182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] Batch #2 pre-Sale Thread on: February 01, 2013, 05:15:41 AM
Of course now that batch 1 is proven, interest may be stronger in #2.
May be not. Shipping date is 03/06 - 04/05 and BFL coming too, I don't think it's a good idea to invest money in inferior product with higher price and avalon's developers surely understand this simple fact so we have this money rush... last time rush.
3-rd batch?.. no way without any improvements in tech process. Grin

7950 with good heatsink can reach 700khs
http://ltcmine.ru/faq
I mined at 1050/1500 peak ~600khs with low stale rate.
reaper is good (don't use cgminer), but now... LTC mining... pointless.

Can I set eu1 primary and us1/jp1 as a backup pools? Shares calculated as a sum of all submitted shares for all pools?

One of my IPs constantly locked out, something wrong with your strange ip blocking policy.
I have only 2 PC with 3 cards (total) mining (cgminer 2.4.1) from same ip (router with NAT).
I think it's not acceptable.
If you want to look to this issue there are my login: classic729
191  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overclock monitor fanspeed GCN RPC linux/windows/osx 2.4.1 on: May 22, 2012, 06:53:09 AM
I run cgminer with -I 2 parameter, but this parameter is ignored and used intensity in config (since v2.3.4).
How can I override intensity for new versions of cgminer without changing config file?

196  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: btcmining/gaming pc on: March 26, 2012, 03:32:50 AM
Your PSU easily handle 3x6950.
6950 = 182w maximum. (that never happens in game environment)
Only if you unlock shaders and overclock all 3 cards you probably will get problems with your PSU.
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HIS/Radeon_HD_6950/27.html
Anyway you can calculate by yourself http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

to 1050 core (stock 860 on one 975 on the other) with stock memory (1200) and stock voltage (1.138). I'm getting 300Mh out of each with a
Calculated mhs for 7850 @1050 for diablominer is 311mhs. 300 seems ok.

110 of that is the system itself so Mh/W right now for the cards alone is 3.27.
110? May be you wrong... I have i7-2600k@4.2 + P67 + 8GB +SSD +HDD and total system power on Windows IDLE is 54W from wall (80 gold+ PSU) of course WITHOUT installed videocards.

198  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Kepler vs Radeon [GCN] Architecture, any 680 GTX reviews on mining...? on: March 23, 2012, 02:24:26 AM
I expect less than 280mhs. (2xGTX580)
199  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7870 and 7850 are here! Anyone bought yet? on: March 21, 2012, 01:44:32 AM
Calculated hash rate for 7850 is 255mhs on stock clocks.
7870 = 370mhs and both cards worthless as investment like a 79xx series.
I think real hashrate will be identical to calculated values.
200  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: SSD recommendations? on: March 18, 2012, 08:22:15 AM
I have Intel 510 120Gb for 6 months, no issue, low power consumption on idle, highly recommended.
Vertex 3 and other SF2xxx based SSD coming with BSOD bug and seems all firmware updates can't cure it.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/5508/intel-ssd-520-review-cherryville-brings-reliability-to-sandforce
But Intel 520 (510 based on Marvell chipset) based on same SF chipset will be reliable as Intel 510 (with custom Intel firmware), so if you want max iops, I think you can stick with Intel 520 series.
