181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 05, 2023, 12:04:00 PM
Match fixing increases the probabilities and chances of bettors winning their place bets; understanding how this complete sector works leads one closer to obtaining more from gambling. Everyone in the space needs experience, and it triggered a good style of gambling and strategy. Given the odds, betting on soccer is pretty adequate for one to gain big income from gambling; betting on renowned leagues and also becoming acquainted with the team all make gambling process easier. Gambling on popular leagues give me heads up for significant gains.
No, it does not increase their winning chance but it gives them a guaranteed win once they already given an insider info. Only those who will be affected is the bettor who knows nothing that the match they bet with is being fixed. They think they will win because they analyze the game properly and are now very sure about the team that they are picking but they don't know those teams are being paid to lose their game, making the innocent bettors lose too.

Only the sports betting needs experience but playing in casinos are open for all even for the newbies. I also think that the odds in casino games are much better than any other sports betting game. I mean their max multipliers are much higher.
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 04, 2023, 07:02:53 PM
Hi, i would like to know if there is any android application for casino sites, sports bets where you can bet with crypto thanks
Are you looking for android applications in particular, if so, then I must ask you why ?
If you are looking for casino platforms which can be accessed from an android phone then there are plenty.
Most of the reputable gambling sites are mobile friendly and so you can directly access them using your web browser.
So there shouldn't be any need for andoird apps in particular when the same website can be run on desktop, android and iphone/ipad.
I think there is a very big difference between using a website on your mobile and having an application for the same service, most websites these days are probably mobile-friendly but they can't give you the same experience that you can get from a mobile application, so someone looking for an application will definitely not be satisfied with a website being used in a mobile browser.

And when it comes to casinos, most cryptocurrency casinos don't have mobile applications because there is basically not much demand for that, most users are satisfied gambling on their laptops and computers so they never demand mobile applications.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 04, 2023, 02:58:30 PM
There are several reasons people use a VPN when playing at online casinos, the most common reason is because in their country most online gambling sites are blocked and they need a VPN to be able to access these gambling sites. I personally use a VPN to access gambling sites through my browser and fortunately the ToS on my gambling platform they say not prohibit their users to use VPN, only that they require KYC to do WD. It's pretty annoying, but I'm okay with that because I can get around it LOL.
Since the usage of VPN is allowed in the gambling site you are using then there is no issue there, but assuming yours falls under those that don't allow the use of VPN would you still use it?

It's commone sense to always seek out what best suites you and as soon as you start forcing things that are not meant for you to start working for you then you're bound to have some repercussions, same with the casino if you start to force a casino that don't allow it's usage in your country to start working with the use of VPN then it means you're ready for the consequences that follows and one thing I have noticed is that once the casino finds out your behaviour the will wait for you to make some deposit before they block your account.
I've never heard of what you said at the end, that a casino that suspects you are going against their terms of services will wait until you make a deposit and then they will block your account, that is totally wrong if casinos really do that. If they already know that I've done a mistake and I won't be allowed to use their platform anymore, they should simply let me know and don't allow me to make any deposits.

I think some of the big and reputable casino platforms allow using VPN, and when you have an issue like you're out of the country or something similar, you should simply ask their support through email about it and if they say that you can use a VPN to access the platform, then you should face no issues.
184  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empowering Individuals Through Statistical Analysis: Building a Casino Simulator on: June 03, 2023, 06:12:45 PM
Regardless of how fascinating or valuable such tools may appear for statistical purposes, there is simply no way to outsmart the law of probability in a gambling casino. The outcomes of casino games are inherently random, and luck plays a crucial role in determining success or failure. So, no statistical tool or AI can provide a solution to overcome the law of probability. Gambling outcomes will always involve an element of uncertainty and luck, which cannot be eliminated by any tool or technology.
Obviously, such tools can only show you examples of how the outcome of your betting might be based on the statistics or strategies that you might be willing to use when gambling in a specific game, but the actual results in the casino when you are gambling with real money might differ since the random outcomes generated by the RNGs can always make it different.

People should only use these simulators to see a few possible outcomes for their budget and initial investment and the settings that they might use in a casino, but one shouldn't take the results of such a simulator very seriously and think that they will actually get the exact same results when they are gambling in a real casino because they might have to face disappointment.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $90,000 all in bet on: June 03, 2023, 05:31:11 PM
Even if you deny it I'm sure it hurts not everyone is so lucky that he can turn his $4000 into $90,000 go all out then lose everything I mean for me this is greed, if you're comfortable with losing that huge winning it still hurt.
I hope this is a lesson learned for many if you made a lot from your bankroll enjoy your winning so you have something good to remember on your winning, I don't know, but you seem to be ok as you are going back to the drawing board, I hope you still going to win and you find the control you need to withdraw your winning and enjoy it.
He is going back to drawing board to turn another 4k to 100k and then he will go ahead and blow the 100k. I don't see vision and purpose in his system of gambling. No matter how rich he is, it hurts the way he is approaching gambling. I know too well that it Hurst Op more than he made it look here.
This type of gambling life will not give Op some peace of mind. After winning 90k, he should have restarted his strategy with almost 10k and use the 80k to take care of life and his wellbeing.
He is either too rich and isn't being totally transparent with us or he is not having enough sanity to understand that turning $4k to $90k isn't a joke and then betting $90k on a single game is the worst thing one can do if they have actually managed to turn their bankroll of $4k into $90k that too on the number of goals to be scored in a game which is never a guaranteed win no matter what.

A normal person would never bet $90k in a single match no matter how much surety they have about them winning the bet since there is always the risk of losing it as well, one should simply bet with smaller amounts and try to turn that $90k into something bigger gradually instead of wasting it like that.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: June 03, 2023, 03:26:45 PM
Manchester United continues to absorb pressure from City, which is a fantastic method to preventing them from scoring.  Gundogan's early amazing goal and Bruno Fernandez's fantastic penalty kick leveled the score. Both club managers appear dissatisfied with their clubs' performances; we anticipate a better second half bounce. The first half closes with a score of 1-1, indicating a difficult and stressful encounter. Cityzens dominate the game in terms of ball possession and shots on goal, but they finding difficulty in netting another goal against the red devils.
I think both teams played with a fairly high tempo but even so, not many opportunities that can be obtained by both. Man City indeed dominated the match, but for some reason, they didn't play as usual, and many of their passes were not channeled properly.
Gundogan and De Bruyne deadly combo for the Manchester United as again in early minutes of second half they give lead to Manchester City games tempo is still high, and we can expect more goals from both teams in 60 minutes we have 4 shots on goal which produce 3 goals, so hopefully some more action is waiting for us in next 30 minutes of this final.

Manchester United is also at their best for this final as they are going for the double and trying their best to stop Manchester City for having dream end of this season after winning Premier League in style now it's big question can Manchester United go for the level or Citizens will celebrate their second cup after 30 minutes.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: how to overcome inflation for the community on: June 03, 2023, 01:25:23 PM
At the present time, instead of complaining about the problems and inflation that they are causing, we should focus on other things to better improve our lives. Inflation is something that no one wants to happen to their country, but when it does appear, at least accept it, so don't have a too negative view of this issue. Instead, focus and try to find some extra work to improve your salary. In addition, this is also an opportunity for you to improve your spending and time management skills when the cost of materials increases.
Your point is understandable but it cannot be applied to everyone. In an economy, there are also people who can barely earn a minimum wage and they mostly struggle to feed their family twice a day, for such people, it is not possible to find more work or earn extra money when the country faces extreme inflation, mostly because such people are not educated nor have any access to technology or other ways one can use to learn skills and earn more money.

For such people, it is not possible to just ignore the increasing inflation and focus on creating extra income sources due to a lack of resources, and these are the people who suffer the most when there is an economic crisis and extreme inflation within a country.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 03, 2023, 09:23:45 AM
There's no perfect gambling strategy that could fit everyone. We have different strategies, skills, and level of luck after all. But the list you provided can really help a gambler maximize his chances of winning if he will do the aforementioned steps. Betting and playing wisely should be done in order to win. You can't just impulsively play and bet, then pray for winning because that would be nonsense. You have to put these things into action so that you can avoid unnecessary losses, especially the last two advices.
There is basically no strategy that can make you win in gambling, it's only your luck that can make a difference, other than that, there are only ways that can safeguard you from excessive losses, like having a break when you are constantly losing, changing the game, or simply stop gambling when you see you are not winning anything at all because you can't make yourself win by doing anything.

The strategies that people use in gambling are nothing more than a death trap, you might be able to recover your losses once or twice but if the session is not working out for you, you will eventually lose it all back to the house if you don't stop at the right time.
189  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 02, 2023, 06:16:23 PM
Probably. The general opinion is that when you send KYC documents they are potentially compromised, but this happens even on large exchanges like Coinbase, where data can be hacked or even sold by them. In general, the more reputable the casino or the site in general, the less likely it is that there will be a problem with your data, but once you have submitted it, you can't be sure of anything.
The information on the databases is stolen and sold. No one from a casino is going to come out publicly and say that information has been compromised. In fact, the casino may not even know since most of the time it's an inside job and an employee just sells the information.
Well, it's not as easy as you say it is to steal the information and documents of users if you are working in a company and sell them out, it doesn't generally work that way since everyone in the company would know it's you who did it because you were the database manager who manages the databases for the company or a website or exchange. So you can't simply just get away after doing something like that.

If the information is compromised or sold, it will be done by the company itself and not by an individual employee without the company knowing about it. That is why it is better to just stick to the ones who are trusted when it comes to using services like casinos or exchanges, etc.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 02, 2023, 04:26:34 PM
If a gambler seems to present himself the way he was being an addicted gambler and feels comfortable or that nothing is wrong with that, then there will be situations coming ahead over time that will lead to the frustration he never expect coming, by then it would have been an inevitable consequence on addition, that is why we have to treat addiction before it goes beyond the normal control that we may not be able to handle later in future, most addicts are also drugs addict base on some people's believe according to the research they have conducted.
A gambling addict doesn't necessarily have to be a drug addict as well, some of them might be but those are very rare cases. A drug addict generally doesn't have any money to gamble and even if they do, they are mostly not in their perfect senses and someone without any sense cannot gamble and even if they do, they can never manage to win anything.

Gambling addict who doesn't think that they are addicted or need any assistance is never going to let anyone help them out of the situation, only those gamblers who acknowledge the fact that they are in trouble because of their gambling habit can be helped.
191  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I've lost $10 when depositing to OKX (formerly OKEx) on: June 02, 2023, 03:46:32 PM
OKX's suddenly raised the minimum deposit amount of BTC to 0.0002 without any informing and I have 2 transaction sending to my account, one is confirmed and one is in pending on the network. They're both 0.00019xxx (around $5), which is less than the current minimum deposit amount of BTC now so they refused to make the transactions credited to my account.

The matter is they've never sent email to inform their customers about this raising since April (I still got deposit transactions credited which was also 0.00019xxx in April so I believe they've just changed it recently).

After this case I am considering to switch over to another exchange as I think what they've done is not fair. Anyone still using OKX should take caution about this new minimum deposit amount as once it happens they are not willing to help you to get your funds back (I have tried to contact their support).
They probably should have informed their customers about the change but even if they didn't, you should always double check the address and minimum deposit amount before making a deposit in an exchange because things change every now and then and you should understand that they can miss a thing or two and we will need to take care of our money ourselves as they wouldn't care about it much.

You should first try contacting their customer support and see what they have to say about this, they should either add your deposits for this one time or refund the money if the transactions have been confirmed from your end already.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: June 01, 2023, 08:05:40 PM
Personally my favourite was Gujarat titans they have been phenomenal in all the matches their batting and balling both were outclass. But Chennai super kings nailed it at last moment ravindra jadeja last 2 balls will be remembered till next ipl he was the reason they won . Mohit sharma did really great job in balling .
Gujrat done good job in their two early seasons with their competence in bowling and batting surely right now they are most favourite in IPL hopefully management will be also tried to keep this moment for the future as well because their selection of players and strategy surely working for them, and they have ideal results even CSK is still one of the best team in IPL, but now things are going to change with MI are losing their ground, but we can't put them out they are finding their ways for the future and management involvement is also good.

With the arrival of Gujrat now things are looking more tough their bowling package is surely one of the best with batting is having right now one of the best player in India who is giving his best and surely going to keep things at their best as well because keeping momentum high and giving quality like this in every season is big challenge.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: June 01, 2023, 07:19:18 PM
That's gonna be hard, because how would you convert your money into fiat again if Bitcoin is illegal in your country. I'd say moving out to another country is the key but it will be another problem since you guys are unemployed, and investing your savings in Bitcoin doesn't guarantee you an everyday profit because of its volatility.

I'd recommend invest your savings instead on a business, start one and make it big then move to another country where Bitcoin is legal if you guys really want to pursue it.
I don't think anyone will have too much trouble investing or converting from bitcoin to fiat and vice versa. Because even countries ban bitcoin, exchanges can still be used normally without any problem. Moving abroad is not as simple as we are talking about, and it is not necessary just because of bitcoin that we have to move abroad and leave our loved ones and family behind.

But I agree with you, it is not advisable to invest in bitcoin with savings while we are unemployed. The unemployed need money for their daily needs, and bitcoin doesn't do that.
Generally, if a country bans something, especially a cryptocurrency, they ban every application or website that is used for it as well, so exchanges would probably not be used if a country bans Bitcoin, and even if the country itself doesn't ban the apps or websites, the exchange will stop providing its services in a country where Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are banned.

Cryptocurrency users of a country that bans cryptocurrencies might try using exchanges with VPNs but if the exchange stops offering services in the country, even after you use a VPN to access it, you basically won't get any P2P merchants for your country to get fiat against your cryptocurrencies.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin What is the probability of 60 K+ again? on: June 01, 2023, 06:34:30 PM
Even though the market looks weak at the moment but I'm sure $60k is something that will be easy to achieve, just like when the price is below $20k many people are pessimistic that the price will reach another $30k in 2023, but that will happen in March, of course this proves that bitcoin is still worth making our investment priority.
I don't think that it will be easy to achieve $60k even after knowing that the market isn't strong enough at the moment for that, I know that we will eventually reach there, but from the market conditions that we see nowadays, it is probably going to take some time for us to reach that target and there will obviously be a lot of hurdles in the way there.

For 2023, even if we reach $45k by the end of the year, we will be at a great price because the bull market isn't here yet, and the whole market is waiting for the halving event to see any significant price changes and everyone will start buying a month or a couple before that.
195  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: June 01, 2023, 01:21:51 PM
In general, I think that at present, identity recognition technologies have already developed so much that even KYC verification itself will soon seem to be a pure formality.  I think AI has already learned so much, and so much it can use databases of other sources of personal data, that it is no longer a serious problem to accurately determine the identity of the player.  Each of us has already passed KYC so many times that AI can even evaluate the reliability of the information.  For example, according to solid databases that are stored in the banks that we use.  I absolutely do not believe that every bank keeps personal data confidential because there are always leaks of information.  So, apparently, KYC will soon be a formality.
And the casino will know who you are even without a long boring KYC.  Smiley
Well, I think that KYC is still an important part of casinos and it cannot be replaced by AI. I don't think that AI can identify the person if he had not done the KYC at the casino.

I know there can be many use cases for Artificial Intelligence but as per my understanding AI is not magic that can reveal a person doing gambling is he himself has not disclosed his identity through KYC.
You are right that KYC will still be a mandatory step even if Artificial Intelligence is used to verify the information or whatever, an AI model can basically not work unless we feed it with data sets and for it to recheck a user's identity or something, we will need to feed it with data and that data can only be collected through KYC procedures, so that will always be a necessary step.

Unlike many people, I believe KYC will start getting bigger over time and there will be a need for it almost everywhere knowing that anyone can easily cheat a system with minimal KYC requirements, so these requirements will keep increasing only to prevent cheaters and scammers.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 31, 2023, 01:41:50 PM
98% of the times I use just Bitcoin for my bet.
The remaining 2% Is for ethereum.
I dont use other crypto just because price can change quickly and I dont have on my wallet.
Of course no stablecoin. I dont want accept any other TOS Roll Eyes
Most people don't use cryptocurrencies that are volatile only because they don't want their money to lose value when they are gambling because you can't exchange them quickly, but you said you use Bitcoin and Ethereum for gambling, and both of them are volatile cryptocurrencies and their price can change anytime and you still said that you don't want to use other cryptos because of the price change, I don't really get that.

Also, most gamblers use stable coins like USDT and USDC only because of this volatility issue and I've never heard anyone saying that they need to accept extra terms of services only for using them, am I missing something here?
197  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: May 31, 2023, 09:59:54 AM
To be able to survive food shortages is to start a home  garden. Having a home garden can provide a source of fresh fruits and vegetables that can supplement your needs. Storing non perishable food items such as canned goods and dried goods to have on hand in case of emergency. It is also important to do not waste food cook only that the family can consume within the day. Consider to join community garden to share resources and knowledge with others on how to prevent food shortages.
Those are obviously one of the best solutions to fight short-term food shortage, the only problem is for those who might not have a place to create a home garden to plant fruits and vegetables. People that have land or laws can easily go ahead with that but people who live in apartments or in houses that have no extra land will have issues with that.

The only option that remains for them is to store canned food and other food supplements that don't go useless even if kept for months so that if there is a short-term food shortage, they can manage with all these until things become normal again.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: May 30, 2023, 05:32:59 PM
We need more people to do gambling statistics for sure. I think gambling companies have this data in background but they will never release it because it's business secret. Individuals can measure statistics tho. Not so hard you can just write down how many times a month you win or how much you win etc. Glorious stories are very exeggarated. Pretty sure there are great slot gamblers around the world but regular John Doe can't be honest if claims he is king of slots.
It is unreasonable to even expect casinos to provide statistics of their gamblers' losses as it is not something they should be glorifying knowing it will affect their business since people only love winning and so they love watching others win too. So a casino will probably just use the big wins that they gamblers get so that other players can see and want to win that themselves which will make them come towards the casino and become a member.

A gambler can share the actual and honest statistics of their wins and losses which will make it transparent for others that how much a person loses before they can win something so that they stop expecting a lot from gambling.
199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 30, 2023, 05:02:56 PM
If the platform is a safe one then it's okay to use your Credit card for online gambling with them otherwise it isn't recommended to use your credit card for gambling purposes. There might be some casinos that offer extra rewards to just grab your credit card information and if they turn out to be frauds and scammers then you will be at risk of loosing your money. Only add your credit card on a casino site when you're sure that they are a legit business and their customer support is also active to answer the queries.

I would recommend you to avoid adding your credit card details on new casinos and the shady ones because you'll end up loosing your credit balance and they might use your credit balance for illegal purposes if the casino isn't in the list of legit ones. The best way to gamble with those online casinos is to use crypto-currencies, because they're better for privacy as compare to credit cards.
Gamblers mostly love bonuses and they do anything to get one, and casinos use this thing for their promotional material, but if a platform that is legit and is just giving away a bonus so that more players come and play with them, it's all okay, but when a shady platform starts advertising their platform with a pretty high bonus on deposits using credit cards, that is where the problem is.

Now some gamblers will obviously avoid this because they don't know the platform and are not aware if it's trusted or not, but some gamblers will fall for it by seeing the amount of bonus being offered, that is how those scammers get their targets trapped.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: May 30, 2023, 01:11:55 PM
Nothing that they can do as they needed to comply with the government rules in order to continue doing business from that jurisdictions, as even they wanted to keep their clients but in terms of submitting KYC some of their clients may not agree to engage with it and not willing to entrust their private details.

Leaving the casino is the only option and there's nothing that the owner can do to keep them but instead to let them
for the sake of their business.
Their customers can stay in the casino, but they have to submit documents for KYC purposes or the customer can look for other casinos that do not apply the rules as strictly as that casino. And I think some customers still want to stay and play gambling at the casino even though they are asked to do KYC by the casino because there is a request from the government.

And it's better for a casino that still has many members and, on average, its members are willing to do KYC to pay attention to the security of their customer's data because that is about the trust that customers have given to the casino. If the casino can do that, I think it can attract new customers who want to play gambling at the casino even though they will be asked to do KYC too.
A gambler basically has no issues if the platform asking for KYC is a trusted and reputable one since they would know that their information and personal documents will stay safe with them and since they like the platform, they wouldn't think of changing it, such customers will simply do KYC or fulfill any other requirement that the platform might put in front of them.

An example of that would be that if I'm gambling with Stake, I like the platform, I love their games and I adore how they take care of their customers, I never face issues when depositing money or when withdrawing my funds, after all that, I would obviously not mind doing KYC with them. On the other hand, if the platform is new and has a lot of issues with all the things I've mentioned above, I would probably think of going somewhere else instead of providing them with my personal details and documents.
