Now , I don't want to spoil it , but have you seen the Mouz performance at ESL finals ? 3-0 against Vitality and a massive and impressive performance from their entire team and a very deserved victory. Odds were also around 4 for Mouz to win but I decided to watch instead of betting.
That upset was unreal from Mouz, they didn't look that convincing throughout the playoffs, while Vitality looked like the best team at this tournament, only to underperform in the grand finals. I had Vitality in my pre-live tickets, then switched midway through the series after they looked flat at the first map and grabbed their -2.5 map handicap @3.00 odds.

They were the ones to take G2 out of the tournament from what I recall remember from your post on here earlier in the tournament. So they are the new misfit team to be the worldbeater in CS2 all the sudden?
What changed? Any shuffling in their roster or did they just get lucky like most one and done teams in these majors?
No roster changes happened between Mouz, but based on their team page, they did get Xyp9x as their assistant coach. They did get lucky with the series against Vitality, but still, they've always been a top team, it's just they're lacking the experience because of their young roster.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chased loss, got it back and lost everything. on: May 13, 2024, 02:00:08 AM
Anyone here familiar with this kind of scenario on the title? Just recently saw a compulsive gambler diary which he manage to recover everything when he chased loss then later on he loss it all.
I've gone through that pattern countless times and now it has helped me take an extra step to withdraw everything to my wallet or store it somewhere else whenever I break even.

Despite knowing the risks, it's always easy to keep falling for these mistakes because we always want to make the most out of our luck, but we forget how luck can quickly shift the other way, and all it takes is one streak of losses to waste that opportunity.

What a finish to that high-scoring round 9, only six goals for a point, and i'm glad Arsenal parked the bus to complete the draw. GG imarios and well played to your tough team.  Smiley

Our team will use this free week to prepare for round 10, and best of luck to the teams playing in this week's cup rounds.

I have to go with the Nuggets as well, I believe they can pull it off for the second time on the road and deny the Wolves from going up 3-1 before they go back to Denver.

Not a good day for the Villanova trio. Brunson only had 18 points. Josh Hart cannot find his rhythm too, and Donte DiVincenzo not as hot as he was in Game 3.
The fatigue is probably setting in for some of their starters since they're always playing 40+ minutes a game.

Weekly Update(link)

Removed 8ombard from the table.
Moved Spinarium from PNYC to CFNP.
Moved Blackjack.fun from OFNP to CFNP.

I'll add the other table back once there's an available slot.

That win from Sweden pushed me back by another point again, I was hoping Team USA would come out on top to tie things up, but now I need both q8 and q9 for the draw.  Undecided

Both underdogs in the NBA just had to win on the road yesterday, and I could be trailing by two points again. They better keep things rolling on game three so imarios doesn't get the point.  Wink

I had no idea what to answer for the IIHF World Championship question by the way, but since the answers given by everyone vary a lot, I guess there wasn't that much advantage anyone could have who knows a lot about hockey?
I was also lost on the hockey question and chose the same teams as the one in the example. Tongue

192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Using A Journal Spreadsheets Will Pave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 10, 2024, 12:18:11 AM
Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?
I used to have a spreadsheet to track my bets but I eventually stopped because it already served its purpose and helped me take gambling less seriously. It still helps a lot if you're planning to take sports betting seriously, if you don't want to spend much effort you can find some tracking templates shared by other bettors.

If it's for luck-based games, it won't offer that much help because you're set up to lose even if you change your strategy or avoid specific games.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 09, 2024, 10:57:57 PM
Another win, home teams really are racking in the playoffs so it's hard to go against the trend. I thought the Pacers would beat the home team when Brunson went to the locker room after a possible injury, but man he's really tough, he came back and lead the team even losing OG in that game due to an injury (which will possibly made him unavailable in game 3).
Yeah, that game was a rollercoaster, I thought the Pacers would continue to pull away once the third quarter started, but Brunson and the Knicks quickly brought it back in the third quarter.

I'll keep rolling the same bets for the Celtics game and better go with the same strategy when it's working since the previous series. I can't find the first-half team total market, so the first-half handicap should be fine. I doubt any adjustment is enough for the Cavs to make this more competitive.

Edit: My bet lost as the Celtics finally got that off day while the Cavs popped off hitting at least half of their three-point shots.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peoples expectations about casinos free spins on: May 09, 2024, 10:12:16 PM
What do you guys think that free spins are supposed to be like?
I expected free spins to be similar to free bets in sports betting, once you finish claiming your spins through a specific slot game, you only have to roll it over once.

Have you ever used free spin to make money? At least a noticeable amount and withdraw it?
Yup, i've linked this winning post of mine multiple times before and was lucky enough to hit a 100x multiplier from a few dollars worth of free spins. This one came at a cost, i've lost a few hundred dollars before getting that win.

If you are running a new online casino will you feel good to give money away for free through free spins?
Nope, free spins will always have a catch(wager requirements, depositing specific amounts, VIPs, etc.), and if they plan to give away money with little to no requirements, it'll only be for a limited time.

Shopify Rebellion as they are about to participate the PGL Wallachia, they've removed Thiolicor as their position 4 player. The position 4 will be filled by skem, that's according to a streamer named 'Storm'.
We'll see if they'll pick him up after the tournament since it looked like the guys from Nigma Galaxy (Sumail and GH) are officially filling in the missing pieces for Shopify Rebellion. It'll be interesting to see the old EG duo Arteezy and Sumail back together once again.

Also, the tournament organizer Blast posted a teaser, and it appears they're hosting some Dota tournaments in the future, maybe with a leaderboard similar to their CS2 tournaments.

Rolling it on Real Madrid to win? Well I picked Real madrid to win on BSFL so I think imma put my money tonight on Munich though just in case if we get a lucky win from the germany side again tonight
I skipped the Real Madrid match as I was focused on watching some CS2 earlier.  Tongue

I did grab today's NBA special (Knicks to win and Hart double-double @1.80), and I still can't believe this won when the live lines were 1.30 for the Pacers at one point. The Knicks had a perfect start in the first quarter leading by double digits then after Brunson sat out for a quarter and a half because of a hand injury, the Pacers took control, and finished the first half with a ten-point lead. Once Brunson returned in the third quarter the situation completely turned around for the Knicks and the Pacers couldn't get a bucket to stop the Knicks' momentum.

This ended up pretty close though. VP was probably 1-2 game away from losing on the 3rd map but they somehow made that crazy comeback. Im not sure how they actually got into that situation lol as I didnt watch everything because of the UCL. Anyway I got my 4/4 and yeah it was a great bet. I cant actually believe that Faze managed to clean up Navi with 2 straight maps lol
That Ancient CT comeback from VP is wild, I grabbed their live odds in the second half while they were still down 8-11. The Mongolz kept doing force buys that kept VP's economy low enough to be broken in the next buy round, but they're always getting outplayed by VP and failed to get a single one even with a man advantage.

Faze almost threw that second map away from 11-6 to 12-12. Navi did their best to force OT in the second half, but Faze woke up to deny a third map.

This first half isn't looking good with my side only scoring 1/3, and imarios' team is on a perfect 3/3. I wouldn't be surprised if i'll be down by three later today, and Olympiacos can't hold off Aston Villa.

My prediction for the NBA question is the only thing going well, i'm still confident with the Celtics not dropping a single game, and the first game of the Thunder series went as expected.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 08, 2024, 11:49:52 PM
Knicks -4.5 yeah I know it's been tight all playoffs but I have to believe in the fellas.  And as a smaller side bet over on jalen brunson points.  It's sitting at 37.5 which is wild.  It seems like an under bait so I will take the opposite.  Pacers defense sucks and JB averaging almost 30 fga and 11 ft attempts per game.  Gimme the point God for the over.
I have to trust the Knicks today as well, I still can't count out the Pacers from keeping this a close game, so i'm only betting on their match-winner.

After watching the first game, the Pacers had a lot of players who could keep their offense rolling, and it almost made me want to take their spread.

The over should be easy like the last game, and I also placed a small bet since the Pacers won't be slowing down anytime soon when they have that many players that can score while the Knicks mostly rely on their starters.

200  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people lose in gambling and still go ahead and bet more? on: May 08, 2024, 04:34:09 PM
I'd tell him to keep his expectations low and accept the losses because returning once more to place more bets will always favor the casinos. Your friend will eventually win something, but it might not be enough to satisfy him. Instead of aiming for that big win, it's better to tone it down before it's too late and becomes a bigger problem. If he's struggling to stop his gambling addiction, he needs to look for another hobby that can reduce his gambling time, as that's what I did when I got hooked on casino games back then.
