I'd bet if I had a h8 thread it would not be edited either, this is a fairly free forum.  (Considering what you've said, btw.)
187  Economy / Gambling / Re: underminer's video card raffle tickets. (?) Your input needed! on: November 07, 2012, 02:11:28 PM
Well the price is right.  I'll enter that contest.  Not so sure how to play and your only comment on there is not exactly a glowing review.  It seems like I should start a new wallet just for this contest?

192  Economy / Computer hardware / Ipod Mini that won't start on: November 07, 2012, 07:32:43 AM
I received this is a trade, being told the battery was dead Cheesy of course, it certainly seems to be being that it won't charge.

Anyway make an offer and it is yours!  I am very interested in alternate currencies so I may be able to take terracoin, litecoin, devcoin, or?Huh just as soon as we figure out a deal and I get a wallet set up.

I can take a picture of it for you, try anything you suggest to see if we can get it going!

194  Economy / Gambling / underminer's video card raffle tickets. (?) Your input needed! on: November 07, 2012, 06:38:58 AM
Hello,

Just struck by an idea.  I'd love to try it out:

I will give a Radeon 6770 video card (pics to come tomorrow!) away to the winner of a raffle I hold myself!  As I'm sure you guys know, this isn't a particularly awesome card, but not terrible either.  This is a completely legitimate offer and wish to make everyone believe this is so in any way possible, for .5 coin you could get a halfway decent card!  Please fire away with suggestions or pipe in in the thread if you are interested!

Parameters: (So far, will update as they change)

-Buy in is .5 btc
-Set number of raffle tickets (20?)
-US bidders only, I will pay us flat rate shipping with tracking which should be about 1btc

More Facts

-I have no address listed to accept coins listed anywhere, *no one* can buy in yet!
-I have some positive transactions on this forum, please run a search if you are suspicious of me
-I am welcome to suggestions for transparency that do not involve releasing personal information
-I'd be happy to hire an impartial third party (from forums) to write out candidates on paper and draw from a hat!

Ditto.  I want to hear how the first investment turned out.
196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining with my 6670 on: November 07, 2012, 06:04:34 AM
I would recommend 5770 cards as you can find them fairly cheap.  (I just *happen* to have some btw, pm for details if you want.)  I really think that the 5870 is my favorite card overall, but many prefer 5830 for litecoin.  I also have a respect for the 5570 card, I have one that mines at 90mhs and it is really tiny with very tiny power consumption--impressive really.  There are also 6770 cards available cheap, which are better for gaming in theory than a 5770 but not quite as strong for just mining.

I don't know, all of bitcoin is a money making scheme really.
198  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New AMD APUs... [AMD A8-Series] on: November 07, 2012, 05:40:11 AM
I also have a 2.9 ghz llano a8 3850.  I can get about 68mhs from it with the flags -v 128 -f0 from guiminer.  It is interesting because then I can also add up to 3 video cards to motherboard, I don't mine using the cpu at all.
199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining with my 6670 on: November 07, 2012, 05:28:47 AM
Hello,

I mined with that card first as well.  I purchased it because it is capable of hybrid crossfire with a llano apu.  The performance gain from doing this however is fairly dismal.  I run my cards up to about 69/70, even so I was only able to get it to mine at 110mhs or so max under windows 7 64 bit.  I would say you are right on target and that usb boot is probably not worth it.  I have also heard of complications but have no personal experience mining with one.  I typically mine with -f0/-f60 on the end.  (One is for using the desktop and I change it when I go away.)

I bought my card for $80 a year ago and was very happy to find a buyer willing to pay $50 for it a couple weeks ago, lol.

Obviously not, this being an unrelated post in the newbie section.  You can definitely count me out of any business you do in the future.
