Let's play a game...
Phil used to run a "guess the next difficulty" thread that would give bonus BTC to whoever correctly guessed the upcoming difficulty correctly. We're going to do something similar here.
The game is this:
Guess the percentage of expected shares at which the pool hits the next block.
The prize:
2BTC
The catch:
You must actively be mining on the pool to qualify.
The closest guess to the actual percentage will be the winner. If there is a tie, the prize will be divided equally amongst the winners. As mentioned, you must be mining on the pool to qualify. I don't care if you have a single USB stick or a 10PH farm, you must be actively submitting shares to the pool.
There are no limits to how many times you can guess; however, each guess absolutely MUST be 10% or more than your previous one.
As an added bonus - if you are not only the person who guesses correctly, but you are also the block finder, you will receive an additional 1BTC. That's right - there's 3BTC total up for grabs.
So, point your miners here. Point your rentals here. Make your guesses and win some coins!

Yeah I was running. 150 th for about six hours. So I then started building more eth rigs
I had lots of issues with the build and did not check bravo pool so when ppoc hit the block I had 3 hours left on my 150th rental. It ran out at three in the morning. So when rozo hit I got .39
Total of about .8 for the 2 blocks and I spent about .37 in rentals to get the .8
I was now at 0 for this block so I put up 25 th for a bit.
And I finally got the eth rigs set up. 82 mh
So all good.
What would really make the week would be mmpool popping a block

Nice 341G share to solve the block. Block 407169 was successfully added to the chain with 2399 transactions and a value of 25.36434001 BTC. Because PPOC hit the block prior to the diff change as well as under 100% of expected shares the block finder's bonus is 2 BTC. I have sent the coins to the address you use for mining on the pool. Holy sheep shit, I was really loosing faith when I ran a 5PH rental and nothing... So I dropped to 1Ph to timeout my 2BTC over next 8 hours before diff change and make my 2BTC rental last. Sort of set it and went off to make dinner. Then quickly looked at the blockchain on my phone and saw bravo mining! Did a double take, checked the forum and saw it was me. Thank goodness since I am 7BTC into rentals on this round..... |
