181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to still make a good return from Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2021, 05:48:17 AM
You can go both ways, right?

I am not talking about forgetting Bitcoin but holding your Bitcoin in your wallet, check the prices if you want you can do some trades in your free time while still managing your own business. I don't think you would be having a problem when it comes to doing both of them since you can just check the price chart every now and then.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: January 28, 2021, 02:16:10 AM
There are a lot of things that I wanted to do but that fulfills one thing.

If the price ever reach that price and I am still alive at that time, that would be so amazing. It is because the fact that it reaches that price means a lot of people are using it. Maybe more companies invested in it and a lot of platforms are accepting it. That time, for sure, I could use Bitcoin as a currency online as almost all the online stores are accepting it.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: January 28, 2021, 01:54:36 AM
To be honest there are a lot of reasons why I dumped most of them.

But I will just be telling the two reasons:

1. It is starting to make a huge price drop that led to its death. Most of the coins I invested in the past are those coins that are just starting. Some of them are giving me profits in the long run but most of them fell when the coins were distributed. Sometimes I stay for a while and if I don't see any improvement from that, I sold them. There are some that improved but most of them died.

2. Because I needed it. I know that we should just invest what we can lose but there are those times that I really needed my money. Don't get me wrong though, I didn't sell them because I invested all of my money in them, it is just because they are also doing well so I am having my thoughts of selling them then something comes up and I needed it so since it is giving me profits, might as well sell it since I also need it.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you think you are smart just know that some are smarter on: January 28, 2021, 12:50:58 AM
I've heard about this and it is really smart.

No one is saying who was the victim of it but I know one of my friends fell for this. Some people might say that who's stupid enough to share a private key on the internet but there are a lot of people that accidentally shared or showed it. I know someone who did that and at that time he is just starting to know about ETH addresses. Either way, we should really be careful because not all of the things that we see might be a blessing, it might be a trap.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 24, 2021, 11:29:36 AM
Life is really harsh.

I am kind of also envious of those people winning those huge amounts of money not realizing these sides of that story. Another thing is that it is my first time that I heard those people that died because of the surprise or their heart not able to take that shock. I mean, the percentage is so low. I would be surprised too but not at the point that I would be dying because of it. Man! just imagine how bad they feel if they knew they died after winning the lottery. So, did they still get their prize? I mean did their family get it? Or is there another beneficiary of that win when that happens?
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: January 24, 2021, 11:25:13 AM
Will these people accept with the regulation though?

People would think that the government wanted that taxes so bad that is why they are planning this all ahead. In my opinion it is really necessary for them to point out these illegal gambling places as there are a lot of people making these secret bets and secret profits that is like an underground gambling place to me. They need to address if they have a problem, and it is necessary for strict protocols.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 24, 2021, 08:47:38 AM
That is just huge.

From the texas woman winning $60 million to someone that won over half a billion dollars. That is just amazing. I hope the luck of these guys would be spread out to people as this year is the start of what other people are saying, a healing year after the worst year of my life. Hope this is a sign of this great year and what lies ahead.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 24, 2021, 04:24:17 AM
Then don't gamble your BTC,  Grin

I of course understands that but most of the signature campaigns now are already paying the weekly payment pegged on USD value, so the higher the price of bitcoin, the lower bitcoin you will received, which means it does not really affect you at all since $100 btc is always $100 in btc.
That's what I said that I don't spend btc in gambling and instead using fiat/cash that I have as spare. With that valuation, it's not always $100 in btc because it fluctuates.

It can be higher tomorrow or lower.

This is the reason why I put funds that I don't use in some of the gambling sites I visit.

I could do some bets if I wanted to and most of the funds that I put are not that much and something that I can actually lose. Although this year, I accidentally bet all of it and I need to save some money because of the pandemic and because my parents needed the money. I can't send some funds to that account for some time the reason why I still can't gamble right now.
That's very unfortunate if you have accidentally bet all of it. Is there nothing left to you when you've done that mistake?

You can gamble again soon and you'll be able to recover that but just as we say, priorities first.

There is nothing left.

But you don't need to worry about it. It is an amount I could definitely take back in a short period of time, that is how low that amount is. Family is my priority right now especially that they are aging so quickly. Time really passes by so quickly, that is why I am also making some free time so I could talk to them. They also have it rough as they are usually warned about going outside.
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: January 24, 2021, 04:21:04 AM
Trading is better for me.

I know that investing also gives a good profit in time but trading gives more chances to earn a profit. For starters, I would recommend investing so they could also look at the price changes that are happening over time. If they can adjust and learn things about trading, they could start at low price and slowly increase the funds they are using.
190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 24, 2021, 02:38:23 AM
There are a lot of skilled traders.

People are getting rich by trading. There are a lot of them and some of them are even paid to trade other's funds. As long as you know what you are doing, you have the knowledge to do so. Some say that it needs a lot of funds to start with but there are a lot of people that started with a little fund and now earning a lot of profit.
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 24, 2021, 02:26:08 AM
I would really love to save some Bitcoins.

Since the price of Bitcoin is quite unpredictable right now, I think it is best to wait for some time and look at the price chart. Maybe look at the identifiers so you would know what to do in certain situations. If you feel that the price is going low, you should be wary of the price changes and mark a price where you could reinvest.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: January 24, 2021, 01:42:42 AM
when i saw the price i thought the price wouldn't reach $ 50k. maybe the price will come back $ 15k. if you look at ATH 2017-2018 Cheesy

That is probable but I don't think it will be.

With the price reaching that kind of height, if the price went down lower than $20K, for sure people would take it as an opportunity. I don't think it would even reach that kind of price lower than $20K. I am seeing the price in the near future at $50K and it might reach higher considering the demand and the adoption that would happen.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 24, 2021, 01:30:37 AM

Losing in gambling is inevitable.
Definitely no, inevitable means unavoidable, of course you can avoid gambling so you will not experience loses.

That is obvious.

That is the reason why I am talking about gambling itself and not avoiding gambling. That is why I am talking about control since I am also talking about when someone can't stop gambling. Although controlling one's self doesn't mean that you can avoid gambling and also avoid losing, as they said, we can't stop losing but we can minimize our losses.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 23, 2021, 11:36:22 AM
Still laughing when thinking my self why always put betting on weekend during have football match, when beginning on betting almost my prediction loss with one match only but never try how to stop it, many time loss and waste much money so far with gambling site but many of us never have ideas when quit from betting or gambling, but I only beginning with small amount for betting about 300 DOGE each weekend and only playing with football match.
You're lucky to lose only on weekends and that's different for me, because at least almost every day I get lost. I also bet a little money because then, at least I can bet every day on the many sports there are. But yes, even though it's only a small amount of money, if it's done every day and the results are lost, then it still hurts and it's difficult for me to reverse the situation because my history of defeat is too high.
If you can know when to stop gambling, you do not have to lose every day or lose your money but that will not be bigger. We must manage our money to gamble, and we can use a small amount of money as you say before we lose more money. Maybe you can reduce your time to gamble every day, and change it into three times a week, so you do not have to lose every day.

Losing in gambling is inevitable.

And that is on you on how you will be controlling yourself. Despite that you control yourself every day, it doesn't mean that you will not lose but it can mean that the loss you will be taking is not that much as you can stop whenever you wanted to. If you can't stop gambling at least try to control your self and usually in this situation, gamblers can be triggered by their emotion.

196  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 23, 2021, 11:13:04 AM
What are they thinking?

This is not desperation at all, this is just stupidity. How can someone trust the dark web? Doesn't mean that there is a vaccine in the dark web that means it is a legitimate vaccine, not even effective at least. I don't know where did they based their assumptions that they should buy these vaccine shots but this is just stupid.

In my country there is 0 chance of getting a real COVID 19 vaccine on the dark web. They are all fake at won't be worth anything. Worst case they could actually be harmful to you. I would advise strongly against buying any of those. So far the only people getting vaccinated are elderly people (80+ years) or hospital and retirment home staff. There seems to be a few rich people who make generous donations to retirement homes and then are able to get a vaccine with the elderly people even though they are much younger.

Despite the country that you are in, I don't think it will be real.

We are talking about the deep web here, where a lot of creepy and illegal things can be bought. I don't think that is a reliable reason to say that there will be a legitimate vaccine that they can buy in there. Why not just wait for the vaccine and while they are waiting they just need to follow the safety precautions to avoid the virus. I know it is hard, that is just the same with the other countries.

198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 23, 2021, 10:24:55 AM
How could you say that?

There is no way that the government could rule the market or the cryptocurrencies? The number one reason is that it is decentralized and unless you are using the exchange that the government made then that means they could actually control or rule your Bitcoin, another thing is banning Bitcoin but I don't think we should even think about it.
They can't rule the market but they can rule the exchanges look at what is happening at exchanges in USA right now, everyone needs to comply with the government, messing up with government is a bad move for anyone because the government does everything at its disposal to obliterate its enemies especially individual ones, they crush them the best because they are the most helpless. Banning will not be a good thing I agree because it only makes things more difficult to control the people because they will always find a way.

What are these compliances though?

In our country people are still needed KYC in order to use exchanges at their full capacity. I don't think that could actually control the market since that is just a requirement as a regulation of the government to the site or that exchange. Another thing is that most of the people with huge amounts of Bitcoin are not putting their Bitcoins into exchanges, the reason I don' think they can't control it.

200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 23, 2021, 03:02:33 AM
I don't know why I always love reading news about lottery winners, maybe the lottery is one way to get rich without hard work. It's a dream of
many people, I also really hope to be a lottery winner one day. But to amazement for the Toronto woman who won the lottery jackpot, she had
absolutely consistently hoped for 20 years to become a lottery winner. Those who have tried for years deserve to win, maybe her with the money of
$ 60 Million are just enjoying life right now.

I just hope she's managing it well.

There are a lot of lottery winners that lost their money so quickly. The problem there is that they can't handle their money so well so they are spending it on a lot of things not realizing they are losing the money they just won. If that would be the case, I think they should really call or approach assistance when it comes to their winning funds.
