181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is this site legit? on: April 12, 2017, 11:23:04 PM

Hi. I was wondering if this site (http://build-a-co.in/) is legit, and if so, if it could be a good base for an altcoin, Ofcourse i am only interested in their source codes, not necessarily all those settings.

I was unable to find any reviews online, hence my post.

If not, would litecoin be a good base to start off from?

I don't think that you should use them.

Site looks quite mediocre, not good design at all. And no reviews means that there could be hidden risks.

If you are actually developing a long term project then maybe look to hire an actual developer instead of using the source code from them.
182  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who's using poloniex here? on: April 12, 2017, 11:20:52 PM

183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: April 12, 2017, 07:44:32 AM
hello ,,
i just want to invest my BTC with a good Altcoin for longterm investment,, with proof of stake system  Smiley
so i can staking my coin too
maybe 1 - 2 years from now,,
suggest me a good altcoins,,
thanks before

best regards
Scor Pio

I'd say either Ethereum or Monero.

These coins are good hedges against bitcoin price going down. Usually if bitcoin goes down, either Ethereum, Dash or Monero will go up dramatically in price which makes it a great way to diversify your portfolio.

Try to avoid shitcoins that are listed on sites like Yobit though.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Inspiration on: April 12, 2017, 05:52:36 AM
I'm very curious on what are on the mind of Gamblers during he is gambling. I want to know if a Gambler are thinking something/someone as an inspiration to win on gambling. Because gambling with purpose was the really way to have fun. I only list some few options because that was my inspirations i used on my past experience. You are free to suggest or share yours if it was not listed to the choices.  Cheesy

Well when I gamble I think of big big profits.

But usually, I end up losing.

What happens in your brain is actually your brain starts to produce dopamine, so it's sort of cheap drugs in a sense. The more you gamble, the more you develop a tolerance towards that drug, and the more you need to gamble to reach the same high again.
185  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit scammed his clients - no withdrawal - no support - no nothing on: April 12, 2017, 05:49:31 AM
Yeah the best thing to do right now is to simply stay away.

There is really nothing you can do to get their support responding to your messages even though you know they are online, as new coins are added every single day on Yobit(actually new shitcoins everyday, lol).

Yobit doesn't even have the most competitive fee schedule. Just use bittrex or polo instead.
186  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 21.5 BTC TAKEN BY SPORTSBET.IO on: April 12, 2017, 05:40:25 AM
It really isn't an excuse for them to not provide you with your cashout because you provided false information.

Sure, it was your problem, but i think it would be better for them to give you a warning and say that next time make sure you put the right info, instead of confiscating your deposit + winnings altogether. They should know that most people using their service WILL in fact use false information for anonymity. This is common in the crypto world, and them operating solely on bitcoin, should know.

This will make them look not as legit.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Possible To Use Only Bitcoin In Japan? on: April 11, 2017, 10:51:42 PM

Due to the official adoption of Bitcoin in Japan as a means of payment, the thousands merchants will accept the virtual currency this year. But what the actual facts are?  Whether you can easily pay for goods and services in Japan using Bitcoin?  This helped us to understand BitKan officials. BitKan marketing director Ruby Chen conducted a three-day experiment, which showed how in reality it was possible to use Bitcoin...

Read more here https://bit.news/eng/is-it-possible-to-use-only-bitcoin-in-japan/

Just because it is legal doesn't mean that you'll be able to make purchases all over Japan with just bitcoin.

BitKan has recently released a video of a woman using bitcoin in Japan, and the results aren't that good.

But I hope that the results will become better in the future years, because right now bitcoin is still young. It still needs time to develop even in a country like Japan that has recognised bitcoin as a legal currency.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can't avoid taxes by investing in bitcoin on: April 11, 2017, 10:50:19 PM
If you think investing in bitcoin or a similar “crypto-currency” may be a good method for hiding income from the tax man, you’d better think again.
http://nypost.com/2017/04/08/no-you-cant-avoid-taxes-by-investing-in-bitcoin/

I am smelling something good here with the news. If the government declared about how peoples can't avoid the taxes by investing in bitcoin, it means directly or indirectly government said that they recognize the existence of bitcoin and how it can be profitable to invest.

Yeah exactly, there is a choice here for the government to make.

To either acknowledge bitcoin as a functional currency that has the potential to overtake fiat, or to let it slide and nobody pays taxes on bitcoin holdings and profits they make out of that.

But either of these is favorable for the government.

Interesting case Smiley
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: April 11, 2017, 10:40:24 PM
You'll face a lot of criticism on this forum for this, me included.

I simply am not ready to believe that the method you have put here is going to beat the house edge, which you have admitted exists. Correct me if I am wrong, you rely on basically guessing when the reds are coming, right?

So for example if you hit 3 greens in a row, then the fourth has a lower chance of being a red, is that what you're assuming?
190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining on: April 11, 2017, 10:34:08 PM
Hello! Welcome to CryptoHub[/size]
Me and My team recently started working on a site, That Sell Hashing Power. We still haven't made the site official, but we will be done soon. We sell Hashing power with good rates! With no daily fee.
Here are the Cloud Mining Packages:

[/b]
SHA 256 Mining

100 gh/s  For 0.002 BTC
500 gh/s  For 0.008 BTC

MINING LASTS FOR 3 MONTHS!
We Will be offering Scrypt Mining and Longer Subscription time soon!
We were sick of fraud and scamming Cloud mining, so we though of making one ourself! But without scam and fraud.

Show us your mining farm because I highly doubt that any legitimate cloud mining site would announce their "plans" before they even finish up with their site and with such bad thread design.

Not to mention that their admin is a newbie on bitcointalk.

Stay away.

192  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay Bitcoin Debit card + Giveaway on: April 11, 2017, 10:24:50 PM
I'd like to get one of these cards and spend some USD by depositing BTC instantly Cheesy

Sick of all the waiting time on Localbitcoins, sellers are often unresponsive and rates aren't as good.

Please give me a promo code, thanks!
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Longest period of time with Bitcoin over $800 ever! on: April 10, 2017, 11:11:39 PM
Bitcoin was over $800 from 26th November 2013 to 6th December 2013. So 11 Days.
Now is over $800 from 21th December 2016 so 10 days. One more day and we will hit the longest streak with Bitcoin over $800.

Right now it is probably the longest period that bitcoin has stayed above $1000.

I mean it is just awesome to see bitcoin surviving all the ups and downs and pulling through to win in the end. It is awesome to see for both the bitcoin bagholders and the bitcoin believers.

But i expect a short term adjustment right now, i don't know if i'm right but it does seem like it might be happen. And if it does happen then it is a good idea to load up on cheap coins Grin
194  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: VirtualPub.io - Run your own pub/bar, serve drinks, earn bitcoin! on: April 10, 2017, 11:09:45 PM

www.VirtualPub.io is a bitcoin game where you can earn lots of bitcoin by running a bar!
10% referral commission (Paid on withdraws), 100s of players and much more!

This is great.

I remember the days of mybitmine.co, where I used to play the game everyday. Not for the profit but I just liked the idea of a faucet based game where you have the chance to invest in something and earn more.

Hopefully your site will survive in the long run.

BTW why do you need to ask the admin to change your Password? that doesn't sound logical...
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BIG HELP HERE PLEASE on: April 10, 2017, 11:07:57 PM
Some one can teach me how to TRADE ON POLONIEX

HOW TO KNOW IF IM GOING SHORT TRADE OR LONG TRADE

THEN HOW TO SET A TRADE ON MARGIN

PLEASE HELP ME IM WILLING TO LEARN HOW TO TRADE

THEN READ THE CHARDS

There isn't a magic method where you learn everything that the most experienced traders know in 1 day.

That is just ridiculous.

If anyone promises you that, and offers you altcoin tips(calls, not like helpful tips) then they are probably scamming you.

But usually, when you see something overinflate and it seems like it's in a bubble, like DASH and Ethereum were, then you can decide for yourself whether it is a good idea to short it or not. And if something seems to be bottoming and moving sideways, that is generally a good idea to go long on margin.
196  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in Annual investment on: April 10, 2017, 11:05:54 PM
%4 profit for yearly is realy low.

At least you are getting interest from a reputable member of the forum as well as a proven admin. Instead of investing in some dodgy ass bitcoin bank run by somebody in China that you have never heard of.

This is awesome if you are betting on bitcoin over the long run. I mean you get 4% stagnant doing nothing a year, on top of any profits that you would have made if you invested in the rise in bitcoin's price.

So don't complain too much, it is what it is, although poloniex and bitfinex lending will probably yield you a lot more.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 10, 2017, 11:03:55 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?

Honestly that doesn't sound like the best idea.

Simply because bitcoin is so volatile, and you never know where the price of 1 btc is headed at at any given moment. All you know is that bitcoin is going to go up in value in the long run, but in the short run it may crash.

I think diversifying your portfolio into other altcoins as well as fiat currencies won't hurt at all.

In fact, it'll probably benefit you.
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ Bitcoin Video Casino ★★★ - ||| Over 500 BTC in Progressive Jackpots! ||| on: April 09, 2017, 11:26:19 PM
Actually my opinion is that the games.bitcoin.com design looks like a much better version than the actual bitcoin video casino design, lol. You guys sold the script to them if I remember correctly, right?

You should probably switch to something like that, it's more aesthetically pleasing that way, at least imo haha.

Just my 2 sats Tongue
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: other alt-coins can i mine/collect online? on: April 09, 2017, 11:21:39 PM
The days of mining bitcoin are over, i wasn't even around when you could mine them,

But, i like these cryptocurrencies, i want to make coins using my computer, i don't want to buy them,

Currently the only coins i am making without having to buy them is sjcx, Storj, it works by renting out your hard drive, i get a certain amount of coins each month depending on how long i left my computer on. I already have 100 sjcx coins! They are not worth a lot, but maybe someday they will

I download the Ethereum wallet, but i found i can't earn their coins, i have to buy them, that's no fun,

What other coins can i earn? Anyone making any other cryptocurrencies online?

I don't want to purchase any other equipment, i just want to use my desktop to get coins

advice?

Try raiblocks. All you need to do is to solve captchas to get the reward but obviously don't expect hundreds of dollars by doing that. Just do it if you really want to try out a certain altcoin and want to get started.

You don't want to purchase equipment... Hmm, back in the days you could mine litecoin but now it's full of ASIC miners these days.

Only mining mrai you don't need anything and can do anywhere, even on your mobile phone.

Also you could promote ICOs by putting on their avatar or signature. That way you can get their coins as well.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 09, 2017, 11:17:18 PM
The site looks amazing, love it.

By the way, you planning on adding more pairs in the future? Right now it's only Yocoin and Yogold against bitcoin and USD, I wonder if you are planning on adding pairs like ETH against YOC and XMR against YOC etc.
