181  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC under $1.99/Ghash on: September 26, 2013, 08:01:43 AM
Every ASIC manufacturer needs to drop prices heavily by end of this year if they are going to sell anything. Why not be the first one selling 2th @ 1000$ price tag as you are going to deliver end of feb? Will fullfill your order books sure and make roi for miners possibly possible... regardless that and if you deliver about by time you have then good and quite happy customer base ready to take your next offer. Good deal for you and miners?!

Do you have any more details available about hosting option?
186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CROWD FUNDING ASIC on: September 17, 2013, 03:26:26 PM
Why not decide amount... buy ready chips when available at good discount (bitfury, cointerra, bitmine etc...) and team up with some assembly and find cheap electrity place for hosting ready units and share income based on investments? Payments just before chip buy and assembly etc. just small % for covering managing & hosting etc.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 15, 2013, 04:53:31 PM
No they didn't they paid for a product priced in dollars

no. I paid over 85BTC for Jupiter (with VAT and shipping) via BitPay. I also paid for PSU (220$). so now I have to mine at least 85BTC to get my investment back + pay for electricity (0.25$/kW).

do you think that I will get my BTC back and earn something, if I will start mining last day of September? You have got here answer for every question, so please answer this.) thanks.

Unfortunately, no way...

For sale: Avalon Batch #3 Four mod unit 105+ Gh/s in hand

*Avalon Batch #3 Four (4) Mod unit
*This unit is guaranteed to mine at the advertised 85 Gh/s as per Avalon's specs.
*But it is running currently perfectly and averaging around 105 Gh/s (overclocking is at your own risk).
*Black "final" Avalon design
*WiFi Antenna not included, but works fine wireless if router is nearby or use ethernet cable
*Three case screws missing.
*cgminer does restart a few times a day, but I guess it can be solved easily (read Avalon user thread). Anyway, Im not wanting to do firmware upgrade etc. as it hashes fine 350MHz / avalon-auto averaging 105+ Gh/s
*PSU IS NOT INCLUDED as Im using CORSAIR AI1200W PSU and it does not fit insde Avalon case. I want ship Avalon in the original box as
itīs strong, but PSU does not fit inside either it. So, you need to get own PSU. Any standard 900 - 1250W ATX power supply will work fine
as long as you will plug all power wires before you run the Avalon. This is not a joke - if you do not connect all power cables it can basicly melt some wires and
damage seriously Avalon.

*Only BTC accepted
*International shipping (EMS, UPS or DHL) with insurance fine.
*No warranty, no returns, no support.
*Item location Helsinki / Finland / Europe, pick-up possible, but must be paid in full before.

*I prefer no escrow as the price is likely to be quite reasonable and this needs to be paid / shipped before the friday 6th Sep as Im flying to holiday then.

Im selling as Im now travelling quite much and I do not want leave Avalon unattended for too long periods.
Im on the road now until the 1st sept. sunday evening. Im able to ship this right on the monday 2nd Sept.
I will switch Avalon to Eligius for some time @ 100% speed on sunday evening so, you can see fresh stats.
Can also post some pics.

All reasonable offers welcome. Please PM, but do not waste time with 1btc offers Wink Please allow some time for answers as Im on the road and not able to be online continously. If interested in buy please send PM now!
192  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Do we want to continue to allow varrious vendor hate in here? on: August 26, 2013, 04:16:37 PM
Bascily no - useless and non constructive wasted time.

No luck today compared to the last few days, but sure the luck returns!
194  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 23, 2013, 11:18:05 PM
"Bulk shipping start date - 20-12-2013
200 or 20% of total orders to be shipped per week
Individual deliveries sent out according to order list of confirmed order.
Inspection period after delivery - 5 days

Escrow release terms -
Individual customer confirms delivery of a working unit
Bulk refund if we fail to start bulk ship before 15-12-2013
Individual refunds if orders are not fulfilled within 6 weeks of bulk shipping start date."

So basicly the plan seems to be start ship 20th Dec and refund all escrows if shipping is not started by 15th Dec...  Grin

196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra GoldStrike System Prices to be Released Soon! on: August 19, 2013, 09:56:51 PM
yeah I understand wanting to generate hype, but I don't get the need for a pre-announcement of a price-announcement that in itself is a pre-announcement for the pre-order... Huh

That hype turns into negativity when you fail to deliver and even post a clarification lol. The hype would of been good if right before deadline they posted prices it would of kept the hype going, not this sorry excuse of a failure lol. This just kills anything you had going for yourself plus it damages you beyond repair.

Why would we trust these guys when they can't even take 2 seconds of their time to post something.

Not anymore wasting time for watching cointerra - maybe they will be good supplier in the future, but this is somehow funny. Anyway - if I buy, I will buy new Avalons if they will have those ready to ship within three days at some stage - of course depending on the price Wink

Have to say that I was expecting prompt announcement from cointerra, but basicly nothing - nothing here or their site. Goodbye cointerra.
197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra GoldStrike System Prices to be Released Soon! on: August 19, 2013, 02:40:53 PM
I was waiting for prices of 500Gh/s and 1TH miners... so, maybe KNC at this time if not more info shortly.
198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra GoldStrike System Prices to be Released Soon! on: August 19, 2013, 12:25:13 PM
Prices, please?!
199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Value Estimate of Avalon Miner today on: August 18, 2013, 02:10:13 PM
You could get about 60BTC by selling the unit and then use those funds to order the hash fast.

With your existing BTC income (assuming you got yours around when I got mine) you should have generated enough already to purchase 2 hash fasts with change left over for a cointerra.

There's no reason to keep a machine that wont even pay for the electric used in a couple months except for future collector's value (assuming there will be any).

Wondering also should I sell my Avalon end of this month or september and what price or just mine & store it when no profitable anymore... I found some time ago from my warehouse very old Apple computer and it seems to have quite high value - maybe. I think that original Avalons will have nice collectors value - lets say after ten+ years - if Bitcoing goes well... and of course it would be nice to hold piece of history in that case!
200  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Rack mounted miners? on: August 15, 2013, 03:29:43 PM
Avalon announces at their site coming: "2U 17inch deep server blade slated as Avalon Version 2" and "immediate delivery at mid October 2013" Lets see and what will be the price?!
