The wallet is locked on bittrex, and yet working on hitbit without a problem, so hypothetically it wasn't so necessary to disable it in the first place!
Exchanges make their own decisions about what to do. If hitbtc wants to use an unstable wallet, no one can stop them. And the Hash Rate rise is probably caused by some sort of BotNet, how did they deal with it at MONERO?
Monero has never done anything to "deal with" people who want to mine it. There is no KYC process for miners. Do you understand that? Claiming that there is "too much" hash rate on a PoW coin is rather absurd when more hash rate is what makes the coin more secure. Don't be a cry baby if the hash rate (aka difficulty) is too high for you to mine with a high profit margin. Figure out how to mine more efficiently or go mine something else. And someone expressed suspicion to 51% attack, is it a possibility? It is always a "possibility" but it was also not consistent with the observed data. Does anybody spoke with Smooth lately, is he still around?

Without a block explorer this coin is dying a slow steady death. Even now it may be too late, if it gets on an exchange there may be zero interest since other cryptonote coins are far more developed than this one. Sad but true..

I doubt yobit will do much for the price of espers at the moment. Ill wait untill there are some uses for the coin.
I agree . Also we must focus on c-cex because it is better for this coin as it has doge, USD , and lite markets which can bring more investment in this coin .we have 77 vote and if the dev launches a giveaway for voting we can add it easily . YObit is the future! |

I must agree... And the situation with cryptonotes is much harder than that of simple bitcoin clones. There are not small exchanges that add cryptonotes. No yobit no c-cex etc. Most developers of cryptonote coins don't take this into account. ONEEVILCOIN (now magnatoj), REDWIND, TAVOS, INFINIUM8 etc they would thrive in a small exchange, but there is no such thing as "small exchange" for cryptonotes. It is either poloniex or bittrex. Lets see how it goes with cryptopia now that they added their first ones, Monero and AEON. Well, I heard Minergate is adding new coin, cross yer fingers it'd be Neptunium  JUST SAYINI just dont understand why would they add coin that does not have that much if hashing power, while really low value and no even exchange Its based on Cryptonight, need no reasons |

Just buy yourself old pc for 20 pounds ( or whatever is your currency ) and run experimental things on that. At least you will be safe. But wmware works just aswell In fact, I'm workin on my lil so-called project: bunch of 775 socket mobos with decent procs as a clluster to mine stuff I'm very ambitious :DD That might work only on Cryptonight algos .
