Because majority of the altcoins are trading in pair in btc as btc has most of the gateways to fiat that's why. It's also the bridge to the real world imo so they will really depend on btc. One thing for sure, as many exchanges accept other crypto, I won't be surprised that btc will be replaced as the primary pair for other altcoin someday.
This is true, and honestly speaking one of the major things reason why some of the government in the other country hate and not allowing it to enter to their country was that they are centralized while bitcoin was decentralized. Which means, they won't get any benefit from it. |

I definitely agreed that bitcoin has a big future, which means we don't need to worry about its price.
We have so many things that we may experience for it in the near future. If you are going to look at its price 2019 it was below 100$ and now 3k$ almost in the market where in 2017 it reached 19500$ which means it will get higher in the near future, we just need to stay on to that beliefs.

I cannot determine how many times but its been said many many times. I think its already intentional why they've always mentioned it here in the forum due to make people get panic and will sell their bitcoin holding in the exchange platform, or in short its just a FUD or spamming something like that. |

I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800. I dod not tell her. This house was paid off in full. Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job. I don't think that holding it now is a bad idea, don't look at the bad scenario of the present value that has it now. Instead, you better take advantage the opportunity to buy them now while the price was in cheap value, before its too late. Remember, regret always comes at the last. As for the stock market, the stock markets went through a multi-year bull market. A bear market was pretty much inevitable.
The thing is, all you can do with BTC is convert it to fiat. You can't actually do things with it. There is talk of another financial crisis coming. Surely people should be stocking up on BTC, not ditching it. Without converting bitcoin into fiat I guess it can't be called as digital currencies. But because of the unique and strong features where bitcoin it has lots of people all around the globe patronized it so fast, until a years pass by and now the price value of bitcoin is too expensive each though, I can consider it its cheap now compare 2017 price value. However, since we are now in bad shape situation it is better for us to remain bullish for awhile. |

When we speak about Bitcoins, most people use it because of less fee in terms of USD and for smaller transaction sizes, it'll be surely profitable, but when it comes to buy/sell spreads over centralized exchanges to redeem our fiat out of crypto, are we really getting what we should get? There are many users who don't do wire or any high-profile banking to save over fees, but is it really profitable at the receiver's end that when they try to sell over such exchanges, they get ~2 - 5% less based on the policy of the exchange and some based on users' rates (like localbitcoins)? When we receive money in crypto from our clients, should we really consider it a good deal (I know BTC value is volatile, but then, I'll need to wait for it to reach my expected value over sell side)?
For whatever reason why the market is in stage of downfall, that is because market was too difficult to predict what could be its price, it is probably due to the fluctuation was too aggressive, we don't know when traders going to buy coins or sell coins too. I think my luck is very bad. I can not earn good profits on cryptocurrency trading any day. An example of this is Doge coin. I invested in Doge coin probably 2 months ago. Which I bought 39 satoshi and bought a total of 126000 doge coins. It was almost 2-3 weeks, I did not check the price. But when I check price on coinmarketcap a few days ago, see Doge coin 100 satoshi cross. After that I was very happy. But when I login into exchange, for selling Doge coin, I was shocked, seeing that my coins were sold in 49 satoshi. I did not remember when I had a sell order. After seeing that I was upset. That was not the first time, before several times, I could not sell many coins at a good price 😞
But finally, an education has realized that if you buy a coin for long or short time, then you should check price minimum one time every day.
In the first place, if you are going to go in trading never put in your mind that the profit you can get it in there would depend on your luck, it was a bad idea and mind setting as well. That's the bad side of side there is pump and dump happened most of the time in the exchange dude. |

I bilieve that in the future crypto currency will not replace fiat money as mode of payments in the future. Why? Because this two currency have a unique combinations that make our life more secure and convenient transactions trough offline and online transactions.
1.Crypto currency is more secure and faster transactions than fiat money via long distance and transactions like sending money around the world crypto is fast, safe and more secure then fiat money in this case fiat money is not good and slow in long distance transactions.
2.Fiat money is more faster and more easier in hand to hanp, face to face transactions and offline transactions in this setuation crypto currency is not good.
This 2 reasons why crypto currency and fiat money will be a powerfull combination in the future.

In my opinion, money is something that to provides the needs of our family. Life is more comfortable if we can buy what we need to. We are very thankful in bitcoin because we can earn extra income. It is in our hands on how to spend money.
If I am going to look at it, money is the secondary things important to get all we need now in this world. That's why there is a greedy person, and money can make the individuals to become a good and bad person too. But this is depend on us of how we are going to handle it either we control the money or the money will control us. |
