I have a plan this weekend, I would like to provide a small amount of XC faucet to the top 10 messages sent to me on XChat. 0.1 XC per person for the top 10 senders, I am not rich, so if you do not mind the small amount.

Let me know your bitcointalk name in the XChat message, and publish your address by quoting this text. Then I can verify that if I received your message on XChat.
msg sent

Happy to report that my unit is received today and is (quite loudly) hashing away in the guestroom. I payed EUR 90,-- for customs.
No dust, btw! No gloves either.
Haha...exactly the same here. Except -have paid 97 EuR  taxes

Q. to the experts:
if I reflash latest firmware - will all settings be kept in place?
There is so many settings, options, etc, which  I may not properly understand (even half of them)
Should i take the  risks to upgrade the FW???
187  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Batch 2# got tracking number but still nothing on DHL site on: July 07, 2013, 01:16:19 PM

188  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: July 07, 2013, 10:18:50 AM
..... But somehow DHL people were nice and kind and everything was very smooth and better than expected. It is just about reaching the good guy in the first place.
In which country it all happened, bitdude?
And how you managed to pay al those taxes, VAT?  In the airport?
All sounds a bit hard to believe...

......the risk of losing bitcoins is almost zero.
Dear pyramining, would you care to explain a bit more in detail, what exactly you had here in mind, by saying this?
I'm sure i am not alone who would appreciate this

~40 hours from Email msg w. track-NR received, until it finally appeared on DHL site.
Almost as expected. In my order I have asked  EMS, but for some reason in comes by DHL. Hmmm, what ever !
Never been in love with DHL so much as now... https://i.imgur.com/YgoSZvY.png

... if OP starts mining using ASICs.
  If ?
I have no doubts he will start ASIC's some time
The question is:  "WHEN".
Or better yet - "can we expect it in 2 weeks, 2 month, or 12 month"
194  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: June 26, 2013, 05:03:04 AM

What makes you say this?
My recent personal talk (by skype) to pyra owners.
But I would not make any particular quotes on details, sice that was a personal talk.
And i was not entitled to make it public.

I believe it all becomes more public here after things are set more certain

I was missed to.

Me too . Still see this: https://i.imgur.com/fs42Udj.png
Since  all info, phone, adress, zip  seem to be listed OK there, i have not raised any tickets yet.
Shoul i do that?
197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: June 20, 2013, 12:54:48 PM
I still don't see a tracking on my feb 18 order. it shows up on the website, but I wonder if Avalon actually sees my order? Or they completely missed me.
You are not alone. Embarrassed

Well, you 2 are not alone... Wink

I don't think you can do it easy. Unless get in touch with pyra owner.
Which i doubt is easy to do either.

Get a bit more patience - we should see some good ASIC progress in 1-2 weeks
199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: June 19, 2013, 09:43:00 AM
probably he is having a bad day, family problems, work problems and those meager salaries he is not happy at so he
took it out on those boxes Grin

http://www.coinish.com/calc/#

That calculator rules...
Wow, thanks for the great link, GenTarkin!
I agree,  i made some wrong assumptions before.
If we expect difficulty  to grow as in last 4 month, then it makes 85x times increase per year, or +8.92% per week, or +1.228% per day.
Avalon was really $1500, not 75 BTC, and hardly one pays for power more then myself  - $0.19/kWh
If AVALON arrives in 2 month, AUG-1, then we may have 25 mln dif. With these corrections we have
https://i.imgur.com/KIsyGdj.png
And these 2 calculators show a surprisingly good match.
Enjoy !
