The title like this appeared many times in the last 6 years. I remembered the bitcoin died many times before.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: March 27, 2016, 08:44:23 AM
it is possible, 15 years from now, you can be millionaire with 10 bitcoins only, price of bitcoin should be around 500 000$, which is possible y 2030, earlier no i think

now 10bitcoin is only $4300 i doubt you can be billionare with 10btc
i think the price not reasonable to reach $500.000, i think only people with 100bitcoin can be millionare in future

To be a millionaire in fiat terms Bitcoin only needs to have a value of $10.000 when you hold 10 BTC.
That should be possible if Bitcoin succeeds.Question is how much purchasing power will these $10.000 have in years!

Its hard to say for what is going to happen with the value and Bitcoin. It is a currency and that is always changing and that is the problem.
But I dont think it will be possible with 10btc that you will be a millionaire in the future. But you never know.

2030 is 14 years from now. If the bitcoin price rise 50% a year, it will be $45,000 each. So 10 bitcoin is just 0.45 millioin.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: February 28, 2016, 03:36:18 PM
2030. about 14 years. I thought the price of bitcoin will not stir too much maybe the price will only touch $1500
10 btc = $15000
not yet

The price will be $1000 this year easily after the halving. If you think the price will double every 2 years, that will be 128 times of present price, or $128,000 each.

So 10 bitcoin will make you a millionaire.

I will try my best to accumulate 10 bitcoin within 2 years. The first 5 bitcoin might be easy to get. I have to pay more for the next 5 coins.
185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Mine with a dual core CPU? on: February 22, 2016, 09:42:51 PM
Mining bitcoin with CPU is not profitable anymore since the difficulty keep increasing by each day
if only you tried to mine it with CPU back at 2011 you will probably be rich by now Roll Eyes
nowadays no one is mining with CPU anymore since the electricity will bring you down before you can make any decent profit Tongue
try to buy yourself a mining rig like antminer if you want to mine coins Wink

So is it only related to bitcoins that minning bitcoins is not profitable with CPU.
If we mine Alt coins with CPU, it can be profitable because of less difficulty. Huh

For most altcoin, it is not profitable to mine with CPU. Examples are Dash, Monro and Ethereum.

I try with i7 one last year, not seem to be success even use web pool mine, hope you get lucky

If you mine Monero with that i7, there is not a problem at all. It will get you some shares in the Monero mining.

it will be unprofitable, since one s7 consume 90w without oc, and some "shares" of monero, are not going to cover the electrcity, let alone some profit

I undervolt and underclock my i7 3770. It consumes about 30W and have 160H/s. It just covers the electricity cost.

You can mine XMG, that is a CPU only coin. But I am not sure about the coin itself. It might not survive.
188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year? on: January 18, 2016, 08:36:24 AM
I do not see $600 in January. If the price reach $500 by the end of the month, I will be very happy. It is already a good start.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year? on: January 06, 2016, 09:22:07 AM
This is the start of the year, and the start of the year is slow for everyone.

Wait until February to see moves

I think the price will be around $450 in January. It will rise slowly to $550 in February 2016. Too fast is not good.
190  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-12-31] Will Bank of America Defend their Bitcoin-related Patents? on: January 01, 2016, 09:00:14 AM
"However, most of the patents published by the US Patents Office which include offline and offline cryptocurrency vault storage, risk detection and transaction validation systems and cryptocurrency suspicious user alert system have already been implemented by many bitcoin and blockchain startups in the industry."

Did the BOA "inventor" check the state of art technology before filing the patents?
191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Mine with a dual core CPU? on: December 18, 2015, 10:39:19 AM
If your CPU has AES_NI support, you can mine cryptonote coins such as Moneor or Bytecoin. It is better not to mine bitcoin with CPU.
