I second you with your concern about bio-metric verification and I will add more by saying detailed KYC also isn't good. Basic verification mechanism to prevent fraudulent activities and combat criminal activities is good and supportable. When too much information on name of so-called verification needs are asked that is other level. I am holding HMQ as investor and don't plan to go for bio-metric anyway.
In my opinion, privacy is not the only downside. A lot of standard communication systems, which are mostly used in the third world countries, do not have biometric scanners implemented in their devices. |

I have basic knowledge but i have been watching development via https://riot.im/app/#/room/#blacknet:matrix.org ... i highly recommend you joining this chat server to get latest updates, news, etc but what i can answer for you now... windows users suffer with the "cannot delete" errors...it doesn't seem to make any difference to functionality updates to code remove the need to enter each field on web page individualy...just mnemonic in staking field is enough now your balance is displayed in satoshis...move decimal point 8 places That is all i can help with...there are some great people on riot, who understand the code and can probably answer your questions on how it works, it seems prudent to stress that the project is still very new and in a highly developmental stage at the moment Thanks for answering these questions. It would be nice if rat4 could give some updates on Bitcointalk too, it's just easier to keep up to date here compared to using lots of different chat clients for each project. |

I'm swapping for eICN. Most definitely years. First of all, there is no exchange atm that could legally list the eICN (Security token) and we will wait quite some time until we get it. Secondly, we need a bull market, so that AUM rise and commissions with it. Only then can we expect some significant dividends. I decided to swap to eICN too, after the decline of ICN in BTC value it already seemed like a lost cause. Might as well convert and wait and see what they can make of it. If they can attract more outside capital in a more regulated environment I think it could eventually do quite well. |

It's most advertised use case is fact logging or data validation and authentication, but it's a data layer. It's a ledger set up in a very data-friendly manner so there are many things you can do on it. For example, several of the ANOs are developing the FAT protocol, which is tokenization on top of Factom.
The Factom Protocol is decentralised; no one knows how many customers each ANO has, or how many other companies are building on the Protocol without being associated with an ANO. That's the good thing about it, a lot is communicated about what is in the works, or what is to be coming to the Factom protocol in a relative short time, but there are probably a lot of developments going on behind the scenes too. The coming years will reveal this. |

Still I am of the opinion that the token needs more incentive to be used, more ways of interaction with community and more ways to get free tokens by some kind of promotion, get the name out there and have people recognize the usage of the platform. I have to say that's a good point, they must have recognized that the marketing front needs some work. I look forward to see this coming into play for LALA World! |

The project works well, ISO are successful. But the liquidity of the token is very small, trading volumes are minimal. People prefer to invest in Fiat money, so the token is cheap.
They could have made some kind of system with buybacks and burns to make it profitable for everyone involved in the whole project. There has been absolutely no reason at all to invest in Vezt. The team did not raise the amount that they hoped for, but you would at least think they still would have their investors in mind while developing the platform. This is very disappointing. Currently all ISO purchases are converted to Vezt for the actual purchase. This is done with a dev pool of Vezt for the time being. The roadmap states that they will integrate exchanges with Vezt ISO purchases in the future. Which will put buy pressure on the token. There is a reason to accumulate some. This has to happen in order for their token to remain a utility token, otherwise it will be deemed a security and subject to SEC regulations. The dev pool of Vezt already exists. What happens when ISO purchases get converted, do these dev pool Vezt get locked up or something? Where can I find the current roadmap? It does not seem to be on their website any more. Have they clearly stated somewhere recently that this idea of integration with exchanges is still being worked on and will be implemented in the near future? They should have updated their platform to v.1.1 in this December. The team is focus on finalizing the app’s Payout infrastructure which will support payments to users for royalties received on their behalf as well as our ISO® analytics panels which will track the regular performance of titles offered on the platform.
