183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: March 03, 2024, 11:38:32 AM

Not entirely because banks doesn't need to give back the deposits completely if they go bankrupt and they don't give any kind of financial compensation if your locker stolen in anyway or destroyed in natural calamities. That you obviously knew if you read what you signed while opening your bank account.

But I don't understand those of you who say banks don't have to return all deposits if the money is stolen or damaged. I mean don't we have it saved in our account and we can access it/withdraw it anytime and anywhere? Unless the entire bank is closed due to bankruptcy or a natural disaster that destroys all branches of the bank. But I think it's impossible for that to happen.

If it goes bankrupt, several banks have gone bankrupt, but in my country there is a regulation that all customer money must be insured with a deposit insurance agency. Not all banks have that standard. But the big banks in my country have a kind of insurance that means your money will be safe even if the bank goes bankrupt or is damaged due to natural disasters.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has AltCoins thought you a hard time lesson before? on: March 03, 2024, 11:30:08 AM
The current increments in the crypto markets got my friend regreted after a hard time he faced last year after investing $1,000 on the AltCoin and he lost it all.

I bought several altcoins in 2021. Unfortunately it was the peak of ATH and many altcoins were at their ATH. I bought some altcoins at the highest prices. At that time I thought the price would pump up again and I could make some profits there. But it turned out that some projects were just short-lived hype and to be honest I lost 90% of my investment. I was very angry at that time.

Actually, I still have those coins in one of the exchangers and I haven't checked them in 3 years because I'm really angry. And a few days ago I checked again and there were several projects that were dead. But I have some coins that can save about 30% of my investment. I'm thinking about saving in BTC for now. But if possible I will try to use 10% for 1 or 2 altcoins only.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DID you get portal airdrop? on: March 03, 2024, 11:20:01 AM
Yesterday there was much excitement twitter about Portal airdrop with multiple platforms like Binance, Bitget,L bank listing. I wasn't lucky to participate hence I feel the need to ask. Anyone that got the airdop here, was the stress worth it?maybe this could be a motivator to take these airdrop quest serious

I didn't get the PORTAL Airdrop, but I bought it when it was listed on the market. Now the price has decreased by 10% and to be honest I didn't know that PORTAL had an airdrop. I have stopped trying airdrops because in the past many airdrop projects failed and I have spent a lot of my ETH. But right now I'm trying out some airdrops and I noticed the current airdrops aren't really free. Btw how do people get the PORTAL airdrop? Was this notified in groups or social media?
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling on: March 03, 2024, 11:10:48 AM
Ask yourself these questions and compare the risk in altcoins investment with bitcoin investment, then analyse the risk and give yourself the right answer because to me, there is no coin in this cryptocurrencies space that deserves to be held like bitcoin. Other coins have a higher risk than bitcoin, so you can’t hold it for a long time like bitcoin.

I agree with you. I have my Fiat exit method where I will buy some altcoins in this bull season and then sell them when they get a good price. And I will buy BTC and hold it for a long time. I think it's altseason and it's a good time to coumpunding your money. I will keep holding BTC because I believe BTC will save my money from inflation.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which psychological stage of the crypto market are we in? on: March 03, 2024, 11:02:41 AM

For that, we can say that,  bitcoin as a coin is in a bull position and heading to the next all-time market price that will be a reasonable milestone and we may see that before the next Bitcoin halving cycle.

I agree with you. Currently the price of Bitcoin is breaking its ATH and that will give people FOMO and will cause the market to panic, causing a massive surge in purchases. Currently Bitcoin and Altcoins are in a Bullish stage. Some coins will hit their ATH. I see this season's bullrun being dominated by new coins. It is important to be able to accumulate altcoins and sell them at the right moment. I never hold my altcoins for long. I will sell it and buy BTC for my fiat exit method.

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Identifying Potential Coins for the Bull Run? on: March 02, 2024, 09:37:44 AM
And I believe that when the market is in a bullish trend, everyone will want to have a diversified portfolio. And what is certain is that Bitcoin and Ethereum are safe choices in terms of investment, especially for the long term, and these two coins will always be a priority for investors when the market is bullish. And this is just the beginning because bullishness will actually occur after the halving occurs, so apart from these two coins you also have to choose the right altcoin that has the potential to be profitable when bullish.

But when the market is bullish usually people who want to earn big returns will look for altcoins and will not trade Bitcoin and Ethereum. I agree with you that people will diversify for fear of missing the moment. They will buy potential altcoins with low market capitalization in the hope of making big profits. I personally also use this method. And when the bullish season is almost over I will put all my profits in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: March 02, 2024, 09:19:21 AM
Investing in Altcoins had been what so many invested have been looking at these period. Believing that bitcoin's bull run will surely influence the price of the altcoins and hive them massive gains. Literally if bitcoin rises altcoins follow suit but this is the only reason i see that makes potential investors to invest in Bitcoin. There is no other interest as they feel its unsafe to store value or wealth, cant be used for p2p transactions and it cant be trusted to hodl for long. If you think there is any other reasons that makes investors put their money in altcoins feel free to share. I would love to know.

I agree with you. There is no other reason someone would choose to invest in altcoins other than getting big profits. I think big profits are more appropriate than quick profits. I think meme coins and buying coins in the early selling stage will give you a quick profit. I personally trade altcoins and take profits and invest them in Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin is still the best for storing your funds.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Season of Airdrops? on: March 02, 2024, 09:01:33 AM
I'm interested in the airdrop. But I don't know where to start. I see that some airdrops such as Portal and JUP are not the same as free airdrops which only require doing a few tasks. But to get a potential airdrop you have to spend money to stake certain coins or carry out activities on the network where the airdrop is located. Where can I find out how to learn about Airdrop? I think this year will be a good year for airdroppers because at the beginning of the year alone there were many airdrop projects that gave very good results.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling on: March 02, 2024, 08:50:07 AM
Almost all altcoins are increasing in price and all of them are giving good return but no one will want to sell their bitcoin currently as everyone knows that halving is near and during halving the price will be more than current value and if they sell currently then they will regret during halving..

Currently I use my money to invest in several altcoins and take profit from there. I am collecting profits from various altcoins because now I think we have entered the altcoin bullrun season. And I will use all the profits to buy and invest in Bitcoin ahead of the halving. Altcoins do not give you security like Bitcoin. It's safer to put everything in Bitcoin when the altseason is over.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: March 02, 2024, 08:43:16 AM
Among the most trusted altcoins my choices are Eth and BNB. The crypto industry may be struggling with prices right now but from an adoption and growth perspective it's bigger than ever. Opportunities can be found everywhere you look and if you are looking for the biggest we believe you will find something good with the mentioned projects. There may be more breakthroughs possibly launching in the near future.

You are right but if we want to look for altcoins with good returns then I think ETH and BNB are not the best. The title is the most trusted altcoin but the OP also mentioned 3 other altcoins that I don't think have as good trust as ETH and BNB. So I think this is about altcoins being trustworthy and having good returns. I agree with Arb because it still has a low price and market cap. I like coins that have scalability and functionality like Arb. Other altcoins on my list for now are OP, Zeta, SEI. Does anyone agree with me?
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: March 02, 2024, 08:33:39 AM
Although meme coins will provide huge profits if we choose the right meme coin, it is important to remember and note that investing in meme coins is a very risky venture and can often result in huge losses that end in fraud.
Investing in meme coins is very risky and you must be prepared to bear the losses incurred if you choose the wrong meme coin. Therefore, it is very important to carry out thorough analysis and research, and also always look for the best information for your consideration.

I agree with you. Currently many meme coins have their prices pumped and hit ATH. Nowadays people are starting to pay attention to meme coins because meme coins like PEPE and Floki have given around 100% returns this week. Of course this is a very good result with full returns. But you must remember that meme coins only have a short term and if you miss the moment to buy and take profit when it is hype like now then you will experience losses and it will be difficult to find the moment again. I think investing in meme coins has a big risk.

Let me know your feedback.
I have created an account and want to join the presale. But the problem is that purchases can only be made using the erc-20 network which in my opinion has very high gas costs. I estimate it will cost $10 to purchase SWGT tokens.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wojak - Meme Coin on: March 01, 2024, 06:01:32 PM
Since you posted it and at the price it has now, it is now around 0.00061$ something in terms of its value. Which has increased by 260% something. It looks like I'm thinking twice about investing in Wojak because it seems that he also has potential, although for now it's a low cap.

I can also consider this one of my holdings, and there is nothing to lose if I try because I will only use a small amount of capital to get a profit from it.

Since this post was made, Wojak has had a market cap of $40m, an increase of about 2x from $19m in 2 months. Of course this is something good but since it is a meme coin I think it is still very risky to invest here. I agree with what Sunderland said that basically anyone can make a meme coin. What makes it special like PEPE or BONK is because of the strength of the community and the luck of having some whales invest there. So I still say investing in meme coins must be aware of the huge risks. high risk high return.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Season of Airdrops? on: March 01, 2024, 05:50:44 PM

you should ask airdrop participants how many campaigns they participated in and how many made big money.
Of course, not all airdrops pay their participants well. I'm sure more airdrop campaigns don't pay their participants or even only a small amount.
airdrops should be completely free, like just doing social media work or being part of the testnet project. As long as you don't spend money to make a claim, it can still be profitable even if the results are small.

Yes, you are absolutely right. If we ask Airdrop participants they will answer that many Airdrop projects don't actually pay because they failed in the initial sales stage or experienced problems before launch. They also need to work hard and need luck to get one good Airdrop that pays them a high price. That is if we talk about Airdrop which is completely free.

Currently there are several Airdrops which cannot actually be called airdrops because participants have to spend money to get the airdrop. Participants must stake certain coins or carry out transaction activities that will be accumulated to get an Airdrop. Of course some airdrops like this are successful and make big profits but I think if it costs money then it can't be said to be a true airdrop. Cmiiw
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: March 01, 2024, 05:41:23 PM
Bearish phase has come to end but is not finish for all the time but whenever halving take place people will rushes to sell their bitcoin at higher price as a result of which once again we will see bearish phase. Not only bitcoin but all the coins are getting increase in its price and these are all the effects of Bull season.

I think after the halving Bitcoin will experience a correction because people will sell their BTC to make a profit. But that didn't last long. If we look at the history of Bitcoin prices after the halving, there will be a significant increase after the halving. I think the narrative that says BTC will hit $100,000 this year is actually going to happen. Currently the halving and hype of altcoins has attracted the attention of many people around the world and even several world financial institutions have also begun to enter the crypto market. I think right now we're going to see the biggest bull run in cryptocurrency history.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy to win in this bull run? on: March 01, 2024, 05:31:01 PM
If you want to secure your assets for 2025 I think keeping them in BTC is the best choice because after the ETF approval I think BTC will enter a new phase and the price will continue to rise after the halving. For Altcoins I think currently most of them are performing well. Some new altcoins have huge potential to generate returns. But of course new projects have risks because we don't know their reputation yet. I don't know about the derivatives market because I haven't tried it but I think it is a good option to maximize your profits. By the way where do you trade derivatives? I still don't have an account to trade derivatives.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Identifying Potential Coins for the Bull Run? on: March 01, 2024, 05:21:15 PM
Despite the market's volatility, numerous promising projects have surfaced recently. After thorough analysis, many of these projects exhibit significant potential and are already listed on top exchanges. Tokens such as $MANTA, $ALT, GPT, and $PIXEL have particularly captured my attention.

You have a good coin and potential. But honestly I'm not sure about the Manta and Pixel. I see they have a small circulating supply compared to the maximum supply. This means that if they release coins that have not been supplied into the supply circulation of course it will affect the price and will cause a correction. I identify coins that will have a bull run by looking at what narratives are being hyped at the moment. And I think currently the AI and Defi narratives are the 2 most popular and that will affect the price of coins that have a relationship with those two narratives.
