181  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's imagine you were the president of your country, How would your Economic on: June 22, 2023, 04:29:05 PM
the current global economy affects all continents and countries to varying degrees. To address this, an intelligent president could establish an institution dedicated to analyzing the world's economic state, its impact on the country, and methods to prevent future economic crises. This institution would assess current economic conditions, identify risks, and propose proactive measures to safeguard the economy. It would also promote international cooperation to collectively address global economic challenges and foster sustainable growth.
182  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tinubu's plan for Blockchain and eNaira is appealing despite lacking details. on: June 21, 2023, 05:30:06 PM
Now make dem just imagine how e go be if dem show the sector small love, like empower youths dem so dem go learn well and get small funding center to they help new start ups. Tinubu enter office today, if him wan fail for any promises wey him talk, make him no fail for this one because person fit craze, I dey expect am to lift both the bans on Bitcoin and cryptocurency in general. Make dem no make the country toxic to all this blockchain project instead make dem welcome dem so dem fit based here and when dem based here, na better job creation dem dey bring so and boys go fit commot streets come work legit work wey go fit pay them welle.

He met with the outgoing CBN Governor today at the villa; as we all know, Tinubu was not a big supporter of the E-naira, cashless policy, and Naira redesign projects; hopefully, the next Governor is not someone who believes bitcoin was created out of thin air, as the current CBN does. The lifting of the ban on crypto transactions will not happen immediately since there are more pressing concerns with the CNB and banking industry that must be addressed first. If I were you, I would lower my expectations on crypto ban lift..
I lack interest in the recent decision by the country to lift the ban on cryptocurrency. Currently, most transactions are smoothly conducted through peer-to-peer (P2P) methods, and I fear that removing the ban will subject traders to stringent regulations imposed by exchanges. This may have adverse effects on P2P transactions, leading to increased transaction fees and heightened monitoring of traders' activities. Furthermore, the implications of the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) decision are not being adequately discussed. It raises concerns about the fate of traders under a government that has been making questionable decisions in recent times.

184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Importants of PSYCHOLOGY in a trader on: May 14, 2023, 09:49:40 PM
Controlling one's psychology is essential in trading, especially in the crypto field. Traders who cannot control their psychology tend to act hastily, lack a clear strategy, and may give up on trades quickly. However, mastering one's psychology takes time and experience, and it is not uncommon for new traders to struggle with this. Those who can control their psychology will have an advantage in trading, as it requires discipline, patience, and a clear strategy.
185  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it time for Old Signature campaigns to redesign? on: May 14, 2023, 03:08:45 PM
As far as I and others have noticed, there is a flaw in many opening messages. Although it was fixed two days ago, it has resurfaced. What caused this flaw to reappear? Has it been discussed in any thread? What steps are being taken to address it?
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My experience with memorizing seed phrases on: May 14, 2023, 02:48:55 PM
There's a well-known saying that a dull pencil is mightier than the sharpest mind. It highlights the importance of writing down ideas even if one is confident in their memory. Additionally, certain health conditions can adversely impact one's memory. Unless you commit to using a seed phrase every day for the remainder of your life, it's doubtful that you'll be able to keep the memory completely fresh for life.
187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 13, 2023, 08:02:10 PM
I hold a personal belief that involves a trading strategy employed by old traders. The approach entails initially holding fiat currency, followed by stable coins, then bitcoin, and finally altcoins, before repeating the cycle. The primary goal is to leverage bear markets to acquire bitcoin, and subsequently, other altcoins. However, it's crucial to note that fiat currency remains the dominant currency, and it's advisable to keep it in your bank account for safety purposes
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 05:53:11 PM
For instance, just last week, Everton, who were in danger of relegation, delivered a stunning victory over Brighton, who had previously defeated Manchester United.
Please, take a look at the results from the last five matches. leeds were only getting a draw from five matches. Newcastle is in the top positions right now and it was there caused by newcastle has great performance in EPL unlike leeds which was sitting at the relegation zone.

What you have said was true for not to underestimate an opponent, but someitme you must also try to take a look at the statistic between two clubs that will be clashing very soon.
Newcastle is farr better compared with leeds. It's gonna be an easy win for newcastle. Leeds is also the worst team in EPL after soton. I can take a conclusion if newcastil will be winning the game easily against leeds.
1.61 for newcastle is very good odds with very high chance to win against leeds. Arsenal had defeated Newcastle in the previous match, but Leeds was not Arsenal. People with normal sense will pick newcastle over leeds. Believe me, newcastle will win without a tough game against leeds.
I hope you have a chance to catch today's games and see my predictions come to fruition. It's impossible for any team to feel confident about being unbeatable until the end of the season. Additionally, with Leeds having a new coach and Sam Allardyce's proven track record in the league, there could be some unexpected surprises in store
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 07:52:06 AM
I have seen the schedules for this weekend seems mostly strong teams will met weak teams and one of them is Newcastle who today will fight against Leeds and not necesarry to compared because obviously Newcastle is more better than Leeds and just look at to Leeds records recently they got 1 points from 5 latest matches and Leed have conceded 15 goals so this is poor records

Newcastle has just slipped last week but it was from Arsenal one of the strongest team in premier league and today i think Newcastle will be able to beat Leeds without any problem and the odds for Newcastle also quite decent for me @1.65 however the competition for champion league zone is very tight currently especially after Liverpool appears as one of the strong candidate and Newcastle shouldn't be slipped because if they draw or even lose then possibly their position will be out from top 4
As the season draws to a close, it's unwise to underestimate any opposing team as some are fighting hard to secure a spot in Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League, while others are battling to avoid relegation. These teams tend to put in extra effort and we've witnessed many surprising upsets in the past. For instance, just last week, Everton, who were in danger of relegation, delivered a stunning victory over Brighton, who had previously defeated Manchester United.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: May 13, 2023, 07:44:44 AM
NFT will be last forever but the hype for the NFT gonna be last for shortterm. As you can see that how many NFT being created in the past during the hype of opensea and these NFT's value have been dropping so hard till now.

NFT will always exist caused by it used token as identification but it will have no value anymore as the hype will be gone.
NFTs have not provided any compelling reason for me to revisit them, as I view them as a failed idea. However, if the claims that they are being used for money laundering are true, then the use of NFTs for this purpose is evidently effective, as it allows for the seamless transfer of funds.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: May 12, 2023, 09:52:41 PM
Often, counterarguments fail to reveal the truth, and it's unnecessary to generalize our opinions. Investors can still make profits despite limited chances, and many holders can manage risks by trying it out.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: May 11, 2023, 09:39:56 AM
I totally agree with you, USDC is been backed 100%, even though USDT have been in the loop for a very long time
Can you confirm that Tether has a 100% fiat backup? I doubt that Tether requires such a backup and I'm certain they don't have it. Therefore, it's essential to verify this information.
193  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: May 11, 2023, 03:50:27 AM
I liked the design of the vbetFTN casino. But I did not find my favorite slots from Push Gaming and Relax Gaming.
Can interested individuals suggest their kind of games?
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: May 11, 2023, 03:45:53 AM
Currently, we find ourselves without any alternative to Tether. Regardless of our personal preferences, we are constrained to it due to its status as the stablecoin with the largest market capitalization and liquidity, as well as its presence on major blockchains and exchanges. Tether's influence is growing, and it has become a reputable household name for stablecoins, as evidenced by its substantial profits in the first quarter of this year, which were three times higher than the previous year.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: May 10, 2023, 08:22:43 PM
While I do not currently have a favorite, if I were to choose, I would base my decision on certain factors such as liquidity, number of exchanges, community size, number of listings, and social media presence.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS BITCOINMARIUS? on: May 09, 2023, 02:04:31 PM
It's worth noting that Bitcoin has faced numerous competing project ideas in the past, many of which ultimately failed. Additionally, there have been Bitcoin hard forks that were once in the top 10 on CoinMarketCap but have since dropped out of the top 200. The historical record suggests that this new idea may not have a promising future, and it may struggle to gain traction, let alone thrive. However, it's important to keep an open mind in this space, while also being mindful of managing risks appropriately
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin a good option for a beginner in Cryptocurrency? on: May 08, 2023, 11:00:03 PM
Am a newbie I need more detailed clarification and explanation from senior colleagues here on the best Cryptocurrency to invest on whenever i have the funds and how to go about it.
As a newbie, the only coin I will advise you invest in is Bitcoin and no other cryptocurrencies, because due to the high volatility of altcoin, and lot of scam token or coin, I just can't advise anyone to invest in an altcoin that may likely fade away with time, unlike Bitcoin that has proven to be the best coin and best option for long-term investment which is far more better than most of these altcoin that has low volatility compared to altcoin.

Altcoins still offer several advantages over Bitcoin, such as a lower entry price, higher volatility (especially for altcoins with different blockchains), and the potential for higher returns compared to Bitcoin.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets Brain storm on how to limit losses... on: May 08, 2023, 09:05:34 PM
Another approach to combat greed is to establish a plan for when to stop buying into the market once Bitcoin surpasses its previous all-time high. At this point, you can begin devising an exit strategy by setting specific prices for selling all your coins and placing the necessary orders.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 07, 2023, 09:29:51 PM
Sunday's gossip:

Paris St-Germain's Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, a deal which would see 33-year-old Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo, leave.
PSG want Messi to stay and have presented him with the best financial offer available from a Champions League club. So the Messi saga continues. What will he decide in the end? Will he stay at PSG or will he go to Saudi Arabia? Or go back to Barcelona? Emotionally, he is certainly most connected to Barcelona, but financially?
Newcastle's Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 25, is set to sign a new contract which would make him the highest-paid player in their history. The richest club in the world is clearly not saving on players this year  Grin
Brazil winger Raphinha, 26, would consider leaving Barcelona this summer. Arsenal want the former Leeds player, with Chelsea and Newcastle also interested. A lot of interested clubs, but what will Raphinha decide in the end?
Tottenham may have to pay Bayern Munich £10m in compensation to secure Julian Nagelsmann as manager. It seems to me that Bayern made a very big mistake in this case and almost ruined their season.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/65511685
At the moment I think it is becoming more clearer that a move is most likely because of how much tension it is causing. I also feel Lionel Messi is no longer enjoying his stay at PSG which gives one option and that is a possible departure at the end of the season but where his destination will be is what I can't say for now, hopefully we will hear something at the end of the season.
I believe that managing top-tier players, especially those who have received the Ballon d'Or award, can be quite challenging. They are often the highest-paid players and may be resistant to being benched. Moreover, they may have lavish lifestyles and desires to spend their money freely, but the demands of football do not always allow for such indulgences. Messi has previously stated that he has had to cancel many trips due to similar issues, and he is now unable to do so. These players are the ones who finance such luxurious lifestyles, and it is essential for them to remain committed to their profession.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 07, 2023, 08:53:44 PM
Relocating to another country is a complex process that requires careful consideration. It involves taking into account various factors such as the potential host nation's capacity for growth and development, linguistic proficiency, employment opportunities, and the costs associated with the move. I find it disheartening that some individuals view migration as an escape route without any intention of returning to their homeland, leaving behind their loved ones. It is important to remember that no country is perfect, and conducting thorough research is necessary to ensure a successful transition.
