I downloaded new wallet for Mac os. I entered a new passphrase and unlocked Wallet, but I can not synchronize.
The key mark is also not released.
What kind of problems can be considered?

Hi, I have never used coin control before and I have it selected and I see the inputs tab. I select three blocks I want to send to my 808 address, but after I select them they do not show in the Send field for amount. Should I just remember the amount the three blocks came to and put it in there?
The blocks amount will be listed in the "Total After fee" area top right. You can send it all or part of it, if you send part of it use a custom change address to control where the remainder goes. otherwise the wallet will create a new address for change. |

just completed a test sync using instructions above. worked perfect.
Is it a new version and available? Same version that has been posted on the op for awhile. Some people seemed to have some issues so just for testing i ran through the process. |

Can you stake as it is? What?
I kept the active node of novaexchange as a conf file and saved it in the 808 folder inside app but it does not increase.
Do you know more?

How much time will it take?
Is your wallet fully sync'ed? It should be visible on your wallet, if it is. Thank you ,i got it when i woke up!^^ I'm looking forward to being mined. So i have 1.7million coins ,how long mining will it take so long? You should get stake at around 8-9 day. Most of my 30k blocks stakes in max 20 days (including 8.08 days lock). So right now stake you can get stake at ~200000-300000 coin weight, you start gaining weight after lock period (8.08 days)  Since Your coin have a lot of weight, if You plan to hold, consider spliting it into smaller blocks (100-200k is really ok) - since 808 dont have multisend/split blocks You need to do it manually by sending amount of coins to your wallet address. You will lose out on compounding if you take this route. You stake 3 times in 60 days, the larger block guy can stake 6+ times. |

Raspbian OS for PoS-mining 808coin: Thanks Dart_Veider http://darkjedy.blogspot.ru/2017/02/808-coin-pos-mining-machine.html I have not tested this one and its an older version that will need some addnodes. For linux the compiled version should be find but i recommend compiling yourself its fairly painless. Pm me if you need help or jump into slack or discord, should be somebody around. |

Typically I have 8 active connections but for the whole day today its been saying 6 active connections and taking forever for my mined balance after the stake to become available. Any suggestions?
Not much you can do but hang in there and wait for the other pos blocks to mint on the network. |

For some reason I have the same problem even after adding all the nodes from Novaexchange and I still have only 8 max connections. Now that I'm about to stake they start to go down which is why I think I missed a stake last night as when it said I staked the connections went down to 1 and sometimes 2. Then it was generated buy not accepted which was a bummer as I think if the connections remained the same at 8 I would most likely would of won the block. Is this a bug in the wallet MrEggman? because this has happened a few times already when I'm about to stake. Here are some nodes you can try. Shouldn't be any problems the network is very strong. On the first page it says make sure the block sizes are big for good staking
So I was wondering what the block size should be?
Like 500 , 1000 2000 ?

No cap or penalties for large blocks. 1+million should be enough to stake on day 8-9. so I understand correctly I need 1 million coins per block sizes for good staking so the 1000 , 2000 is to small I was going to go by 50,000 coins and set the at 2000 block sizes i will 25 blocks at 2000 You can use smaller blocks, they may take longer to mint your stake. If you have to wait extra days you will continue to earn about 2% more per day. Many prefer large blocks so they can optimize compounding the stake. |

Hello everyone. I heard about the staking power of this coin is quite good over the other coin available out there so I went to check it out. Sorry for my question as I am new in the staking method of coins. I just would like to know how to stake my 808 coin. I just bought 500k of it to try it out and see if this coin is meant for me. Do I need to run additional program to stake it? Thanks for those who'll be answering my question in the future. Really appreciate it. Just open and run your wallet after 8.08 days. Block size = hashpower 500k should be enough to mint by day 8-10?(best guesstimate) |
