181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burstcoin | Efficient HDD Mining | New Version 1.3.6 | Assets | CFs on: August 09, 2018, 03:39:03 AM
Burst community, this is our time to put more work in making the project known to the general cryptocurrency community. Follow what I do. I am asking many small exchanges and small gambling sites what their requirements are for including small value coins.

With that said, if they respond, we should ask them to give Burst a try. Burst has already survived many trials, we shouldnt give up on it.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decisions decisions on: August 07, 2018, 04:00:19 AM
If you had $10,000.00 dollars to invest in one
Cryptocurrency and had to hodl until 2020
which one would you buy and why?

Do you want to take a risk and be a millionaire by 2020 or will you be satisfied in turning that into $30,000? If you choose the riskier proposal then I would put this forward for your consideration. Burst.

The Proof of Capacity Consortium and our community has the ambition of taking Burst to the top 10 in market value. That would be over $1.00 per coin from today's price.

But you should do your research. If you want more information I can post here or contact you directly in your inbox.
183  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: COINSTORE | Crypto Merchandise Store | Special Offers, Giveaways and more... 🎈 on: August 07, 2018, 03:51:39 AM
CoinStore Rep, how do you choose to include a coin in your online store? Do the developers of a small but promising coin have to contact you and apply or will you only do it under your own diligence? Ty.

If you are open to suggestions I can contact you privately or post it here.
184  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am looking for blockchain projects to work on on: August 07, 2018, 03:46:09 AM
No Rest Labs, we in the Burst community are always looking for new developers who want to help build tools for the project, or contribute directly in Burst itself. Do not hesitate to contact the PoCC developers if you want to collabrate with them. Ty.

But Bombardier, there is a new mining pool for beginners and small plots.

https://burst.bitsy.bet/
https://www.reddit.com/r/burstcoin/comments/95730a/burst_mining_for_beginners_small_plots_casual/

This new pool is comfigured for small miners that have only spare resources. Not the miners that have a few terrabytes lying around to play with lol.

Bisq September Market Kick-Start Day [September 20th]
https://github.com/bisq-network/growth/issues/67

What
On September 20th 2018 we will try to get as many people as possible to place offers on Bisq as a way to kick-start liquidity after the summer and also launch the newest release.

Objective
Reach maximum number of offers published during 1 day.

I think Burst is still listed in bisq, right? I will call upon the support of the Burst community to support you. I cant make any promises because I have no influence there. But maybe I can ask someone who does.

Thank you for making bisq.

Thank you very much! Please do.

If we all focus on that date (Sept 20th) we can demonstrate how useful Bisq can be with higher liquidity.

Can you give me where developers and PR people should email or contact you? I already have two people in the Burst community asking where they can send you a message. Ty.

188  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] GRAVIEX Exchange: low fees, fast withdrawals, high security on: August 04, 2018, 03:34:18 AM
graviex, how do you choose what project's coins to list in your exchange? Do you do your own diligencew and research, or do you wait for the developers to contact you?

With that said, are you also open to suggestions from the community? Ty.

They do have a voting system currently in effect. Here: https://graviex.net/listing_requests/new
In order for a specific coin to get listed, one has to reach a minimum of 3million GIOs of votes. 1 GIO = 1 Vote.
More information can be found here: https://graviex.net/documents/listing-policy

Its not worth the Burst community's effort to run a campaign and vote to have our coin listed in an exchange that lists scams like "Bitcoin Adult" or "B2X coin". Voting can also be faked.

Its the exchange choice to list it or not because Burst is a project with good potential ahead.

graviex, for your consideration.

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: August 04, 2018, 03:24:35 AM
Great, but even better if the BURST after Dymaxion hard fork lived more productively.Smiley

Although Burstcoin has been used for over 3 years, it is still unknown to many people. I do not hold it, but my cousin believes that BURST is great. Here is the video about the alt:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DfPCORgTLw

Many people dont know about it because the community is small, and in that small community, many are not putting in the effort to help "spread the word" about it.

But that will change soon once soon. I know there are services that are interested in Burst.

Alexkazaam, you will not get anything in this old thread. This is obsolete. You should go to /r/burstcoin on Reddit and post there. Thats where all the miners, developers and the marketing people are in Burst. Ty.
191  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] MapleChange.com - KYC Canadian-based Cryptocurrency Exchange on: August 03, 2018, 03:51:43 AM
ItsFlavy, how do you choose a project to list in your exchange? Do the developers need to apply to you or do you do your own due diligence to research what projects are worthy to list?

With that asked, are you open to suggestions from the community? Ty.

We explicitly ignore all coins whose developer has not directly applied. The reason behind this is because listing random coins off the internet will start raising red flags. As such, a developer from every coin must apply to us, we will review the application and get into contact with them should we feel the project meets our standards.

Okay, and ty for the reply. I assume all the contact details can be found in your site?

Anyhow, I see that there is a BTC0.75 listing fee. Is that the same on all the coins you list or would it depend on a coin's market value? How much would you charge for a low market value like Burst? Ty.

The fee was 0.075 actually Tongue We've already gotten in contact with a PR of Burst.

Okay, that was a typing error lol. But good news that you are in contact with Gadrah or Nixops now I assume. Theres many more to come from the project's development but we also need the support of services and exchanges like yours. Ty.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Upcoming economic crisis - crypto safe haven like gold or not? on: August 03, 2018, 03:42:02 AM
The economic development of the United States is very healthy, the dollar is hard to collapse, and the trade war between China and the United States may lead to the collapse of China's economy!
The high volatility of cryptocurrencies also has the potential for bubbles, and only gold and silver have real storage value!

I don't know what your sources are, but America is not doing that well. There are some short term economic patch ups done, but China owns 1/3 of America's foreign debt. Which means China has the power to influence the dollar at will. Peter Schiff was one of the few who predicted the crisis in 2008 and says there will be another 1 in the next 3 years. I'll say that America is gonna look for another war to cover up the upcoming crisis, but that's just me speculating

China has the power to manipulate the dollar but it wont. They are not willing to go to war with the nation that has the greatest military might in the world. Its more prosperous to cooperate in peace and through negotiations lol.

The trade war will be to the advantage of the Americans and we will see that in 10 years.

Is rico666's original Large Bitcoin Collider dead? There was so much activity on it before, but after the FUD that there was a backdoor in it, I think the users got scared.
It still running bro. https://lbc.cryptoguru.org/stats

Most people abandoned the project when they figured out the created could change the code without their consent.

I disagree.  It's still running, but seems to have less and less people running the clients. There was a core group for quite a while, but the biggest member left several months ago.

Probably the biggest thing that is contributing to the demise is Rico focusing his programming efforts elsewhere.  He's not updating the client any more, not fixing any bugs, and pretty much doesn't visit the Discord channel any more.  He's essentially abandoned the project himself.

Yeah he has been very busy developing on Burst and also trying to revive the project and take it to the top 50 in market value. Its a very ambitious goal but him and his team will be rewarded well if they can do it.

rico666 is doing an excellent job on Burst thats not reflected in its market value. If you are a fan of rico, support us in the Burst community.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Upcoming economic crisis - crypto safe haven like gold or not? on: August 02, 2018, 03:53:44 AM

There are enough signs that an economic crisis is going to happen soon in the next 3 - 5 years.

Whether China's bubble will burst or the dollar will implode.
Do you guys think crypto will be as good an investment as gold in time of crisis?

There will be no "economic crisis that will be so bad" that will make the world economy suffer hyperinflation. The Keynesians have already learned that to mitigate an economic crisis is to pump as much fiat in the system and the tax the consumers more later.

It has been working and it will work for the next 1000 years until the people are so taxed
and so poor.

Are you also open to suggestions from the community? I have a coin to suggest if you are open to discussion.

198  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade War Casualties: Factories Shifting Out Of China on: August 01, 2018, 03:32:14 AM
Why the trade war? Why not Chna lower their tarrifs on US goods that they are reliant on and so the US will do the same on Chinese goods that the Americans a reliant on?

Donald Trump wants more fairness in international trade. If they cant accomodate fairness then its fair that the US raise their tarrifs to make up for the high tarrifs made on American goods.

Miners, how much does mining cost you to mine 1 Burst if based on the average electricity rate in your country? Is it lower than $0.01 or higher?

Did anyone make that kind of calculation before?

200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BURST SPECULATION, the next big thing [100x in 1 year!] on: July 30, 2018, 04:34:25 AM
I used to mine Burst and believe in the project. I would love for them to turn it around but I just don't have faith anymore, even with this news. The pettiness and drama in that community was toxic. There seemed to be scammers around every corner. The wallet was broken garbage which may have been fixed by now but updates were rare back then.

The proof of capacity mining is a great idea but you get the same problems as proof of work just with less energy usage. Big players buy tonnes of storage and small guys like myself mining with 5TB have to join a pool and then get so little in payouts that it is not even worth it. Not to mention that most of the mining pools were constantly getting DDOSed.

Sorry for the FUD but I just wanted the unaware to know what Burst was like from my perspective. Despite this, I truly hope the developers can succeed. Maybe then my remaining 850 Burst might be worth something.

The pettiness and the drama are behind everyone in the community now. Most of the people are also new to Burst because of the take over of development by the PoCC. They have made the software lighter, faster and better compared to the old code.

Try using the new client and you will notice a big difference.
