You cannot purchase ICNP directly. When buying ICN, you are basically buying ICNP in return. This is because 20% of the ICNP return is going towards buybacks and burning of ICN coins and the other 80% is for reinvestment in other ICOs to get more profits. So if you owe 10% of total ICN coins, well basically you owns 10% of ICNP + all the other fees which is generated on ICNX Does it mean if I own 500 icn,I will get 500 icnp also? And can I sell one (icn or icnp) and keep other? No. The ONLY thing that the ICNP does is buy back ICN tokens with 20% of the profits it generates. Therefore, the only way to benefit from the ICNP fund is to own ICN tokens. |

Its like people dont dare selling because they afraid of missing the ICNP boat  Yep. ICN tokens would be worth it for the ICNP alone. We just need 2-3 big winners to significantly drive up the ICNP and generate a few $million dollars worth of buy backs. The fact that we also have the Index fund and the DAMP with it is just icing on the cake on the hot fudge sundae with a bunch of cherries on top. |

Let's do some math. Think about Iconomi a year or two from now.
Say the ICNX grows to $1 billion in managed funds. And also say the ICNP grows to $200 million in managed funds. These are not far fetched estimates.
That right there is $70 million in buybacks per year.
And that doesn't factor in the entry/exit fees, the Cofound.it revenue, or DAMP fees which will be massive.
Let's just say i am hodling.

It does everything on your own computer. The types of online wallet people warn against are where you have a username and password, but the website controls the access to your funds. With MyEtherWallet, you aren't trusting a website with your funds. They only use the website to provide you with the software which generates your wallet. It is you who will have full control over the wallet it generates. I personally like the idea of market buys, and will use my significant share of ICN to vote in that direction if possible. I don't know about 70% market buys though. Perhaps 20-30% is a calmer number.
But one thing is for sure, if Iconomi doesn't start market buying with their profits, they will quickly have $millions worth of assets backed up sitting in buy orders on exchanges. For example, there is only around $1,000,000 worth of ICN for sell on Kraken at any given day, but the ICNP is already sitting on a potential $9 million worth of buybacks if they break even on all sold investments. If they don't use some to market buy and move the price, nobody would ever sell.
Also, a liquidity fund is unnecessary if Iconomi is going to be setting up buy walls on exchanges. If you need liquidity simply dump into one of their walls.
