181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 27, 2024, 04:23:21 AM
Dwight Howard is too old to run up and down an nba court.  It's not like anyone else has him rostered either.  We are 4 years off that bubble season.  What a weird playoffs with barely anyone in the stands.  Felt more like some preseason exhibition tournament than an actual finals.  With no hoke or away court advantage I'm not sure I fully recognize that Lakers championship.
Maybe they can give him  a chance, just to proved if he really is the answer because everytime the Lakers loss in the playoffs, Howard's name always popped up. They are down 0-3, there's no way they'll be able recover even if they'll win the last game.

On the other match up, we have the Dallas winning a defensive game, Luka and Irving leading the team, and as long as Leonard is playing not 100%, there's a chance that the Dallas will win the succeeding games.
182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with AI on: April 26, 2024, 08:44:50 PM
Hi, Thank you for the messages. I still keep going on. After few days I can show the picture. The daily 2,5%-2,7% is still coming. Yesterday before using the amount I checked if it possible to take out the money, and it is possible to send back to my wallet. I am very curious how long will work that trading. Today is the 6th day that I tried that trading with 100€

Well, I was expecting that. However, these things that you have said are not enough to convince real traders because AI is not good at everything, especially in trading. Yes, we need some proof but don't blame us for thinking this is another Ponzi scheme because we are just careful and suspicious about it. Because with that amount, and you are saying daily profit that is very impossible.

But I give you a chance to show it and let us assume it works on your end but I'm still in doubt how it works in other hands. You are supposed not to say any amount when you are just trying to prove it (or not yet been tested), you instead do it first before making a conclusion that it really works.
This is certainly what Ponzi scheme looks like, although I’m not saying that you’re into it but if you will closely analyze and make an extensive research, you will know that there is no guarantee that any trading platform will work with AI, a lot of people have been lured about that and look at they now, they’re into losses and are now regretting.

I’m just trying to be cautious in here and won’t set high expectations from this trading platform. Trading has never been certain, so there’s no way that AI will surely come up with right predictions all the time, it’s either they hit at some point, or they never were all the time.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 26, 2024, 02:20:39 PM
Maybe, Tapales tried that strategy as well early on Inoue, but from time to time Inoue will caught him going inside. And so far there are no blue print on how to beat Inoue. It's a combination that you have a good chin because if by chance you took some hit, you can withstand it. And then you have to be very fast and your punches should be crisp like Donaire's left hook and the timing as well. Plus obviously, the element of luck should be in your side to be able to just have that one perfect punch to knockdown or knockout Inoue for good. And Nery's doesn't have that kind of tools in his arsenal and so very difficult to see what strategy will he used to even go full 12 rounds unless he brought his bicycle inside the ring and circle around.

What is devastating among Inoue's punches are those body punches.  Aside from having a durable chin, Nery should train his body from heavy beating.  We have seen several opponent of Inoue just falling to their knees and can't continue to box anymore.

It would be a gamble if Nery tried to be aggressive in the early rounds, remember both boxers are fresh and it is where the punches pack power the most. So I guess Nery should be flexible and train his quickness in order to land a counter punch or beat Inoue in landing punches faster.

Nery would have a chance to win in this fight if he is able to dictate the round and learn the movement to counter Inoue's strategy while evading those powerful punches.

Nery won't be able to beat the quickness of Inoue. I think the counter punching strategy might work for him if he'll be able to position himself well,  because if he go toe to toe without a clear plan,  that's just a suicide against Inoue who's one of the deadliest puncher in the sport. Nery has power, better than Tapales, maybe he can learn on what Donaire did to Inoue, because if Inoue was younger at that time, he could have already knock Inoue out.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 26, 2024, 12:46:21 PM
Maybe Austin Reaves is the only player that I think will remain with AD and Lebron. D'Lo 0 points in a must-win game is unacceptable unless he comes back in game 4 with a big offensive flow and help the team win.

True but it's too late for Lebron, they need another star player that is as good as Murray so Lebron and AD could continue doing their job. I don't know if the salary cap can still accomodate but if they really need to improve, they should trade DLO, actually they should have done that before the trade deadline, they could have a more reliable shooter now.

Yeah, he is already in his retirement age. Although we can't deny that he can still produce a very solid numbers but we've seen his impact, it's not as good as before. During his time, he lead the Cavaliers and Miami heat in the Finals, but this time, his team even struggled to be in the playoffs and looks like they are gonna exit again with a 0-4 score.  Waiting for the Lakers to improve takes time than just leaving the Lakers and play with a proven superstar, but we will know that next season, maybe.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streaming community are getting worst!!! on: April 26, 2024, 11:59:53 AM
I think we cannot prevent that from happening, and as long as they are not making any illegal thing, they should be allowed to continue doing their thing. They just want people to sign up and make money from their, that's the reality in the world we are living now.

However, we should not condone them because they are just doing their job to earn a living, and as long as gambling is not illegal in our country they have every rights to promote it. What the government should do is to educate people, about the risk of gambling, and IMO, that's the only solution, not ban.
We can't prevents that from happening but we can prevents that happens to us. If we can take care of ourselves and always be careful with anything we watch or read, we will not gets tricks by them. We will knows what we needs to do if we watch the video or anything else so we don't gets tempts like other people. It's better we use something that can avoids us watch the streamer that we don't wants.

They doing like that to make money but with wrong ways. We can only protect ourselves with search for much information about that thing so we don't get tricks. The governments needs to educates people but we must take care of ourselves so nothing bad will happen to us while we watch the video from the social media. But it's a personal decision to follows those streamers and if we can be careful, we will not be like them.

I don't actually see it a wrong way because they are promoting gambling as an affiliate by introducing a certain platform to the people. if we are a gambler, we will understand that it's just purely business, and since we love to gamble, we should not see gambling as a bad thing. They can promote what they want, so it's really up to the gamblers if they will do some research to understand that gambling is not only fun but it's also risky at the same time, but sad things will only happen to us if we are not responsible.

In short, "responsible gambling" should be promoted.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone you introduced to BTC says the risks of her funds is on you on: April 25, 2024, 09:58:14 PM
To be honest, I will not let her invest if she thinks she’s not ready to take her own risk. Otherwise, that would create a hassle on my part thinking about it and I wouldn’t really want it to happen. However, claiming her profits as well if ever she made profits will also challenge her to be good and responsible of her own investment, so most probably that kind of  strategy will also help her to motivate her to invest at her own risk.
187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AI Trading on: April 25, 2024, 08:50:37 PM
Possible scam. People should avoid this scammer.

Why dm you? Why can’t you just share it publicly? What’s the AI software that you use?
He wants to use the opportunity to look for vulnerable people that he can easily scam and scam them if possible. You can see that his account is new and this is his first post. He should be avoided. AI bots are not as profitable as he is saying. Scammers know how to sugarcoat their words in order to find it easy to scam people.
Those who fall from this kind of post are certainly not real traders. Because we all know that AI trading bots are not as reliable and highly profitable, although there are times that its success rate is high but in general, trading using AI will only put your trades into high risk of losing. This is why it’s still best to trade using your own knowledge and experience in trading, and eventually not trust those AI trading bots as they can be good at first but they sucks in the end.
188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How possible can a forum memeber visiting foreign local board here? on: April 25, 2024, 07:59:16 PM
Those boards are mearnt for users to interact with each other & for all I know we have people that can speak and write in several languages which isn't against the forum , and not being fluent in a language is acceptable as it's a way of learning the language as far as I know, but I believe when you use this to use this to your advantage for gigs such as translation jobs and your language interaction isn't fluent then this is as good as defrauding the other party which will put you in trouble for sure..
Using a translator when posting in local boards are strictly prohibited. Otherwise, you might get banned in the forum without notice. However, if you tend to post to some other foreign local boards and explore their type of discussion and eventually learn from them, that is not discouraged in the forum. There are really these type of people who are still more fluent with other languages, and that’s quite an edge to some other forum members. And as long as you never take it for your own advantage, then you’re good to continue posting in the forum.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 25, 2024, 01:02:16 PM
Although the public think that Inoue is going to win easily but I think this is different from his past fights. If we look at the record of Nery, he has 35 wins and 27 of that are in KO/TKO.... He only have one loss, so I think he deserve some respect. Inoue might still look for an early KO, but I believe Nery will not be in the ring to survive but to win. I like his character because he is aggressive as well, and without enough experience, I think he is ready for this fight.

Even with Nery's record of 27 KO, his only loss comes from a KO, and before that, I think he is floored 3x.  So the concern is whether Nery can receive Inoue's power punches without any issue.  I agree that Nery will come to the ring with the aim of being the first one to beat Inoue but the question is whether Inoue allows such a thing to happen.

With the explosive punches of both camps, I think the winner of this fight will be the person who will make a solid connection first knocking out his opponent.

I'm sure Nery could not stand the punches of Inoue, so I'm thinking maybe the startegy of Nery here is to be so aggressive and he has to try to land solid shots first so he'll gain the confident. Nery has 27 KO, so he should consider himself as a KO artist too, and since Inoue isn't that durable, I think Nery have a solid shot if he will dictate the tempo first which honestly hard to do but possible.

There's no backing down for him, he came to Japan to challenge the champion, he should be aggressive and make it an interesing fight. You know, this type of fight gives them an opportunity but at the same time is also too risky for him, but that's boxing and the industry he choose.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, I urge you to buy bitcoin! on: April 25, 2024, 09:25:39 AM

Bitcoin have been battling for more than 13 years now and still needed more support from outside
online people because this is the only issue now that those not techy people are denying how good
and better to have bitcoin than depositing in banks.

It will take more time until more people realize that owning Bitcoin is better than keeping their money in the bank.
the government offers loans and installments at stifling interest to the people to keep them tied to their dependence on fiat.

whoever owns Bitcoin today, they are more advanced and better prepared for the future. we all wait for that time.
Its certain that those who dare to buy and own bitcoin today are smarter than everyone else, because they foresee already how future life will be with bitcoin, than to completely rely with fiat but end up regretting because their thousands of dollars stored in a bank have depreciated their value and they can’t do nothing about it. Worst is they still have to realized their losses with fiat before they start to acknowledge the value and importance of bitcoin.
191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Bitcoin be a full time career for investors? on: April 24, 2024, 09:59:17 PM
Its not problem bitcoin be a full time career for investor, many trader or investor have leaving their offline job and focus to earn much profitable with bitcoin or altcoin trading. Currently many time fluactive of cryptocurrency income but once time earn profit from crypto can recovery more several month salary payment from offline job.
But its make balance with offline job to earn monthly passive income and cryptocurrency will be side job although with profitable more bigger than offline job.
Before making bitcoin become full time career I think need prepare much saving assets early, when market crash and not stable still has assets or saving fund how to recovery our daily needed after retired from offline job forever.
I’ve also seen quite number of people focus on bitcoin investment and entrust their full time career on it. Unfortunately, only few have succeeded and the rest have turn into losers in the end. This proves how risky bitcoin investment is, that it may used up all your reserved patience if things won’t work out and not working according to your plan. So to avoid having them at feeling, it’s still advisable to invest only when you have a stable job to rely on, and bitcoin investment should only serves as a side hustle.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin’s bull run coming to an end? on: April 24, 2024, 09:25:09 PM
The price fell by 3.78% today,Current price $61748.But it’s still a price I can’t afford
After 6 days, Bitcoin is now $66,602.

If you can't afford that rate when it was on $61k, it doesn't have to be a whole Bitcoin. Because what you need to buy is the one that you can afford based on your capacity.

If there is an amount that you're able to afford, buy that then because it's okay if it's not a lot but what important is, you're able to purchase and take the opportunity when it's cheap.
I guess even if bitcoin price drops, it will still be expensive to buy if we aim to buy the whole portion of bitcoin. No one would risk that certain amount for any regular investor. Thankfully, bitcoin does not work like that. Just buy a small portion of it and you’ll be good, and set it as a long term investment. In the end, you will realize that your small investment slowly turns into a bigger one because its price then appreciates from time to time despite of its price correction.

What is important is you have enough patience to hold, otherwise bitcoin investment won’t be able to satisfy you if you see it as a short term investment.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 24, 2024, 01:20:24 PM
But as far as this year's playoff, if Lebron will be able to withstand and with against the Nuggets, it will be another historic feat for him. Like climbing back 1-3 deficit against the Warriors and then winning it for the city of Cleveland. But it's a long task for him, Nuggets are in the verge of defending their championship for this yeaer.

That was the old days when Lebron is still on his prime like he can attack the rim and was unstoppable. Now, although he can still produce a decent output but his impact to the team is already different. Now, for Lebron and his team to win, he needs his teammates to play well, especially Davis, as far as I see, Davis is playing well, it's just that some aren't that consistent yet.

Game 2 was a testament that they have a problem with holding their lead, because they were up 20 but ended up losing by 2.

So last chance for the Lakers, win game 3 and 4 and that would be a brand new series.

I guess to make Lakers roster work they should not rely heavily on Lebron since we can see that he is not the same as before. Although its undeniable that he is good but current situation is different. They have a lot of guys can contribute a lot and they just need to get more touches of the ball so they can perform so well. Lebron really need his team to step up and I guess there's a problem with Lakers system since if they could able to design some good plays where their role players and other people can spread out well on the floor maybe we can see a different result or a hard to beat Lakers this season.

Last chance for Lakers to adjust and fix their mess since if Nuggets will continue to dominate them then this is another sweep for them and for sure a lot of people which is fan of other team will mock at their defeat.
That is 100% true, especially for GSW fans; they will mock them hard, just like what the Lakers' fans did when the Warriors were eliminated. Anyway, what other players should do is not solely rely on LeBron or AD on offense. Because if they continue to do that, a sweep is inevitable. Just like what you've said, they need to get more touches on the ball, which is kind of hard to do when LeBron is on the floor.

I don't see they are relying on Lebron too much, it's probably just the ball movement or the coach design, because if we look at the stats in game 2, their bench points are very low knowing they also have a good bench.

These players are not contributing with good numbers ...

 Prince 6 points
Vincent 0
Dinwiddie 0
Hayes 0

and even one of their starters Hachimura only scored    3 points in 37 minutes playing time.

195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the number of new investors reduce? on: April 23, 2024, 11:37:52 PM
The halving has come but not many new Investors have made the profit they expected. I don't think the new investors will leave because it should be common knowledge that bitcoin price will still get very high after the halving. It's normal that the halving usually attracts a lot of investors, that's why there's high demand, but they'll only leave after they've made a profit.

Aside from the fact that new investors increase the demand for bitcoin, thereby increasing the price of bitcoin, they don't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Most people may give up on Bitcoin because the price has not performed the way they expected it to, but not me though.
I prefer when bitcoin prices rise organically due to demand, instead of when it does a pump due to one news, rumor, or the other. This way you know it's organic and won't crash down within days when it finally gets to a new ATH.

You can't expect sudden increase after the halving. Sometimes it will take time to see such effect. However, when you talk about when it will catch up, no one can tell you when. Even self-proclaimed experts are just waiting for such event. The market performance is influenced by so many factors. Hence, no one can exactly predict its defined timeline of increase.
And to think that halving is not only the reason why people invest, as there are a lot of positive reasons why they rush into bitcoin, then we can conclude that this halving alone won’t definitely let them feel totally down and discouraged not to invest in bitcoin again. But for those who are only here for halving thinking that they will reach their goal in less time, I have to say right now they are in great frustration, but I still don’t think that would totally deprive them from not entering the crypto market again.
196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When you make mistakes, do not fail to take corrections. on: April 22, 2024, 10:56:35 PM
~
Sometimes you might feel you're making the right points, giving your opinions about some threads but do not feel threatened when someone quote you wrong, try to prove yourself right if you're sure of your points or take corrections if you discover they're right. Note that no one knows it all and there are lots of people on here that might be far more inteligent than you, so sometimes instead of arguing it's best to take corrections and learn.
That is just an opinion, it can be wrong to others or may not but we never argue if someone quoted us wrong or gives some corrections. Because they also have some valid reason to say it was wrong, we need to accept their opinion as well and think if maybe they are right.

Generally, the forum consists of mixed opinions. In fact, you have said that no one knows at all, that is why we don't need to pretend that we know everything and always prove that we are right. Sometimes we need to accept that we are wrong even if we think our opinion is right. Yes, there are intelligent people but that doesn't mean they are always correct, they will also commit mistakes and errors.
In general, we all create errors and mistakes here as no one is said to be perfect. But as long as you’re willing to accept corrections for that, that goes to show that you really want to take the process of learning normally. Note that all who have been successful in the forum have their fair share of mistakes and losses at first, but the thing is they never give up but instead see those things in a positive way. That should serve as a lesson most particularly for the newbies in the forum, that mistakes are normal but they should be corrected in the learning process.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading belongs to everyone? on: April 22, 2024, 09:59:11 PM
Many traders are losing when they are trading therefore it is not because trading is profitably to many people that is making others to get interested in trading but it is because some people think that they can make profits from trading without learning how to trade very well that is what is attracting them.
So people that want to trade don’t have knowledge about trading, some of them do see some advertisements on social on how to trade, and how people are making money from trading, so they are being deceived and they also want to trade. Most of the new traders are always looking for trading signals, they just want to make money from trading without learning how to do analysis and trade themselves, and most of those signal providers are scammers.

If you want to be a trader and you are not prepared to learn, then you will end up losing money, because if I will be honest, trading is not a easy activity, and it requires constant learning and practicing before you can start making good money from trading.
Simply because people have turn more greedy these days. Know that trading is never a get rich quick but success and profits will only be achieved through hard work and persistency in the market, otherwise if you are not open with this, then you will never be suitable and good enough to trade. While trading is widely open for everyone, but always know that if you start trading with greed and without learning the basic strategies in trading, trading will only cause you more losses and frustrations in the future.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 20, 2024, 02:13:48 PM
This is how our patience will be tested, paying $100 for a single transaction is unacceptable even if you are gambling like $1000, it's still too high as that is equivalent to 10% of your wager, bigger than the house edge on most casinos. I'm sure everything will be back to normal, so just let it pass, hopefully tomorrow it will go down to $10 and below so we can start betting again.

The timing is really bad because tomorrow the NBA playoffs is going to start, and personally I'm a fan of NBA and I can't miss it, and since what we are talking here is bitcoin, I am sure I'm not gonna use that but I will find a way to gamble using a fiat sportsbook.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban from NBA for violating gambling rules" on: April 20, 2024, 12:18:44 PM

Thoughts in general?

"My thought". The NBA definitely chose the right player to make an example of in this matter. It brought the message/warning across, and it didn't give them a hard decision because he isn't a player whose name is spelled L-E-B-R-O-N. Because if it was actually a player such as Lebron or one of those "highly-endorsed" players, then we could truly expect the NBA to hide this matter from the public, OR  have the player make a "public apology" + a suspension, but not a life-time ban.

Maybe yes or no on this matter. It’s subjective because there’s rules about this specific matter which even popular names are not exempted to the punishment especially if there’s a player already received punishment on same violation.

I doubt popular player will do idiotic move like this because they already have enough salary and good career. Only minor role player can be tempted to this since they feel that their salary is not worthy while they don’t enjoy the game that much because they have few ball time.

But if Lebron caught doing this. The public will surely enraged if the punishment is not the same to Porter.

Lebron aren't gonna do that stupid thing, he is making a lot of money in the NBA and he is making his legacy, one mistake that like that will eliminate all the success he work hard from the very beginning. Let's admit it, after Kobe Bryant, it's currently Lebron James who are considered as the best player in the NBA although he is already aging, he is a living legend that is still playing actively and producing like he didn't get old.

The NBA can make a lot of story for Lebron, and that would result to money,.. so speculations that NBA might hide it, that could be possible but it's not necessary to reach at that level since Lebron is not gonna do that.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Casino Game Has the Best Odds? on: April 20, 2024, 11:19:51 AM
Will you consider sports betting as a casino game? if so, that is my answer. Because games that casino design which is you try to beat the casino, that has a house edge and regardless on how small it is, your only chance to win is just luck, nothing will change though.

However, if you do sports betting, you can choose the betting odds you like, odds like +100 over are gonna give you the best odds. Although there are favorites and underdog in sports betting, it's not the same with casinos where it's computed mathematically because oddsmaker could be wrong sometimes and that's what you are going to hunt.
