Not with the competition  When both sides will benefit from financial gain, there is no competition. Even enemies can become friends when money is involved. Money talks. POLO is sick nowadays. It's better to use bittrex because polo is having way too much trouble 1st with server overload and now they are limiting the withdrawal. Ditto! Same here, sent waves from Bittrex to my waves lite app/ wallet. They showed up for a few minutes then they disappeared from my waves total and are greyed flashing in the "latest transaction" section. Block height not moving stuck at 484164?

Look's like the Trump election win is going to push BTC way up. Is this the start of the 1k run ? Price up 5% since election 735.00 now. Wonder how that will affect the price of Steem? I been thinking some of the downward pressure on Steemit is because of its high daily inflation rate? Will that clear up after the change ? only thing that influences steem price is the ratio to bitcoin. If you see a good part , who are blogger they buy hug cheap coin for power up ,there accounts for long terms . also get great value return too . If steemit token market survive for dead zone of hug inflation Steemit token get weak / no one take interest on steem dollar too hold or buy for profits Because steemit tokens don't have value like shitcoin . Seems like the bottom is being tested right now. 17-18 range. Last time it was here it held and bounced back into the 20 cent range. I missed it and started buying at 19 and still buying. I'm not sure will retrace to the lows because at .09 that would be an amazing deal in light of events. I also don't think you can short Steem either which helps keeping at this level imo.

You can't use the charts in this case. Major reversal is in play with underlying issues that cause the decline.
The fundamental reason that Steemit/Steem has took a beating is being corrected. Folks thought the inflation rate and steem power, steem dollars and lock periods were setup in a way to benefit the founders and not others evenly. They are making massive changes to all the above, if no issues are found in the new code. They are hard forking those changes into effect 9 days. That's the reason why it's up over 100+% the announcement was made in a blog about 1 day half ago. Not a lot of people are aware of this pending change yet. I expect steemit to continue back up as more people find out and get closer to the hardfork. Speculation thrown around is Steem back up to $1.00+ usd. Steemit IMO is being accumulated , I've seen other members say they will continue to buy up till the hardfork up to 50 cent level. The price predictions are opinions and speculation so take this info accordingly.
Dollar plus seems excessive, but I could envision it maybe tripling before the change based on FOMO. Of course, the change won't be as great for price as hopefuls would wish. The three-month power down means a lot more coins can hit the exchange, and the reduction in inflation means it makes a lot less sense to hold illiquid SP rather than liquid Steem. Three months power down, payouts still spread over 12 months. My thoughts are yes in the beginning there might be risk with others now powering down. Longer term will be much more successful because of it. If the price of Steem moves back into the dollar range, I would say anyone who was okay with a 2 year lockup all things considered will be happy to hold further speculating on a much higher sell price. Just for the record the founders agreed to a 3 month lockup period for their shares after the changes. |

You are right on the money. This is not a fud. Just a fact that the above comparison is a testament to how slow the dev is working. Let us state the facts... waves hold 30k btc from ico . stratis has merely 900 . waves ico price jumps just a 100% while stratis has already zoom to 600% from its ico price and their development and transparency are no match for waves. Stratis will support the popular C# for the development of their NBitcoin node and sidechains while waves uses scala (with limited support from a team that has huge funds for ICO). How disappointing it is I may say. LoL you are so full of BS! Dev ain't working slow, dev is checking, double checking, triple checking his code... Prefer this above that fast bug crap like ethereum. No sir, Sasha and team are doing everything right so far, love this team and their great waves project! No offense I like waves, but what proof do you have to back this up? I've been in since the signature campaign and participated. I'm just a little concerned to be honest about the constant next week then nothing. I wanted to do a secondary load up around 37.7k it almost got filled. I'm not going to chase it without some back up, been through too many PND. I think the bottom is somewhere around 38k. I will not sell my WAVES till it is in top 5 of coinmarketcap.
Checkout the list of top 15 coins on coinmarketcap. They all have been pumped at least once and they were in top 5 of list at least for one day.
Now compare the amount of funds raised by Sasha for Waves and all the other coins in top 15 coins. Doesn't Waves deserve to be in top 5 for at least a day if not longer??
I can afford to wait for a 3x to 5x return on my waves ICO. Those who cant afford and are happy with 1.3x profit, feel free to sell.

I was sooo tempted to load up more. I just keep remembering being here before several times regarding nodes. Although this was a pretty good pump. I almost went FOMO and did a secondary load up. one wave was around 27$cents, now its 29$cents. i guess there is still some room for going up as there is no profit to unload. every new entry is not without risk to lose. I agree and I don't wish anything negative here. However eyes open you know what can happen after a missed call. I just went through this with Factom M2 a few weeks ago. Waves will be fine either way definitely a bright future. |
