Koinex charges 100 or something, and that too they refund it after verifying the bank account customer links with his account. I never liked zebpay from the very beginning, when they started there was a trollbox kind of thing giving real time feed on transactions happening which included information which identify the person, I am talking about real pictures/name etc.. I felt it was kind of dumb and really defeats the purpose of the whole idea behind crypto currency.

I personally use coinome and I am very happy with the rate + withdrawal and support etc.. Sometimes instant withdrawal gets stuck on 'pending', but usually gets cleared within 3 or 4 days max. I use this exchange as much as i can because of their instant withdrawal feature.

188  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: June 16, 2018, 06:24:03 PM
Does anyone has got his telegram or something?

Its really bothering after three weeks without any payout and also manager being not online since June 10th. (!)

@TheMadZ

This is his telegram id (Source: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature Anti-Spam Campaign Managers)

I tried to message him via telegram but it seems he is last seen on June 4th. I don't think he will just take a break now as he is responsible for running this campaign and that he is escrowing $150k+ in tokens. I don't know, may he got unwell or something, 3 weeks without payment is justifiable only if he had given some kind of update on the situation - which is a reason to worry. I hope this get sorted out soon.

CNBC writes that according to a report published Feb. 21 from investment research company Bernstein, the four-year-old Bitmain reportedly made between $3 and $4 billion in operating profit in 2017, whereas Nvidia, founded 24 years ago, made about $3 billion during the same period.

A company that makes more profit than tech giant like Nvidia, cannot afford to hire top level security experts to keep their systems away from hackers. It is infuriating really, these hacker scumbags now have all my info including my address and phone number. WTF Bitmain?

Yes I am not surprised by this at all.

Even after they got hacked and all that info was leaked, they barely provided an update. They didn't even specify what exactly was leaked out. All they said was some database got hacked.

Given how poorly their website was designed and operated and same with their bad Antpool, I am not surprised that it was easily hackable.

Pretty much all their products are half-ass assembled and produced. Nothing quality like the old Antminer S1/S2/S3 they used to make.

Very true, they are in the business because of greed and nothing else, they don't give a shit about their customers. I checked their website to see Antminer D3 on sale for around 300 dollars, I remember the price when it released was 2699USD (excluding psu/shipping). May be I am judging too quick, but thats an insane price drop. It is just ridiculously unfair to those who bought like 100s of these during release.

@Myoddz thanks for the explanation. I was not aware of this.

Thanks - Why isn't supply known? How can you calculate the circulating supply?

It is possible that the forum account have been sold to someone who is trying to pump and dump the coin, there is no block explorer, no information on an official wallet other than saying coming soon in their website. The "official website" feels very shady because my browser gets slow and unresponsive every time I open it, I am sure it have script that mines some other coin - there isnt any other logical explanation seeing all the red flags already.

Don't waste your time here.

Still if a senior member is pointing out, I checked your trust summary to learn and correct my error if I made any.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=860161

I saw there are many red marks and few ppl even called you a scammer. It is my request plz comment meaningful in the forum. Not to demoralize other junior members.

Accusing me of scamming other members itself shows how much attention you really give to the forum and its content. Those red marks are being 'sent' by me as feedback to people who scammed or made an attempt. You can see there are no feedback sent towards me as a result of some suspicious or malicious action by me such as trying to scam.

Also, There are at least 10 threads discussing about the latest news regarding RBI and BTC in India.
Here are few of them:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3278263.0 (Should Bitcoin be banned in India?)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3638186.0 (The Great Indian Blockchain Migration has begun)

I had no intention demoralize you and I apologize if my comment seem condescending. I only suggested to check all latest posts before making new topics intended to discuss about same topic.

195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Breakthrough at the 2018 World Cup in Russia .Yes or no ? on: June 14, 2018, 07:03:34 PM
Well, if people offer products for BTC and accept BTC for services, we will see a bull run. I don't think Russia is against BTC or crypto in general as much as other govt. like India or China.

Also, the whole sportsbook and anonymous betting can be easily done through BTC so thats a plus.

hi there,

i in no way get hold of a users private keys. if someone wanted a name, then i transfer full ownership of the name to their wallet. i only ever know the wallet address that I have to transfer ownership to, that is all, and theres no way i can find out private keys or seed phrase at all, ever.

I hope this allays your fears.

Please explain how this is done and how you can assure the buyer that their private keys are safe and not exposed to anyone except them. That will be great starting point and will probably get you more sales also.
198  Local / India / RBI will Regulate Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in India on: June 13, 2018, 03:55:30 PM
After the long wait in the cryptocurrency, finally, RBI has something that they cannot deny. RBI will allow cryptocurrencies within the country though there will be new regulations that will be applied.

On Wednesday, around 12 pm IST, ET Now posted an article, mentioning that RBI will lift of the ban on cryptocurrency and will allow trading in cryptocurrency.

Indian companies inquire all the time in my blockchain domains, they are great programmers and would be a valuable asset to blockchain technology,
the government of India seems to be going backwards when it comes to this nascent technology.

Nothing wrong on part of RBI directly banning Cryptocurrency before Research. They don''t have resources to understand this Technology called blockchain as well as crypto.

Not really true, RBI formed a "blockchain committee" to study the technology and how it can be applied.

News about blockchain committee published on The Hindu (Jun 25 2016)
200  Local / India / Reserve Bank of India Admits Issuing Crypto Ban Without Research on: June 13, 2018, 07:01:47 AM
RBI, the central bank of India, has not made a proper effort to thoroughly research the nature and usage of cryptocurrencies before issuing its crypto ban. This is according to a reply sent by the bank to a Right to Information query filed by a lawyer. Copies of the communication have been distributed on social media and published by local crypto outlets.
