俄罗斯当地新闻称，俄罗斯央行将会见国家金融市场代表，讨论下周的比特币监管。
莫斯科著名新闻媒体《新闻报》说，银行很可能会支持加密货币。
有一篇文章，援引了来自中央银行的消息，写道：
“央行对于加密货币的立场在过去一年已经改变了。新闻源承认，央行可能授权并且规范比特币，实现个人的转账与支付互联。”
与CoinDesk谈话里，俄罗斯加密货币基金会（CCFR）的一位发言人表达了对该新闻的失望。该组织曾多次与当局讨论监管问题，他们说，然而这些尝试证明都没有效果。
发言人因银行突然对电子货币兴趣而感到质疑，希望能召开一个开放的对话，了解财务自由和公民权利。但是，这一切似乎不太可能发生。
“真正的权力下放支持者将不得不忘记自己的梦想。俄罗斯的监管将不符合中本聪的理想。”

美国财政部的一项新研究报道称，比特币可能被用于资助恐怖主义，但表示仍不确定带来的实际风险。
《国家恐怖主义融资风险评估》于6月12日出版，内容包括虚拟货币的作为一个工具用于资助恐怖主义的“潜在”风险声称比特币可能容易受到恐怖主义金融家的滥用。
报告指出：
“鉴于虚拟货币有吸引非法金融交易的可能性，恐怖组织可能使用这新的支付系统在美国收集资金并转移给恐怖分子或者资助他们在美国的支持者。目前恐怖融资的风险尚不清楚。”
美国财政部建议将犯罪分子使用虚拟货币洗钱并取得非法收益作为恐怖主义资助者的一个例子。
现在，该报告断言恐怖组织是依靠现金来促进全球资金的转移，这一结果由全球银行体系的金融监测得出。
其他还包括慈善诈骗，也存在重大的恐怖主义融资风险。

Great news. I was very surprised by it to be honest. Was expecting a no vote from what is usually considered a very devout Catholic country.
Indonisia is next with the YES vote...  then Russia, North Korea, China, Cuba, Iraq ... The majority of USA also support it, legal in 38 states and D.C. It's unlikely that it will happen in red countries(Russia, China, especially North Korea), it will always happen in free and democratic countries. |
