look at the market price instead of looking total supply of Bitcoin and Altcoin, they need to consider total supply of Altcoin and calculate it with the price they expect it to reach and think if it's even possible. I would suggest sticking to top Altcoin and Bitcoin.

Please share your opinions on common mistake newbie makes when market trends upward.

One common mistake I did earlier and I have to learn the hard way is buying a coin when it gets hyped up. I never knew that was the period I should have been selling. Again, not knowing that there different category of alts

But now, I shared differences in all these alts, how to navigate them and make use of opportunity when you see one

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins Fake? on: November 18, 2023, 07:55:54 AM
Alt-coins are not fake and many alt-coins has been successful into cryptocurrency market which is quick profitable business when you invest on the right alt-coins at the right entry point, even Bitcoin as the king of all alt-coins started one day to trade and many people that seen the opportunity and refused to invest at early stage are regret it by now. Hence, information is very important when you take action to Archived it.
Collecting information, conducting adequate research, and gaining the necessary experience enable any investor to determine whether or not the altcoin project in which they will invest their funds is fake. Carefully choosing an altcoin project is an investor's most crucial decision before investing capital. Not all altcoins are fake, as you clarified, and not all are scams. There are altcoins that have significantly succeeded due to their actual capabilities, the continuity of their operations, and the experience of their teams, managing to shine and secure positions in the top 100 altcoins in the market. However, the market is not devoid of fake and scam projects that fail to achieve their goals, primarily being new projects. Therefore, if a person cannot determine whether a new altcoin project is real or fake, they should rely on a long list of top and most reliable altcoins in the market.
Definitely, this we need to always put in mind while going for alts and how to make proper use of them. Nothing is risk-free, so we need to take proper caution of what alts we invest in. The example I mentioned above is how do well trading all these alts
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins Fake? on: November 18, 2023, 07:52:19 AM
One fascinating aspect of altcoins, especially the good ones, is the potential for significant profits. I'm aware that not everyone agrees with this, as there are often arguments that altcoins are just another form of 'shitcoin' meant to deceive and exploit people, with Bitcoin being the only legitimate cryptocurrency.
Of course there will be pros and cons related to these altcoins. Because, many people suffer big losses due to trading or investing in altcoins. However, it cannot be denied that there are also some people who can use altcoins to reap big profits. especially here regarding the altcoins that are currently hyped. They can lose big but on the other hand there are some people who can really take profits that high. Although I personally have never felt it

So, basically, these are also things that need to be paid attention to. Because after all, everyone's ability to analyze altcoins and the market is different. So if we are not yet capable of that, it would be better if we were more careful with altcoins rather than just prioritizing luck to get profits from altcoins. Regarding whether altcoins are fake or not, it's possible that some are fake or shit coins, in this case they are scams, there are lots of them. However, there are also real and legit ones, although the percentage seems to be smaller.

I just did a topic now about alts that relates to what you just said. Understanding the market and when to join the trend is the best way to really pave this alts ecosystem
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why alt is important on: November 18, 2023, 07:48:25 AM
So, from my last topic, I talked about alts even those that are for short term and how exchanges (like the one I mentioned Binance and Bitget) listing some alts could give you 60% and above chances in earning than getting rugged or getting a better chance to avoid shitcoins.
If you read below, you would understand this topic better and how talked about TIA as a reference and how well it did when it got listed.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5472568.msg63092909#msg63092909

Another alts that did well this week, if you check your CMC you see that most of them were listed and if you go over Twitter you see the happiness of those who did earlier or traded them earlier

SATS (Token) - Currently the most actively traded BRC-20 token, with a 24-hour on-chain trading volume of approximately US$5.2 million.

RATS (Token) - A BSC replica of the BRC-20 token, rats. Token trading began in the early hours of today and the contract shows no apparent risks. Its 24-hour trading volume reached US$29.3 million, with significant price fluctuations.

Some could be a meme coin By now we should all know what to do, Know the alts to trade for the short term, and long term and hold for the long term. We are here for Profits

BTC is always the king.

Hence I forget, one good Alts that has been doing well is SOL. They will be airdropping some wallets by next week. You can read more and make good use of this information

Hi all. How to buy more when growing? Today we are growing, but I don’t want to buy. Share your experience in this matter.

OP let me see if. Understand what you mean here.

Do you mean if you want to buy more when is already surging how you can do it or is it beneficial to do that..

Well, if is that what you meant then I did say yea. You can get a coin when Is already pumping even if you have bought it at the initial stage. That's when Dual Investment or DCA comes into play. But you should know when doing that, the coin you wish to buy shouldn't surge that much

For instance. Sol rose from 8$ to $28 right? You can buy the coin at $28 - $30 when you already have bought it when it was at $8 because you believed that Sol would rise above $40 in due time
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 11, 2023, 12:52:49 PM
In my experience whenever you see Litecoin pumping it means the top is in the crypto market. I noticed this a few years back.

I think the way it works is bitcoin tops and the money flows into alts like Litecoin, then Litecoin pumps and usually it tops and the whales get into stables or fiat and it’s the top of the cycle.

So you don’t want Litecoin Pumping right now.
Isn't what you described called the Altcoin season? When bitcoin finally hits the peak and everyone has finally taken their profit they go for altcoin to increase their profit by buying altcoins, isn't that how the altcoin season starts? I haven't been buying any altcoin in a long time, had my share of failures with bad altcoins that I just want to secure the long-term with bitcoin.

Sorry mate, I understand this feeling because every single of us have been there. This reminds me of the topic I talked about via this altcoin and how easily I get the ones that are favourably for me. I just hope this helps

Hello,
I read the following news:
https://coinmarketcap.com/community/articles/654d4f5e51dc7d34b7d45ea2/

Is now the right time to buy Ethereum?

Thank you.

I'd go straight to the point for you. The right time to buy any coin is not when is getting its hype. Rather, is best to get a token when is still neutral.

This means you want to FOMO and when you do that, you might end up buying the high and you will be the person getting liquidated in the long run.

Well for me, what I did when I saw this news was to set eth to the price range I will be selling it at with my dual investment because I know there will be much volatility

Let me just check how this sounds:

-I know a guy who has 12 billion in Bitcoins and plans to sell it
-Let me seek advice from complete strangers on a forum without even mentioning what country are we looking for as I doubt the conditions would be the same for Turkey or United States or Japan.
-Since you mention "buyers" do you really think your bank will not raise the mothers of all red flags parade when even a fraction of that sum will hit your personal account coming from strangers and foreign accounts?

Assuming you're not trolling which is pretty hard to consider, or looking to scam somebody with the same meet me in Dubai story, the answer would be pretty simple, the most trustable exchange that serves your country, and for that amount, every single exchange will do an OTC deal. But 392k BTC, Roll Eyes
It's clear enough OP don't know what he's saying. When there a good exchanges. Which I could name, Binance been the most popular and Bitget which operates in a good amount of regions even bybit. All supports P2P. He could make use of it

Hi what are the minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin in the safetrade exchange and in other exchanges? I wanted to start using the safetrade exchange but there is no info on minimum amounts...just wanted to deposit the minimum amount to start testing the exchange

This safe exchange is it a new one? Because this is the first I heard of it. Anyways, back to your question

The minimum amount to buy any coin on Bitget is $5 while that of Binance is $10
