181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scam Coin On Binance on: February 25, 2021, 08:36:51 AM
That's one of the advantages of using binance as your daily exchange platform. They keep their position as the most reputable and safe exchange by establishing strict listing policies. That makes only trusted projects will be listed there. No matter how much money some projects offered to get listed on binance. CJ also frequently listed many tokens for free if he trust on their project.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment projects ? on: February 25, 2021, 05:39:19 AM
Well you can easily click twice on marketcap button in coinmarketcap website to sort coins by its marketcap.

I have one rule of investment: Never ask for financial advice on the internet. People who answer you will only give you the answer they like. What's that mean? it means they will only ask you to buy on something that they bought or profit/loss before. Without any real reason on why you should buy it. You can't blame them if the coins have no value anymore in the future.
Always do your own do diligence, read more! There's tons of articles and video to watch before putt money on some coin.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't be used for transactions? on: February 25, 2021, 03:45:39 AM
Since 2017 I am no longer treat bitcoin as an alternative currency. I am more treat bitcoin as digital asset for some reason;
1. Any transactions using cryptocurrency is banned in my country.
2. Bitcoin is tradable and it's legalize by the government.
3. It's not fast a currency.
4. It is profitable to hold for long time.

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ethereum changed blockchain world on: February 24, 2021, 06:42:28 AM
- I'd never know anything about initial coin offering (ico) before ethereum was created.
- smart contract implementation on blockchain is perfection.
- Dapp, no more consummer robbery.
- Defi is giving people "financial freedom".

in other words, Ethereum is not only changing the blockchain world. It's changing the whole economic model.

update:
- the gas price, it's suck

Wow it seems there's lot of people got scammed and send money to this address. Maybe people should start report and give a tag to this address on etherscan to prevent more people fell in the same hole.
Please share the instagram link to the OP.

It is a must to doble check the website, social media accounts etc before sending money to any project.
Stay safe.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why ETH dropped 20% from the high peak? Anyone knows? on: February 23, 2021, 01:54:08 PM
After long observation from my old grandpa about cryptocurrency, he is finally make a conclusion : There is no technical analysis needed on crypto market. It's all only fundamentals. And of course that's applies to ethereum as well. Even we keep talking about moon everyday and or the support buy still strong there, the market always determine it's self price. No one really knows what really happen. It's just crash.

I still on my prediction, if ethereum still with these unreasonable gas price, people will move their money to something with acceptable fee. And of course, it is drive the price to the bottom.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: February 23, 2021, 06:46:45 AM
The method called DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging), where you being on hold to do it all (investment) at one time. The opposite of the lumpsump method.
It's all about our mentality of facing the market. We can't predict the market appropriately, that's why I agree with all op has said. Buy gradually, sell in batches.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: COIN PRICES CRASHING!!! SELL BITCOIN NOW!!!! on: February 23, 2021, 01:03:03 AM
As one of many people that late to all in, I honestly hope the price will dip to the bottom so I can fill my bag with that cheap btc. But unfortunately it won't be like that, because bitcoin still have good fundamentals these days.
50k is the new standard.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Warning] Fake MyEtherWallet website on: February 22, 2021, 02:32:56 PM
Years ago I installed an extension named "EtherAddressLookup" on my Chrome browser to prevent from accidentally clicking a fake links. In 2017 there's so many reports about people who are got hacked and lost their eth just by clicking a phishing website that have similar name with myetherwallet.
This extension works very well and blocked all fakes (website, crypto twitter accounts, etc.), Also you can report any domain directly just by clicking one button everytime you enter a fake website.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance as the third largest coin on: February 22, 2021, 05:18:57 AM
The pretty obvious reason in my opinion: Ethereum's fees have been quite high for a while, and Binance Smart Chain(BSC)'s fees are drastically lower. And yes, BSC is like magnitudes more centralized than Ethereum, but it comes to show how a lot of people don't care that much if a certain project is decentralization or not as long as they can make their bets on certain tokens.
It's true. If decentralized platform can't solve that main problem (gas fees) on cryptoverse, people don't care anymore if it centralized or not as long as it gives more benefit using them. Bsc gives solution while ethereum still on the old track (high fees). That's why the price keep mooning. But I don't know, with this hype I still think the current price of bnb is overpriced. Imho
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Does Every Exchange Need To Have Its Own Token? on: February 21, 2021, 10:44:03 AM
I may think that's another way exchange adding some funds for their company. It's all about business. In the other side, we can't say it has no function. It has the same function in all exchanges, to be utility token where you can get benefit for holding them while using the exchanges services.

194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto debit card without kyc? on: February 20, 2021, 01:26:47 PM
You can take a look at Bitnovo and its Bitcard (if they still sell the card). You don't need to verify your identity and don't even need to create an account but the problem is that you're limited to 250€ max per card and need a phone number for the SMS activation. Over 250€ you will need to verify your ID or order a new card.

It works only for European citizens and the card costs 25€ by the way. I believe they also still have the Bitsa card with a membership that doesn't need your ID

It might be worth a look.
It looks very interesting, I'll learn the service and the company first since I know nothing about the company and how legit they are.

Basic Level

- Top up a maximum of €250 (One time top up)
- No need to provide any documentation.
- Valid for purchases in all over the world.
- Without commissions.
Thank you so much, man. This is what I am searching for.
195  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto debit card without kyc? on: February 20, 2021, 09:47:14 AM
You can quite happily spend bitcoin at anywhere which accepts bitcoin directly without having to hand out your KYC, but as soon as you want to interact with the fiat monetary system is where things become more complicated.
Unfortunately not all countries allowing people to do transaction with other currencies except their own country's currency.
I hear you. I understand how that crypto debit cards works. It is act like an exchange everytime we do transaction with the card. Exchanging our coins to fiat in the current rates. That's why they need kyc.
196  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto debit card without kyc? on: February 20, 2021, 05:54:17 AM
You do not need to. You can trade peer to peer on platforms like bisq and hodlhodl; without the need for KYC.
Trading below certain amounts on some centralized exchanges also doesn't require KYC.
No I am mentioning a card that can be use to purchase or pay something in the regular store. Something like binance card.
Of course there is bunch of dex outside there but that's not what I meant.
197  Economy / Service Discussion / Crypto debit card without kyc? on: February 20, 2021, 05:23:37 AM
Is there any crypto debit card provider that can be order without entering kyc? I mean if bitcoin made anonymously, why do we need to expose our identity to spend our bitcoin?
I understand it is requirements from the third party card issuer like Mastercard or Visa. But is there any way or one service like that?
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Blockchain, do you have a cool name? on: February 19, 2021, 01:01:53 PM
Maybe making a contest in bitcointalk forum can be a good way to get a cool name for your project. Beside that you can also gain exposure and trust for your account and your project even before it launch.
You can choose 1-3 winners and reward them with few bucks.
Name is crucial, you need much idea from many heads outside there to find the one that suitable for your project.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Rise Protocol is the worlds most advanced rebase token on: February 19, 2021, 08:36:27 AM
Another defi project that worth to wait or invest imo.
I see it actively liquidate on uniswap with $994,xxx volume 24h. What's the most interesting feature I like from Rise Protocol is they called it frictionless yield. Based on the website it's written :
Quote
2% of every transaction (except buys) is instantly and automatically distributed to all Rise holders. You will see your wallet balance increase with each transaction!
It's clearly written "increase with each transaction!".  It's new for me, not like many defi platform that offering xx% annual and paid minimal per day.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Cardano? on: February 19, 2021, 06:21:17 AM
The first time I learned about ADA in 2018, I am 100% sure it is one of potential project to follow. With the price only 0.0x in that time. Cardabo have big community to support and spread whatever the project development. If Charles can help Vitalik to build an amazing Ethereum, then I am 1000% sure he will made Cardano being more than Ethereum.
