The 50 Billionth Bet is coming....
Is it going to be you?

Woow, that's a new record...
Do you know how short of the 50 billionth bet you are? This would give people an idea of when to enter  Tongue
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCDice.io - New dice site, fast rolls, instant withdrawals - INVEST on: February 11, 2020, 09:42:47 PM
Looks like barely any people play on this site anymore? Is the site about to die?

What's the long-term ambition for BTCDice in the fact of such strong competition?

True, it has so low number of players because it has just came back few days back after several months of inactivity. There were some players when they had wagering contest but now there is no attractive things that makes potential players come or even makes their early players come back.
They said that they have some big plans for the next few months, but it seems that their plans will be depending on investors. I think that their plans wont be done if the site get low investors only.

Our last investor backed out and sold their Bitcoin. It seems impossible for a new site to get investment so we will likely have to close again.
We had planned to release a new MoneyPot like service to allow people to open their own casino apps but that can't really happen with no bankroll for the apps to use.
So sad to hear it but if im an investor i would definitely do the same on pulling up my investment.Main reason? BTC is rising up
and selling it on the current price is the most sweet spot on making profits rather than parking it on a gambling site which
do have even or barely have users.

just noticed the site back online on February 02, 2020 and closed again . try login with my old account but invalid .
how about the previous (last october) withdrawal which you promised to paid (not receive as promised) but didn't paid even though it's just a small amount  ?

It would be hard since their investor pulled out their investments into this site but they are obliged or should find other ways on paying up those
pending withdrawals but well since they are closing their doors, there would be less chances on pulling out those funds.

Even so with them going out of business its not fair on those who are still waiting to receive their funds, but as far as investments go, though I'm not sure this was their intention, they're risky and this is the worst thing that can happen to any of your investments  - I say this from experience, its very painful but its the reality.

Either way, I do not see a scenario where the funds will be re-paid Sad

Quite interesting your site. I think it has everything to work out. Congratulations

Yh, they have a professional user interface, design and a good selection of games too. Btw if this is your kind of thing, they also developed Luckydice.com, perhaps worth taking a peek  Huh
184  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: February 11, 2020, 04:43:17 PM
I thought that windice will just let the valentines day pass without having any challenge at all. But I'm wrong with that you have brought again another challenge to your dicers.

~snip~
You can easily reach them out on the platform itself and this thread on BTT is another medium for their updates and customers to reach out. But if you want quicker action, it's best to contact their support.
@livingfree you are right they have good and active support as in early days I was also involve in this dice game and have some problems but support response was very quick and positive this forum is used for only marekting purpose nothing else if someone have problem 24 hours online chat is also working for all issues.

And this is great because that's what you expect from a a casino with decent games and customer base. Also, these guys have been in the game for a while already so this level of support it's expected Smiley
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 10, 2020, 10:59:40 PM
From my experience I find it easier to stop while losing already rather than keep on playing after a win, and this is the case no matter what game I play, as it seems that as soon as I got a win I can happily go away for a while but when I lose constantly its frustrating to see how easily you lose everything. So, I suppose there's some sort of control when to stop.

I kinda feel exactly the same, perhaps the team members have taken a cut-back or maybe their generating new stuff for us  Huh This is unlike them, so I hope they'll soon come on here and update us all!
187  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 WEEKLY COMPETITIONS, fast bets BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: February 10, 2020, 09:14:18 PM
I guess adding more games is thorn between two ideas because people who want new games do not care about what type of all that much as long as there is new games since they are tired of the same old games, but the people who are not certain about adding new games is the people who do not know which game you are talking about when adding a new one.

If you were to ask a question about a certain game and if it should be added, that could have had different answers. I suggest making some sort of poll on the website about which new games should there be and the one with most votes should get added.

I suppose what it is you are trying to say is that when asking the community if new games should be added the best is to actually give details about the options rather than leaving it as a leading/open statement, yes I do want new games because blablahh or no it's not a good idea to add new games because of this and that?
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 10, 2020, 06:24:50 PM
Gambling is not all that badd, yh, I know many people frown when they hear about it but in my opinion a controlled gambler can actually make a lot of extra cash. And sometimes, you don't even need to use that much of your own money, especially if you get involved in things like airdrops, and other forms of promotion.
189  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★MyDiceBot★ - Ultimate Bitcoin Dice Bot. Bet More, Earn More! on: February 10, 2020, 01:19:44 PM
Are you guys serious about this? I mean looking at the thread there are so many unanswered questions that you clearly dodged.... That to me indicates that somehow this is not all what is being advertised like. Even if you were busy and not got around to read these comments, it doesn't justify the cherry-picking replies. It doesn't smell good to me ??
190  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Crypto-Games.net ⭐ Since 2014 ⭐ Faucet ⭐ Largest Wagering contest...ever ⭐ on: February 09, 2020, 10:18:16 PM
Almost Monday, another day with no speed limit on dice bets for 24 hours, which starts at 00.00 UTC (in 2.5 hours from now).

Also 10 hours left to buy tickets for Dogecoin lotto round #224. Tickets cost 200 DOGE each. Wink

How often are these no speed limit dice bets? I get the impression these occur on a daily basis but I might be wrong  Huh
Your reply would be much appreciated.

192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running an online Bitcoin gambling website on: February 09, 2020, 03:56:17 PM
In almost all countries where BTC is legalised, tax needs to be declared this is irrespective of your earnings. So say, even if you got a way running a casino without a license then you'll still get in trouble when cashing out even if you don't declare it as the amount you'll be dealing will be of a high volume which will flag the authorities anyways. So the bottom line is that you do need a license to operate the casino, otherwise you will run into trouble.

Explaining odds of these games and calculation method (provably fair system) is must have in transparent/fair casino. I hope that we will see that soon.

Here is what they said on January 29

Right now we are adding this information to How to Play and Fairness sections, should be ready by end of week.

They were supposed to release the information about those games by end of the week which was February 2. But nothing has been announced until now.

Strange indeed! Anyways, have you checked the Fairness section since then, it looks to me that their games calculation method (provability fair system) is explained  Huh
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 08, 2020, 11:25:39 PM
This is a tough one, and for me it wold be several things such as extermination of the internet, homelessness or health related illness which would debilitate me in such a way that I couldn't gamble. These are all things that one hopes will never have to come to, so in that respect gambling can be regarded as an addictive commodity rather than an absolute necessity Embarrassed

It's FULL GREEN HOUSE for our High Rollers at the moment Cool

The high roller's list looks as expected! All green, all profit as you'd anticipate from both sides, the platform and the player's side. Given the popularity of the website in my opinion only privileged players get to roll in such high volumes, and even better for them too that they keep on stacking up ...

So far this week some new bonuses were given out. Check out the current leaderboard with this weeks' to be released tomorrow. What do you think, will Kingzeus still be at the top  Huh

197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: February 08, 2020, 06:40:16 PM
I do not dream of becoming rich from gambling, I do hope though that gambling will bring me closer to my goal by giving me the stepping stone to my new step on the ladder. In my opinion it would be foolish of me to rely on something so unreliable  Cool
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 WEEKLY COMPETITIONS, fast bets BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: February 08, 2020, 06:37:37 PM
We have been discussing where to go with YOLOdice next, and I want your opinion about it. I have no plans to convert YD into a "game hub", but one or two extra games to kill time would be fun. And we want your feedback before starting coding!

1. Lottery - a PvP lottery has been on our radar for quite a long time now. The idea would be pretty simple - the more tickets you buy, the higher your chance to win the pool. The prize pool grows when more tickets are being sold. Not sure yet how long the rounds would be. Maybe 12h, maybe shorter, maybe a week, maybe random, maybe a few rounds at the same time. The main prize would get the most of the pool, maybe the second prize would get a small reward too.

2. Any other game - there are number of games out there. Do you think we could implement any? Keno, growing multiplier games, slots... There are many, but how fun are they really?

3. An original game - we have a few ideas for quite original games not found anywhere else that work in "provably fair" paradigm, have instant rewards, requires decisions when playing and could be fun. It's still an idea that would take same time but... could happen.

What do you think? What would YOU like to play at YOLOdice?

Cheers,
Ethen

3. Another idea for an original game - Battleship!

I'm glad this has been brought up  and my vote has to go to originality. There is nothing more entertaining than bringing out a completely brand new game, of course, if this is done right you're popularity could sky jump instantly. Everyone nowadays is trying to be original but if this can be pulled off that would be amazing - I know you guys can  Grin
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 07, 2020, 11:21:54 PM
It's simple, people prefer the lottery because it is simple, require less mental calculations and the wining is huge. It's just something that the want to believe requires their luck.
Many of those who even play the lottery do not regard themselves as "gamblers". So, it's more like saying that there is specialist for everyone in gambling.

So the outcome is more important in lottery. Every one wishes and want to win lottery but its a bitter truth that only a few people win in lottery and the majority of the users keep on dreaming that they could become rich only through gambling.
Also there is no one specialist in gambling but you only need luck to win a lottery or any gambling game.

I very much agree with you on that generally there's not much of a strategy in gambling or lottery, as I like to call it, it's just a numbers game and you can either get lucky or not. Depending on the games though I do feel that as much as the outcome is important, I can't completely ignore the process as sometimes you have to go through the process once or twice to realise something. So I guess whether one is more important over the other is very much dependent on the game and person playing it.
200  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: February 07, 2020, 05:36:33 PM

You guys are forgetting the fact that a person can do this multiple times every single day via an automatic bot. I mean we are not talking about someone dealing with this by hand, he probably just gets a small machine like rasberry or whatever and he puts the bot in there and let the machine do the work. So it doesn't really take any time for that person, he doesn't even have to check, all he has to do is build a bot that will do whatever it takes to make money and if it ever reaches a point that it can withdraw, it just sends it to his wallet, so he literally never has to even look at it as long as it really works. Sure maybe he doesn't achieve what he wants and I hope he never achieves it (from what mintdice mentioned they don't achieve it) but it's definitely not taking that much time after the first build is made.

I completely see your point but even if someone was to aim for such a high level abuse then don't you think that maybe this can be monitored from the casino's side. Like only allow withdrawals from deposits or wins. This of course will require regulation from within about where each player's money is coming from but I feel that perhaps the best solution is to tackle it from within. It won't be cheap though it will deal with all of these problems once and for all
