Anyone explain me why i should do the Bitcoin affair !
A big word game. A game of big words. A tragedy of arbitrary angry word choices.
Oh I do so love this game.

Affair, a particularly incendiary word, or at least it tries to be and of course it fails and simply says, "I'm just trying to make the fellow who speaks my name seem like an intellectual. It's a good career to have. You meet new people everyday, especially when the economy is bad."

Quote
Sounds like a lot off internet bullshit to me.

Bullshit. From the Internet. Only kind that scares me. Once I had a run in with a bullshit. But that was OK. It wasn't from the Internet. I sometimes hear sounds coming from my closet. I think it's an Internet bullshit. I'm afraid to look. But all in all I'm not afraid of bullshit. Just the Internet kind. Maybe I'm afraid of the Internet.

Are you afraid of the Internet, too? Can we be pen pals?

Can i use Bitcoin in a supermarket in the United Kingdom ?

Can you use yen? no? perhaps francs? not those either? what about marks? oh I know rupees! you must be able to use those? no. Are they Internet bullshits too?

Quote
Can i buy a Hamburger with Bitcoin, or do i have to bring my laptop ?

New York restaurants have terminals that accept Bitcoin. And all you need is a flash drive. A wallet that is smaller than your wallet. Sorry to be so blunt and direct, but you came into this community with guns drawn yelling at everyone, yet you have no anger to spare for those destroying your economy and no motivation to learn about how to fix it.

If i see a sweater and i want to buy it, the lady says, that ll be 50 bucks,
oh i m a bitcoiner, hahah.
Bitcoin is going to fail, hacked cracked tweaked etc etc..

Pretty soon you'll be using electronic cards which give you a day's wages and then you'll say, "I wish there were an alternative not centralized in the hands of my employer and the government which is a shell made up of banker and corporate interests."

Slow the f' down and listen.

Bitcoin is for lazy people who want to sit back and lett the computer do the work.

Bitcoin is a high speed race that makes it impossible to counterfeit. The only way to make coins is to run the race. And as long as no one has 50% of the network, no one can counterfeit. The reward for protecting the authenticity of the coins is 50 coins. It is also self regulated so that the puzzle gets harder if the production rate gets too big.

Quote
No wonder you can sleep well at night, you dont have to get up to go to work.

How does that feel, your computer with their cards running while your sleeping, how
bout electricity costs.
How bout turning in a computernerd, studying on cards building a rig.

It costs more in electricity for most people than the amount of Bitcoins they get. They do it to protect the coins from counterfeiting.

Quote
Internet is not a blessing, but more a curse, look at the bunch of bullshit it drags along in its slipstream !

So you really are afraid of the Internet.

Quote
Bitcoin has no charm, i can hold cash in my hand and spend it anywhere, everywhere in the world.

A coin that cannot be counterfeited because people have to race to try to do so. Plenty of charm.
Also we have bitbills already. And no one can steal the bitbills after they are spent because spending drains them.

But an intellectual such as yourself can't be bothered with things that have features which you have to think about rather than touch. An intellectual who hates the abstract. What a weird creature. An intellectual who is more interested in some shiny tinsel.

Quote
I can pay hookers with cash, you cant do that with Bitcoin,

I can buy porn with Bitcoin. I can buy diapers with Bitcoin. I can buy electronics with Bitcoin.

Quote
Bitcoin is for nerds.

Anyone got more reasons not to use Bitcoin ??

I'll pay you a Bitcoin to lurk moar.

Rich people are not wealthy. They are parasites.

Wealth = Talent * Resources
Power = Talent * Opportunity
Parasite = Resources * Opportunity

Resources do not implement themselves.
Opportunity comes and goes.
Only talent can be a source, a fountain of value.

Aside from all that, those who educate themselves have more knowledge than those who bought their education.
Count on it.

So no BTCs make class war less easy to get away with.

The problem is not how much someone makes but how much they take and break.

And the only way to beat them is to stop sabotaging ourselves by hating those who have more. The only thing that you get from that is people who can compete with abusers foolishly refusing to acquire the means to do so.

Stop romanticizing lack of assets. It only makes you unprepared and easy prey for abuse.

Those who do not abuse should be getting as much wealth and momentum as possible to block those who do abuse.

I'm sorry but if you think you can eat turkey at Thanksgiving with a spoon and no knife you're going to be disappointed.

Nope. Federal Reserve keeps printing thereby obliterating the value.

No each exchange literally has different values.

Bitcoins are primarily tokens.

We give them value just because we feel like it.

Bernard Lietaer makes a strong point in his lecture here: http://vimeo.com/6491175

Efficiency comes at the price of diversity and the whole point of decentralization is having differences between participants.

Your forced system wipes out diversity and as such will burn out in a short while or self destruct from people exploiting situations you did not consider.

Ohai.

Rares Marian.
Runs with Anonymous.
aka AntiVigilante, AlbaandOmegle.

Been a while since I've been around here.

Myself and some Anons are working on Meme, a data presentation language that allows sharing of structure along with data over Twitter and other claustrophobic spaces. A few Anonymous crews are thinking of evangelizing the idea.

After that a local currency trading network using Bitcoin as the settlement currency.

Meme, once you get it, is quite habit forming and could break through the wall between customer and developer. It would be feasible to request that customers send requirements in meme format.
