181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other ways of digital Marketing outside Bounties for cryptocurrencies. on: December 03, 2019, 04:32:40 PM
1.Coinmarketcap and similar websites.

2.ICO review sites.

But marketing is not alone going to make a project successful,it depends on lot of factors. First they need to build the community gradually because it will not happen over night.
182  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to protect yourself from social engineering hacks on: December 03, 2019, 10:11:02 AM
Social engineering is an innovative way hackers are able to take advantage of you. Here’s what you need to know in order to protect your personal data.

https://selfkey.org/social-engineering-hacks-101/

Social engineering plays off of your emotions, so it can be difficult to stop. Have you ever been a victim of one?
Control your greed if you want to avoid hacks and scams.

Maybe this article not related to cryptos but still useful for someone to keep their device safe.

But the reality is its not possible to have complete privacy when we have smartphones so be selective while installing apps only choose trusted ones.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South African Central Bank introduces new crypto regulations on: December 02, 2019, 03:16:43 PM
Greetings crypto enthusiasts globally  🌐. I saw an article on cointelegraph 🔗 https://cointelegraph.com/news/south-african-central-bank-to-reportedly-introduce-new-crypto-regulations/amp?__twitter_impression=true which brings the news that South African Central Bank has implemented new crypto regulations to their jurisdiction. It may interest you to know that South Africa has a good percentage of the total population holding crypto and LUNO exchange sprouted from that country.

In late November, FirstRand Bank, a large bank in South Africa was ordered to halt services to digital currency exchanges. The major reasons for this new regulations is for currency control purposes.

The big question is 🤔
Will these regulations be favorable to crypto holders or detrimental? And also most crypto enthusiasts keep saying regulations will come for sure, is this the kind of regulations we are expecting?

Regulations has pros and cons to the crypto users, foremost con of regulation will be lack of privacy anymore so people who want o evade tax will get shocked by the regulations but others may accept happily.Adoption also will occur if country tries to regulate the  crypto currencies. But why South African bank halted their service if their government tries to bring regulations?
184  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: November 29, 2019, 04:24:19 PM
I want to ask about this Mintdice gambling platform, here I am trying to register and already have an account on this Mintdice platform, just why when I first entered the game it felt heavy like loading and in my opinion it's not good. not like gambling platforms in general. is the mintdice team giving an explanation about this?

I felt the same thing when I started using mintdice then realize that it was due to their animation effects and especially sounds, try to do the same thing after disable sounds then you may feel slightly faster game experience.
Hello .  Please tell me, and if I use my referral link and attract new users to your resource, then what bonuses can I use due to such actions?  I apologize for the possibly stupid question, but I'm still just studying your resource.
I read somewhere that mintdice signature campaign participants are not allowed to use referral links so if you are a part of campaign you should not do this or you willingly to wear mintdice signature with your referral link then you have possibility to earn depends on their bet amount which house takes.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you stake? Exchange or wallet? on: November 29, 2019, 04:02:41 PM
Anywhere you have the private keys of your wallet will be a safe place to store your coins, but most of the centralized exchange offers bonus when you stake a coin which means you are not in control of your funds you just trust the exchange reputation which may goes wrong any time.Exchange hacks over years are the proof why staking in an exchange is riskier.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: November 29, 2019, 11:51:20 AM
When a crypto currency backed by assets in government then its just the replica of currency fiat money system there will be no transparency on how these things getting value. But they are considering cryptos that will be the only positive but what if they ban all the decentralized cryptos and made their own digital currency as only legality of payments? Will make decentralized future into a big question.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain-based Elections? on: November 29, 2019, 07:43:01 AM
With the advent of smart contracts, it's possible to create decentralized applications which allow people to vote on candidates of their choice. The censorship-resistant and decentralized nature of Blockchain technology, makes voting online practical like never before. After all, it's nearly impossible to rig results in Blockchain-based elections.

Now, it's up to worldwide governments to decide whenever they'll adopt Blockchain technology or not in order to improve the way we vote. Ethereum is the best public blockchain that would serve the bill nicely if governments adopt it for elections. So far, I haven't heard of a government announcing Blockchain-based elections within the mainstream world. If this becomes a reality, I guess that there would be no need to vote for candidates of our choice in a physical manner, as everything can be done online. In the US, it'd be amazing to vote for a presidential candidate using Blockchain technology. The possibilities here would be endless. But it seems, that the government doesn't trust Blockchain technology yet.

Do you think that in the future we'll be able to experience Blockchain-based elections more thoroughly? Or is it a bad idea? What are your thoughts? Huh
In the past also blockchain technology were introduced into election polling but not in the main stream, I guess they will never allow it in their main election not because they don't trust the blockchain technology they just can't manipulate the results by any means with implementation of this technology they may never able to take the position again.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 28, 2019, 04:38:52 PM
A friend from my street came by today to tell about a coin named LCC (Litecoin cash) and he told me he has already invested on the coin, i asked him what makes him invested in it, like what is the real use case of the coin and he have no straight answer, after a while i found out he invested in the coin because of what a analyst said about the project, are there people like this on here? after so many scams since 2018? i decide to do few diggings and i see that LCC is not that bad but my point is why invest on a project because someone said they are good?
If you invest on a project just because someone said that is a good project to invest means you have no idea about crypto projects and you are convinced by an analyst which is nothing but a shill of a project.Chances of the project will get successful is also there but don't invest if you are not convinced that is a good project to invest.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 28, 2019, 08:10:21 AM
The crypto market is decentralized, we live here as anonymous and free and we love it! But this KYC process is killing the anonymity of crypto! To invest in a good IEO you need to verify KYC, to do a good bounty project, you will have to go through KYC! But why? You guys are doing nothing with our KYC, then why you keep asking our identity? A selfie by holding my ID card, wtf! Did we ever ask you to verify your KYC when you launch a project/bounty?  Why you are not coming with another option where a freedom crypto member doesn't need to show his face?

Ok, guys, now my question to you, Have you any idea what can be good to replace the KYC method?
Crypto currencies were decentralized but market is not since it is filled with centralized services and platforms like exchanges, gambling sites, which were owned by someone. They are asking KYC for reasons like to avoid criminals from getting advantage of their project, laws of their jurisdiction made it as mandatory.I really don't think it is mandatory to know who are using cryptos when its decentralized so avoid those projects from investing.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: November 27, 2019, 05:15:24 PM
What is your take on the dwindling of the prices of cryptos? What do you think are the factors behind its fluctuation? What is your percentage (%) backing on crypto investments? How about your investment portfolio, is the return on your investments (ROI) encouraging? What is your advice to crypto investors now?
Let us discuss.
Price fluctuations are driven by emotions so its something can't be unpredictable as well as not constant but if the coins you are holding has potential then it has better chance to survive the price fluctuations in long run.So fill your portfolio with coins which are existing for years not with the new coins which you obtained for huge bonus.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are crypto casinos/dice houses not caring about multiple accounts. on: November 27, 2019, 11:15:37 AM
Actually many casinos are against the multiple accounts but if they don't have any bonus then probably they won't take any actions against the multiple IP logins. But you can't take this for granted you will start to face issues when you won decent amount of money and you can't do anything to bring back the funds since you violated their terms of service.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 27, 2019, 07:23:54 AM
the next next halving, is around 2023 or 2024

 Wink

The 2020 halving Bull  has come ran up and NOW is DEAD.
This dump into $6000 is solid proof.

So it is starting to look like Under $10k for several years to come.

My argument is that naturally invites BTC holders to play ALTs because BTC will be boring and bearish but mostly flat and sideways for +33 months.

Stable coins will stay there, shit coins might die.

You can't pump stable coins Wink
Not actually, the expected bull run of halving 2020 is yet to begin and is expected at later 2020 so you are bit too early to conclude the things. This years bullish trend was the result of long wait from holders but now somehow price able to climb at $7000.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are now in the “shitcoin” season? on: November 27, 2019, 05:17:34 AM
We are now in the “ALTCOIN” season.
Do you agree gals?

I DECLARE yes
We are now in the “shitcoin” season.

Why?

1. BTC has dumped.  The 2019 bull is dead.  The 2017 peak will be the ATH for a very long time, like until the next next halving, 2023.
2. Value has gotta move.  It's either shit "stable" $1 coins.  Or "shitcoins".
Bullish turned into bearish now but it doesn't mean bitcoin is going to be dead.Maybe shitcoins will die before the next bull run.

Next halving is at mid 2020 seems you missed a halving in middle.

Stable coins will stay there, shit coins might die.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychological Mistake of the Beginners Traders on: November 26, 2019, 05:08:49 PM
So most of the mistake's root cause will be lack of knowledge and self confidence about crypto trading. If they are not sure about something then they should try to learn the things more as possible before doing it in the real life.Get more experience by trying simulators by applying all the learning strategies lot of them offer free for certain amount of level which is more good enough to learn the things.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 26, 2019, 06:33:02 AM
Recently, I noticed that all the platforms are just like pausing launching new IEOs, If you notice top IEOs launcher platforms like Binance, Okex,Kucoin or Huobi, you will see a gap between 1-1.5 months. ICOs, then IEOs, then What next?
Less number of new crypto projects actually good for the investors, they will have less choices to pick and most of them would be legit. But its true that hype created was no more exist about initial exchange offering and they will get their profits back if we see bullish trend on prices and it may happen in 2020 later so until that we will be in such lower or slower crypto economy.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 26, 2019, 05:52:21 AM
Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.
Long term HODL may not gives most profits but you can't predict the exact peak price to sell and bottom most price to buy back so you might do your own assumptions and this is nothing but trading cryptos. It may leads to profits and losses due to unpredictability on prices so that is why long term suggested as smart option where we only need to buy and wait for the prices to spike up.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How exchanges treat the stolen Money? on: November 25, 2019, 02:35:00 PM
I am curious to know, how Exchanges treat the stolen money or hack money? Are they really aware of it? Just think, your fund has been hacked and transferred from your wallet to another wallet and then it's deposited to an exchange. If you claim to the exchange about the money, Are they not responsible for taking necessary action? What do you think?
You can't prove that you actually own that money,if you do then you made that transaction but whatever no exchange will treat any hacked money as something illegal to trade if there is no interference from governments. But if someone traded lot of money which was hacked then you may find the user if it was from KYC verified account but chances of happening is less.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next? on: November 22, 2019, 05:06:23 PM
Actually we are facing some real kind of dump which was never expected by majority of investors, that's exactly the strategy of whales move the market at the unexpected time price break $7K level in the last 48 hours which made altcoins to be in bleed as well.So what's next, there won't be any real quick bump it may take for a while to price recover.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good trading volume doesn't mean a token is good on: November 22, 2019, 07:29:08 AM
Behold good trading volume doesn't mean a coin or token is good, i read in a thread where few people are saying if a coin has no volume means its a bad coin, well here we go, bad coins can have huuuge volume, you must have heard of bomb token? bomb token has good trading volume but guess what? it has no real use case, the volume comes from HYPE because its a deflationary tokens, people believed that the more a max supply of a token get decreased or burned off over time means they are GOLD tokens, it does bring profits to early adopters like they say but NO REAL USE CASES.
For an investor anything that brings profits to them are good even if they have no real use case, but investors need to beware while holding these tokens since the price may fall at any time because of its no usage to the world.

Some tokens and coins also faking their volumes with bot trading to themselves this is another reason why we don't have to judge a token based on the trading volume alone.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 21, 2019, 06:09:17 AM
To all newbies like myself on this forum, you never know what you are missing if you are not visiting scam accusation thread regularly on this forum, this board right here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Can safe you lot of headache when you are still trying to invest on a project but you aren't sure yet whether to invest or not due to lack of solid information or

You haven't decide on which bounty project to promote yet, some members are very good at detecting scam projects and from time to time they always reveal fake/scam projects on the board, make sure you seek for better info before making any decisions, seeking answers can help.
There is no need to visit scam accusation, just see the profile's trust rating who created ANN or bounty thread because if a scam accusation was proved then he will get negative tag from multiple DT members.

But when we are not sure then we can see the discussion about few projects.
