181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins To Invest. on: November 24, 2017, 04:28:29 AM
If you are interested to invest in only altcoins which are already available on exchanges and if you can wait for longer to hold them in your wallet then you have to invest in top altcoins which have the potential to grow more higher in value. Just like you can see the example f ethereum. I know before two years its price was 7 dollars and now it is more than 300 Dollars.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: November 24, 2017, 04:25:15 AM
Why only Bitcoin Cash? There is no guarantee of any Altcoin that will be profitable for short term.  If you plan long term than you may quit in short term on profit.
for short term any altcoin can give benefit but for long term we do not have to rely on any altcoin which is not used much for online service and for any shopping etc as it is sure that any coin which is only for trade do not have much life.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: July 16, 2017, 01:17:43 PM
Both bitcoin and ethereum are providing closer percentage of increase in the price. So there is no need of a move from bitcoin to eth or from eth to bitcoin. If you see the growth percentage of bitcoin and ethereum it is more or less around 2-3%

If you want to make small profits, it is still OK to move between the two.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 26, 2017, 06:51:30 AM
Depens if eth will continue increasing i have some ethereum so far and waiting for the graph to ne move so i can decide if im going to nuy or not eth is quite good coins that i choose way back months ago and i know eth will dont disappoint those investors of him

The Ethereum has got very strong development. I think the price could rise further.

Yeah, it's a great coin. Will buy some when it goes down again to 42usd

The problem is that the price has been above $45 for some time.

Many are still waiting to buy ETH at $4-5 and others at $1. I'm not saying it will continue to go up but there seems to be a very strong support at $40-42 that was tested like 4 or 5 times already, there's no reason it will go below that unless there's a big issue. If you are looking to get into ETH I would start dollar cost averaging buying every week or month.

To be honest that's the best way to invest for many, timing the market is impossible, yes you can get lucky buying the bottom and selling the top but honestly...you eventually make a bad trade and your gains are gone or you end up buying higher because you missed your buying opportunity waiting for a better price.

The ETH has good applications. That will support the price.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 21, 2017, 06:05:51 PM
Yes, I used BTC to borrow ETH so I could sell them short.  Grin

Maybe it is time to short some ETH as the price is dropping.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Third alt coin thread last two were too big. Builds links thoughts etc on: February 27, 2017, 01:22:26 PM
Hello Guys,

I want to ask is that stale share percentage in screenshot is that fine or i have problem with that ?
and if there's any problem, how can i fix it ?

I use Edited BIOS + Wattool .

Stale shares over 2% usually indicate too much overclock. Personally I wouldn't worry unless it goes to 5%, if that happens lower clocks/up volts by a small amount and observe for 24h.

I think it is more related to too high intensity.
187  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Selling Bitcoins on LocalBitcoins.com Legal? on: December 20, 2016, 08:04:32 PM
I suppose it depends on the country but I would say it is mostly illegal but not very bad, sort of. I doubt Localbitcoins is a registered company paying taxes for all the money they make on these people meeting, so I guess it just can't be considered as legal. To which country does this stuff belong anyway? Or to none just like the btc itself?
I think it is legal world wide because i never heard that someone are experience of illegal just buying bitcoins or selling in localbitcoin.. you are just selling bitcoin and i think you will be still use an escrow for dealing to someone so that you are far in scam.
localbitcoin or a company? i think they are not paying in tax except for a website or other needed in the site just to secured or increase the availability of the site..

Owing bitcoin is legal in many countries.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash mining ??? on: November 26, 2016, 12:15:22 PM
did you try nicehash miner ? it doesnt require any setting.

I used the nicehash miner with Win 8.1 and Crimson 16.9.2. The AMD R9 390 is just 10S/s. The memory usage is just 25%.

You cannot use all of your memory because all of the zec miners are under test and not stable yet.
I use the nicehash miner with Win10 x64 and Crimson 16.9.2.  Amd R9 390X 18.2 Sols/

The nicehash miner is quite slow. The Genoil miner is about 30H/s. But that is not so stable now.

The fastest publically available miner is the Claymore miner. It has 2.5% fees. But it is worth paying the fee.

190  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 23, 2016, 04:27:44 PM
Bitcoin cannot become international until people all over the world have the bare necessities of life like food, water, medicine, clothing. After that the luxury comes = computer, internet etc. Also internet is the backbone of bitcoin, without which it is very much dead. So speculating that bitcoin will be international currency is just wild because there are still several places where basic amenities of life need improvement before some cyber coin which floats in thin air becomes popular there.
Well, if that is your criteria with bitcoin I think we can never consider bitcoin as an international currency, but for me I have a simple criteria and I believe bitcoin is a international currency as it is used all over the world and although not all people are using which I doubt will happen.

To some of us, the bitcoin is an international currency. We can send the bitcoin to a person in another country.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: October 04, 2016, 06:03:04 PM
I for one think that buying is the correct choice right now because just holding is for weak hands.
I see bitcoin as a future investment and can only go up and increase it's stake and not decrease even if you see it come down a little bit. That is only slightly compared to the big picture what is to come in the future.

Buying if you don't  have accumulated enough is one good reason to buy, Some who holds thinks they have enough and I myself never consider them weak hands because they are ther for a long run.  But I think the best option for now is to use it on profit generating venture, trade it or use it where it can generate more.  Simply buying them will only limit your capacity to acquire more while using it on a profit generating venture can make you acquire more than you can imagine.

That is true. I think if you do not have bitcoin as 1% of your personal wealth, it is better to buy some.
192  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Selling Bitcoins on LocalBitcoins.com Legal? on: September 11, 2016, 06:09:44 PM
It can violate local lawa, depending on how much u wish to buy or sell. everyone should do a little research of state laws and money regulations. Maybe u just need some paper work to be done and everything would be alright.
yes that is right to say and i think every state will have their own rules and regulation, but i to me as most of the countries have not yes consider bitcoin as a legal currency therefore to me it will be illegal to sell bitcoin on local bitcoins.com.

Many countries do not think the bitcoin is a legal currency, but it is a kind of commodity. So it is still legal.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: August 26, 2016, 08:07:42 AM
its will be not good if the value of bitcoin sit idle, joined hands together and work together as a team, then we can really control the value of bitcoin in the future... Embarrassed Embarrassed
Stick together is impossible we can control the price of bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is always depends in demand and supply but if you have a large amount of money anytime you can increase the price of bitcoin if you buy also a large amount of bitcoin...

I think I will not buy the bitcoin with my large amount of money in one go. I will use buy it slowly and cheaply.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: August 09, 2016, 08:12:54 AM
i think it is impossible to controll bitcoin price. a lot of factor is involved in the price variation of btc. for example the mining of btc.. it can affect by the volume of btc that they will produced, if the mining rate decrease or increase in can be a cause for price variation. the best example here is the halving event. second example here is the cold storage and other btc that lost or burned.
i think this is hard proposal. bitcoin is a anonymous currency and no one owns.  Grin

We cannot control the bitcoin price at all. What we need to do is just develop the bitcoin and the price will rise as a result.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: July 26, 2016, 07:11:06 PM
I don't understand why anyone would want to control the future value of bitcoin. There is no point to. If you look at your finances in terms of bitcoin, it is always stable in value.

Fiat is by definition volatile and inflationary, which is why I don't account for my finances in fiat.

I think they just want the bitcoin price to rise slowly, not so volatile so that more people will use it as a currency.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: July 11, 2016, 06:36:40 PM
To raise the price everyone would theoretically just need to hold their coins but unfortunately the chances of doing that are slim.  The only way we can raise price is by buying and holding plus new investors.

Holding is good. But it needs to be done in accordance to the price movement of bitcoin. Also its very important to spend some amount of bitcoin directly which is much needed for price flow. More the circulation of bitcoin more will be the flow which helps in price variation.
[/quote

I spend some bitcoin every few months when I need to upgrade my computers. I help the circulation of bitcoin.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Control the Future Value of Bitcoin on: July 11, 2016, 05:59:32 AM
I agree with this , holding is good thing ,but transactions are very important we need to to more transactions like buying and selling ,as demand increase it will help increasing the bitcoin price.
And Educating the people also an important thing , more the bitcoin users more will be the transaction and it helps to increasing bitcoin price Smiley

I hold most of my bitcoins, that will reduce the selling pressure. But I also use my bitcoin to buy things, that will increase the circulation. Both will increase the value.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth bubble has popped - Will you be left a bagholder? on: June 28, 2016, 07:42:32 AM
I hope the bubble to pop as soon as possible so that I can buy more. But the price is still over $16 at present.

The bitcoin price is 16.2 now. After it rose to $18.9 early today. The price is too volatile. I think not many people will trade it.

The price is quite volatile. It seems many people are concerned about the future of the Ethereum at the moment.

The price is still quite volatile. But that is similar to the bitcoin price volatility. There is nothing special about Ethereum.

Before the DAO hack, the price of Ethereum was about 0.027, it is about 0.021 now. It would be better for the price to recover to 0.027.

Do not worry about the short term volatility. In long term, the Ethereum price will rise as long as it is PoW.
