181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: December 05, 2018, 11:33:13 PM
Personally, investment and making some profit is the reason why I bought BTC and ETH. And also believe that majority is guided with that same reason. But I couldn't exclude some of its benefits too, like easy money transfer that I use too.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you afraid of the current market situation. on: December 05, 2018, 08:28:13 PM
I am not afraid but I do feel uncomfortable because there is some amount of coins in my wallet and their value is slowly decreasing. Since I still don't trade I don't know how that function when the market experience situation like this but I personally believe that things will change and that all of us, holders and traders will have a reason for joy.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2018, 11:41:55 PM
Some people did that, doubled, quadrupled or even multiple their investments thanks to bitcoin. They were at the right place in right time and some other didn't had that luck.
I am always repeating that; it is absolute need to research and find out as much as you can of the area of investment. That's how person can have more realistic picture, and therefore more realistic expectations. People lose confidence, hope and often give up.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 1$ on: December 04, 2018, 09:54:15 PM
You guess it well, what else to say than,  well done. Maybe you will be right again, who knows, but it would be much more effective if you gave some explanation for that prediction of yours in just one sentence. And yes, many people can not find any logic in crypto but in its price fluctuation, not in crypto itself. You should form the sentence bit different so that people would understand the point  Smiley
However, that would be interesting situation. Then we all could buy it for amazing price, some decent amount, and wait for seven years to pass, to achieve the goal; early retirement   Cheesy
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: miss out on bitcoin past low price? it's fine, if you miss out now you to blame on: December 02, 2018, 11:53:00 PM
The price has already been very high, why something like that wouldn't happen again. Looking from this angle this could be good opportunity for investing in bitcoin. I just don't know if we could get better price if we wait a bit longer or this is the moment for getting more of coins.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking kills the cryptocurrency market on: December 02, 2018, 10:13:48 PM
So far, so good for me, although I have been hacked on a poker site that uses fiat...
Hackers are generally problem that is always present in online world. No matter how good and upgraded protection is, hackers will always find the way to breach it, cause those guys know their 'job'. Exchanges should cover the loss of their clients but personal wallets  are our personal concern. Hackers, as I know, inject a worm to your comp system through some sites and have access to your personal data. It's the most common way. That's why everybody suggest to copy/paste your wallet personal key instead of typing it, because everything that you type on yours is coming up on mister hackers screen.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: The market is looking healthy and greener all over again on: December 01, 2018, 11:49:06 PM
It is too early to say anything. Situation is suitable for whales to pump it up so we will have to wait a bit longer to give any valid conclusion. But I love to see all in green, makes me very happy.
About ATH, i think that we are waaaay to far from it man  Smiley
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you promote Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2018, 08:50:12 PM
I do talk about bitcoin whenever I meet people that are interested to know what are my life activities, what do I do for living, what do I do in my free time... But I don`t know if I can say that I am promoting it that way because, from my experience, everyone have heard about bitcoin. They have heard about it just don`t want to get into the subject at all.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 30, 2018, 07:48:29 PM
If there is no future for bitcoin at this moment then you won`t be able to extract your loss. It is more than upset for everyone to lose 60% of the investment. Loosing 100 thousand would hurt even a millionaire. A bad moment for investment. I have friends that have done the same thing, investing (much smaller amounts) when price was 11,12 thousand, talking about rise of value on 20+ thousand as only logical thing based on some prediction that they`ve read...
I hope that you will re-gain your funds but I know that, if the price hit that limit, you are not going to sell at 10, 11 thousand but you will wait to raise just a little bit more. If it grows from 4 to 10 thousand, why wouldn`t it goes more further  Smiley
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret getting involved in crypto? on: November 28, 2018, 06:16:58 PM
From where I`m standing, I do not regret for getting into crypto at all. I haven`t lost nothing, just had benefits out of in (financially speaking). But I do regret for not taking place in it little earlier. Two and a half/three years ago a friend of mine was talking about crypto currencies almost every time we see each other and I simply didn`t care, wasn`t interested for. If only I listen to him then...
191  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: November 27, 2018, 11:26:45 PM
Since you just graduated you should try to do something that is in area of your education. There you can be most productive.
If you want to start a business or get into crypto world you should investigate, make a research, gather info about it as much as you can. Nobody here can give you adequate advise, we can only share our experiences with you and at the end those could mean nothing to you. So many factors are involved in making a proper business plan. You should talk to your friends that you mentioned, get some informations from them. You can see which one of them is successful and analyze his work.
I personally would chose starting a business because I don't have enough knowledge and experience to get involved in crypto currency as sort of income.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: November 27, 2018, 09:51:03 PM
It's too early to give the conclusion. I think that you will have to wait at least eight-ten days just to see if the range of fluctuation of BTC price will stay in approximately 4000/3700 margin. Even then we can not say that market has been stabilized.  That could be sign of it,  at least for the period of next month or two.
One more thing. It is the end of the year. We all know what was going on last year in December and we know what is happening now. Totally opposite thing. So I think that we all have to make our decisions with caution.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not Ripe To Replace Gold: Analyst Kristoffer Inton on: November 27, 2018, 08:06:50 PM
Yes, many investors regret for not investing in bitcoin  because it would give them good profit, considering that they invested in right time off course. I bet that many investors that invested late are regretting for getting involve in it at all. It`s all matter of perspective, a point in time.
Gold is much more stable and has been known as the most precious metal for centuries, highly valued among the people. Bitcoin is different thing, its value is highly variable and unstable so people that are willing to invest put themselves in much bigger risk. If there wasn`t that huge last years growth in value I am pretty sure that not many investors would even consider bitcoin as some sort of investment.
I agree that people should do both, investing in gold and in bitcoin, spreading assets in their own regime.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2018, 07:17:17 PM
It surely is not game over for Bitcoin. If all the people lose interest to have anything with bitcoin or/and its value become zero then we can say something like that. Value doped for 50% and that is stressful for lots of people, causing this kind of thinking, asking this question to themselves and to other people but by my opinion it is wrong to say `game over` right now.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dying? on: November 26, 2018, 11:50:31 PM
And not so long ago there were some predictions made by some experts that the price of Bitcoin will be 50 thousand by the end of this year.
It is not pleasant to lie down tonight with 6000 and woke up tomorrow with 3000 dollars and you are not the only one having this same concern. Millions are asking that same question.. Should I sell all now to prevent to lose much more or should I hold and believe that market will fully recover? `Should I stay or should I go`
It is hard to be smart these days when BTC price is topic. I don`t believe that bitcoin is going to die but if this kind of situation is too stressful to you, maybe you could consider to sell all your coins. Health on first place. Or you could stay calm, forget about your coins (if it is not your life savings) and be pleasantly surprised in near future when you check your wallet again.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or other business what do you choose? on: November 26, 2018, 10:50:58 PM
Person should have some basic knowledge about trading  if wants to be successful in that area. On the other side, it is not hard to open the store if you have cash and proper business plan but will it be profitable? You basically can not know. Two out of ten business plans in IT sector are successful, eight are  not, etc.
A friend of mine is trading in cryptocurrency market and he is pretty successful, dozen of my other friends that enter the market are not. That successful one is economist and others just made research and thought that could make a profit in that area. You can never tell, there is no unique definition which you can simply use to achieve the goal. Both are carrying a risk of failure. Basically, gathering knowledge is good precondition of success, in trading or regular business. If you know what are you doing, with some luck, you can make profit...
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: November 26, 2018, 09:11:59 PM
There is logic in your statement and, at the end, it happened to be true, no matter if you hit the point or something else was the cause of current situation. Last year was totally opposite but here, you nailed it. Well done. People should have this on mind for all those years to come as some sort of caution, to know that it might happened and react on time, especially those that do not hold their coins on long therm saving.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don`t care about the market. I will HODL to USE! on: November 25, 2018, 11:29:58 PM
It's not wise to keep ALL your savings in Bitcoin. Yes, it can be very annoying to wait for transition or approval of the bank for some transactions but you can really lose a lot if bitcoins value does not recover enough so you could stay unharmed, financially speaking. Lots of time will pass until we could use bitcoin to purchase everything we need. Until then, we are stuck with the banks.
