181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? Important Weekly close! on: May 07, 2019, 08:33:56 AM
History does not repeat itself all the time, but I like to believe that the bear market is already over and we are in the bullish market now.
Thanks for giving an effort making this analysis, quite short one but this helps people believe that bear is over.

Quote
As seen in history in the last bear market once BTC has gained 50 W MA the bull run has started. Should the history repeat itself?!
I believe that the market is not fully bull market right now but of course it is bullish and since we know that Bitcoin has gotten good Decembers, in the months to come, we might enter a phase of good rise. Bitcoin will cross $6000 in no time and then the speculation in the coin due to fear of missing out would be quite impressive and instrumental in pushing the market up.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: May 07, 2019, 08:04:59 AM
Many altcoins are at very low btc ratios so this is a very good time to buy alts if you are waiting.  Altcoins tend to perform better during bullruns so it may be a mistake to go all in on bitcoin.
The basic thing is the market situation which has been quite bullish for the past few weeks and this is something that has been instrumental to attract investors. Bitcoin is expected to cross the $6000 figure in the market any time sooner which means that speculating in such a market situation could be profitable. Having said that, it is high time to speculate.
183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: May 07, 2019, 07:12:41 AM
You will training to the army so once you comeback you want to see that your money is  grow. Your capital is $1000 and I will suggest to you look for the coin who the value is cheap and this is one  of the coins who possible for you to buy and hold it until you comeback. Ripple and waves is good perfect combination because it is potential and also lower the value of this two coin and soon it will turn to high value.
I'm thinking what really makes people think that buying cheap coins are the best choice they can make?  You know that being cheap is not what you use to tell if a coin is going to turn out to be a good investment tomorrow or not. There are coins that are way too cheap but at the end of it all, they turn out to be cheap shit coins and continue to fall become even more cheaper and useless. Next thing is that people starts to dump them and those that didn't get off on time will just lose their money like that.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: May 07, 2019, 06:26:55 AM
You can only gamble sensibly if you have total control over your self. Gambling is fan and addictive. If you do not have the discipline it can drag you down.
For me, I gamble within my limits. I limit not only the amount I can use for bets but also the time I can spend on gambling. I do not spend too much time on it because, for me, it is only a pass time habit. I do it only once a week, not longer than an hour.
if we are able to manage time for gambling, we can avoid being addicted to gambling. most people certainly expect profits in gambling but as much as possible we should not be too greedy to win the game and should be able to only spend a little money in play but can target the victory we expect

Regardless of the gambling addict, playing securely and sensibly is a great strategy for those who want to increase their chances of winning a game. In contrast to it, one may not wind up the game with a success as a result he may lose his own money as well. That is the reason playing with small bets while gambling in a sensible way sounds well for a successful finish. Though, online way of doing it is great but it could be scam as well, that is why I prefer legit sites and natural game.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO KNOW THE IDENTITY OF ALL ICO SCAMMERS on: May 07, 2019, 05:44:14 AM
I woke up this morning and just wondering how i can be of assistance in this race of making the ICO clean, because ICO is not what is bad, the scam being done is what is making ICO bad.

So let us pick it from this point, a scammer draft a whitepaper to get people's attention, innocent investors pays money to the scammers through Ethereum address, the scammer gets the transfer into his own wallet, he then transfers it to another wallet on a local exchange that will convert it to FIAT and transfer it to the scammer's traditional account.

What if we trace it from here, at least the account was transferred to a wallet, Local exchanges should be able to scan through their database to see the bank the scammer transferred the money to when he requested for withdrawal, at least investors knows the address they transferred the money to, which can be disclosed to exchanges to use for further research.

To make my point clearer, let me use an example, MR JOHH has ETH in is abc123 wallet, i asked MR JOHN to transfer money to my account from his address, the token from MR JOHN abc123 wallet landed in my wallet address abc700, and then i transferred it to the wallet address of my local exchange abc800 which is LUNO to chnage to FIAT and transfer to my account, LUNO should be able to trace my details to my bank since they have my KYC done already and since the receiving bank too has the details. i.e abc123 to abc700 to abc800 to scammer bank, bank to be contacted throug legal means to disclose the scammer information for authority to use.

Lol, the first question you should ask is what local exchange did he send the coin too, because if you don't know this then I think you search will never be possible since we don't expect all the exchanges that exist in the work to begin tracking all the addresses on their exchange just to find out who sent coin to their exchange, so I don't really think this your strategy will work, but thanks anyway for sharing, I know it would be of help someday if not to catch scammers, then maybe for something else.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right or wrong path? on: May 06, 2019, 12:40:10 PM
As I do now, I joined the Bounty and Airdrop projects. And for the results, I bought Crypto coins that have good potential. You are on the right track and I think the results of the prize and Airdrop are pretty good. But you also have to be smart in choosing an ICO project.
It is good to be part of bounties and certain campaigns that could make you some easy money. There are so many people out there who do so and it is good to do so because you get access to money and you learn about crypto. Now after you are done, you can be part of crypto but invest in the good coin, follow reviews about projects or exchanges and choose the best because people make good money this way.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just another gambling strategy! on: May 06, 2019, 12:10:44 PM
Martingale is useful if you know how to use it on certain games but if it was a game that is purely dependent on luck then it is not the best type of strategy you have to use, to be honest. It will ruin you at the end of the day, mostly with lots of losses compared to winning. I wouldn't recommend this kind of strategy to someone if they don't have enough knowledge about the type of gambling they chose.
I have used a lot of strategy but most of the time I was failed to get a profit. I think no strategy will work since it solely based on luck. If someone gets lucky, they will win.
It is important to understand that different strategies appear due to specific assumptions and only are valid and effective if the situation in gambling meets all the assumptions. A strategy at one time in poker might not be effective another time based on the position and requirement for win. This is the reason experience counts a lot. You have experience, you can find ways to escape or nearly escape loss in gambling.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't let the holiday catch you - if you are a day trader. on: May 06, 2019, 11:34:56 AM
Hmmm, interesting but looks like it's obvious that people during holidays will spend their time with family and friends which is they gonna do some selling of their bitcoin but I never noticed it since I just started last year in crypto, I would thank you for mentioning this I would take this in my note.
The concept of holidays is over for the people who are in crypto or in technology. Their mindset is that of a workaholic which means that despite the holidays, they prefer to work and read. It is important to stay active and updated with the latest in the area you are dealing with. A long term trader would enjoy the holidays without checking the price of his coins but a day trader might do so frequently.
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: May 06, 2019, 10:46:58 AM
OP has to specify the volume average on his definition of a small exchanges.
Also, the volume changes because the market is growing, maybe for now I'll consider Bittrex as a small exchange that I like, it was one of the biggest before but the volume has dropped, but I'm still using the service.
To be honest, Bittrex is still one of the best exchanges though the volume is not like what is it in case of Binance but of course Binance has the big volume because it is the leading exchange in the crypto space. The exchanges which you call smaller are smaller because majority of the people prefer to use the big exchanges which means exchanges with high demand among users. It is due to the great service that people on Binance are making more money than people on any other exchange.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: May 06, 2019, 09:21:49 AM
If we can think about that, it is very good. But human, naturally they will curious. It is like "how i keep lose, or where is my mistake, maybe i should try different strategies." That what make people keep do gambling and then keep losing until loss all their money.  Grin

I have seen many examples around me. People become curious because of gambling and them willing to lose some money to get another money. Unfortunately, they will only regret what they've done because in a gambling game, they are very difficult to make money and they keep losing the money. They will think to make another strategy while they still hope that they have good luck in the game so they can win, but in the end, it will only make them feel another regret.
Loosing all the money in gambling is a foolish thing. No one loose all the money because before crossing a set limit, everyone realizes that this is the end and the fear of playing can lead to further loss. Wise people who consider it an obligation to win in gambling have certain rules and strategies and they work because such people do not always loose and end up making big. But coming to your point, it is foolish to chase back the money that is gone.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: May 06, 2019, 07:36:17 AM
I think that the next bullrun will be no earlier than October of this year, and maybe later
We can't assure that, there's still more things that needed for more adoptions to happen, the halving next might be one those reasons why
investors will buy and hold, as they are expecting good movements before or after the halving, we should not be relied from one specific
events but sets of it in order to really see the bull to happen.
I’ve always had the same thought, but recently I started seeing some people saying that there is no longer going to be a Bull run this year and that it is going to be next year after the halving. I’m just getting quite confused about it. Have checked and the next halving is going to be on May 2020, Meeehn that’s quite a long time from now, about 14 months.
192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: May 06, 2019, 06:48:50 AM
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about four months ago. I hold ont and dog Now I want to practice to trade .Please help me give some idea for Newbie as me, I should trade or not? I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.  Kiss Kiss

In my opinion, better for the newbies to begin with learning, do not proceed at once in the actual trade. Because 100% there is a higher chances for you to be lose. At least, if you are studying for awhile in trading, you will see the basic things to do, for what the things needed for it when you are in the actual trading.
There are a lot of strategies which needs to be learnt before entering the trading markets. Trading is a bit tricky and you might really fail to buy at a perfect dip if you lack in experience. Op seems to be 4 months experienced and needs to know some things before starting the trading again with his/her cryptopia account. Trading needs a lot of patience and the skills to buy at a dip.

You have to be patient after buying the coin and start speculating the markets until your expected price is reached. Also additionally setting a stop-loss would be good so that we would not have heavier loss. There are a lot o exchanges which now support stop-loss so everything might go automated you just need to define the numbers with your research.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Talk (Discord Group) on: May 06, 2019, 06:18:20 AM
https://www.cryptotalk.rocks/

‘‘CRYPTO TALK’’ is a discord group created by a great community of cryptocurrency enthusiast. We share our knowledge in the endeavor to make our best efforts in mining or trading cryptocurrency. By working together to solve problems that arise we help each other in understanding tips on how to make mining faster, more efficient, and less cost value for total profits. We are a very fun and friendly place to be! We hope that you join us and help contribute to this awesome community that we now have!
I went across your website and it looks like a forum more to me. I think such forums are getting in high demand due to their ability to keep track on the outside world and their marketing bonuses. Such kind of forums are a great mean of promotion for various newly emerging projects and also most of the bounty hunters who work for the marketing of such projects are able to earn some good profits over there.

You need to engage a majority of the community towards your website so that you can make everything run much smoothly. Now, as of now, I can see that your website is yet in the developing and beta mode so I really wish you a good luck and would see how it runs after you launch it.
194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: eBay sellers on: May 06, 2019, 05:42:04 AM
We'll scammers are coming back out the woodwork as they see price rising all they need is once sucker for the scam to pay off.
Yes I agree onto this. Scammers are coming back as even the price for bitcoins is now on the merge of rising. There are a lot of masterminds who will invent newer and newer methods to scam you or to rip you off. There always needs to be major precautions which could be taken to avoid such scams.

Ebay, being one of the most trustworthy marketplace would never let something similar happen on their platform. There would be scam shaddy minds behind this and also the link the OP posted can't be accessed so for sure it was something from scammers. Miners are in high demand and scammers would do anything to scam peoples in these field.

I believe you are trying to create an ANN thread for your project, if so then this part of the forum you made the post shouldn't be where it supposed to be made,  and I believe you are not really going to get the needed response, so I think you should move this topic to the altcoin announcement section of the forum because this is where all an thread located on this for could be found and I believe you will get the response you desire from members of the forum.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A beginner's guide to esports betting on: May 05, 2019, 07:29:29 PM
This got me interested. Never made a bet before but I might try it out. I'd probably get to know the game first before making any bets. I find esports more appealing since it's something I can play myself. I've always found sports like basketball confusing, which is why I only tried sports betting once.

How about the money won? Is it comparable to regular sports bets? The prizes in tournaments get ridiculously high so I'm assuming bets are competitive.
Betting is relatively lower in danger level to gambling but still it’s not safe either. Why to try your luck every day. Every wise person do know this sort of games are totally luck based and we do know as well that luck isn’t your friend every day. Betting would loss you more than you can earn from other sources. Why not to join a respectable way of income and to live a healthy and respectful life.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: May 04, 2019, 01:08:33 PM
Now that crypto is allowing us to transact globally I am questioning if we are going  to start to see more scams happen between countries. Do we need more compliance companies to step in to help major scams and illegal trafficking?

Full report: https://ciphertrace.com/articles/q1-2019-cryptocurrency-anti-money-laundering-report/
It may and may not be a big issue, it will be a big issue in the sense that when it is becoming a global scam and the government still being adamant in buying into its adoption, it may get out of their control, but I know that a time will come if it really becomes a big threat to the government, they will have no choice but to regulate it.

This crypto scam of a thing going on is really not a favorable one because it does favor us the users in anyway, if government regulates it, it will be more like also operating on a centralized system we have always been, just that their control would not be as much as it is in a centralized system.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think a "winning mindset" can get you what you want while gambling? on: May 04, 2019, 12:37:56 PM
Each and every one hour in the winning mindset in the beginning of the gambling because we all want to win the gambling or in any games but we cannot make it possible in all the things so winning mindset will not be a big problem but if you had vodo confident it will be giving you huge tension if you are losses it.
Yes winning mind set is no doubt very important in gambling. The more positive and enthusiastic you are, the more the probability for your success would be. IN addition, a positive and winning mind set makes you come up with great strategies as well. Experience is another thing that can push you to the winning zone. But bear in mind that the probability of a win in gambling is never one.
199  Economy / Gambling / Re: ReelDice.com - The Bitcoin Dice Industry meets change on: May 04, 2019, 11:21:35 AM
Let me introduce you to https://www.reeldice.com

This image has the TLDR of the below in image format.

A brand new Bitcoin Dice site. I know, I know, not another Bitcoin Dice site!

Yes, another one. With a few twists, but one very, very big difference.

The first twist is subtle. It has three pairs of dice. So 6 numbers instead of four. No particular reason, we just think it's a visual way to stand apart.

Now for years, most dice sites have been struggling with the bonus system. Many have failed spectacularly. Many have expounded that failure in the way they've handled it.

Most sites offer an initial bonus. Some even offer a few bonuses to bring the players back. Our line of thought was, if a player comes in for that initial bonus, why not offer a bonus on every deposit? Why not treat a player's money with the same respect each time they deposit? Treating all players as if this is their first time. So we have instituted what we call the Infinite Bonus. 50% bonus on each and every transaction on the site. For the time being, we're limiting this bonus to the equivalent of €50.00. Of course, we are also looking to encourage €100 as the average deposit.

Another problem we found is that if a player runs out of money during the bonus cycle, most sites tend to obliterate that bonus. Itś like a big middle finger to the player for having lost their money. We allow that bonus to remain active. The next time the player comes in and deposits, he will get his new bonus, plus still be able to finish the betting cycle for his last bonus. Basically, as long as you are playing, your betting will always be counting down towards a bonus. Only by withdrawing will you wipe out any pending bonuses. Yes, you can withdraw whenever you like, without any obligation to finish your bonus requirements.

One other major difference, is that we don't call it the faucet. We call it the Shower. Why? Two reasons. When you request a shower, we give you a random amount between 1000 and 5000 satoshis. Our minimum bet is 100 satoshis. The other reason is because at ReelDice.com, our showers come with the same betting requirements as the bonuses. Meaning that once you meet the bonus betting requirements, you own those satoshis and as long as you are able to accumulate the minimum €10 withdrawal limit on showers, youŕe good to go.

Our betting requirements are 50 times the deposit. Now, 50 times the deposit will seem high to some people. And it is high, but the only way to support a bonus structure that does not end, and for the numbers to work, is to have wager requirements that have a mathematically acceptable completion curve. Basically, the game having a 50% chance of winning, our math gurus figured out that 50 times the deposit is the sweet spot where the chances of meeting the requirements are equal to those of not meeting them. Basically, during millions of spins, the chances of meeting the requirements are 50%, the same as the odds of the game.

Now, having said all that, when you visit our site, you will notice a red label by the logo that says BETA. We have placed it there for several reasons. One, so players know that the software is in BETA and though fully operational, we are hesitant to call it complete until it has enough player rounds to be passed into full production. No amount of quality assurance testing survives actual players in warfare mode. We are pushing changes to the site at a very fast pace. We will not push changes that affect the play without due notice. But we do expect to push development to the limits.

For anyone wondering, we have exactly 23 robots playing the site right now. So no, we're not making any attempts to fool anyone, we are basically looking to load test the site and hopefully not have the site look like it's fully empty. I'm not sure if this is standard policy to announce the existence of robots, but we don't feel this is an issue.

Investors, we are not actively looking for investors. But we are willing to listen to suggestions on an Investor program.

Affiliates, at the present time, we don't feel that making a call to any and all affiliates is the way to go. We are willing to talk to people who can really make a difference in traffic and are open to all discussions. So if you happen to be an affiliate that can actually move real players, and are looking for an outfit where you will be a part of a limited crew of affiliates, yes, we'd love to talk.

Translations, if you would like to help out with translations into your language, contact us and we can talk. The system is capable of handling any UTF8 language. We have already secured translators for Japanese, Hong Kong Chinese and Mandarin. We would like to find Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Ukranian and are open to all languages really. So contact us if you are interested.

Finally, if anyone has any questions, suggestions, requests, complaints, criticism (Please be nice), we will be more than glad to discuss and promise to make every reasonable attempt to satisfy.

Software:
HTML5 - JQuery - Javascript - PHP - Mysql - Apache - Socketo.me Ratchet WebSocket
Here's a very special nod to SweetAlert2, and awesome project available on GitHub. We use it extensively.

If anyone wants to talk shop, contact me through here. We can discuss.

What's left. The name is Reel Dice. The dice part is obvious. The reel part is because we are working on slot machines. We expect to be able to begin deploying them soon. They will be HTML5 based and will be very cool.

Oh, PS, we are aware that we still have some work to do on how the site looks on a mobile phone. We're working on that. But life is really short for CSS. We are working on it. I promise.
So how does this really work, does users get the 50€ bonus on every deposit they make, not minding the amount they deposit? Or is there a particular amount that you will have to deposit before you will be given the 50€ bonus? And I'd like say that you guys do have a good idea on how you have decided to do your own thing, though I'm not really the kind of person that trust things easily, so I still don't believe this yet. I will still need review from others before I can decide whether I should go ahead with this or not.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much capital I need to be the House on: May 04, 2019, 10:52:57 AM
On a betting game, we all know that the house always win everu round. With this i think what if i try to be the house. Not thinking about the paperworks, locations and legality. I think its a very good business and you dont need much effort to do, just cards or dices is enough. People come voluntarily on gambling site anyways. But how can i start? What do i need to do? How much capital do i need?.
So you want to have a gambling business in short right? If you want to build your own gambling house make sure that you really want it, make sure that you know what you are entering before you make a first move.
You do not have to worry about just money but so many other things as well. You need great team, great coding masters and above all a user friendly platform that could attract people. Normally people tend to stay away from the gambling sites which require them go through KYC. In addition, you would have to worry a lot about costumer care when you really want to be the house.
