With the three exchanges ( Vircurex, Coins-e & Cryptsy) trading Dogecoin...

Vircurex is the better of the 3 exchanges so quite naturally the big orders

Are most likely to come through the exchange that has the least problems.

We have all had our fair share of experiences from cryptsy... Problem after problem
Its been that way for months now.

@147 million dogecoins. .. Either someone truly believes in dogecoin or havent
Tooken their medication today

That's a $48,000 buy.  That's a lot of belief or a lot of D&A Undecided

I'm with you on p2pool.  Consistent payouts straight to your wallet.  I was introduced to it with DOGE and never looked back.  Earnings are ~10%-20% higher than regular pools in the end.  And don't forget the TX fees the p2pool gets too.

Quantity[DOGE] 147,956,187.9503

[DOGE/BTC] 0.00000050

VolumeBTC 73.9781

Someone put this order in on vircurex.com

Makes you wonder, if DOGE is really going down, why someone would do this.
Maybe Fontas or the Chinese have shown up.  Either way, someone thinks this is the bottom.

Pool upgraded to new wallet and coinreward.

Join:

Keep it up and running and I will be there 24/7 for a while at least.  Thanx

Are the pools using the latest update?
Have tried a few and payouts seem to be pretty low for a coin paying out average 2.5 million per block.
Agreed, this payout does not seem to be the 5X what doge was.  I mined doge in the beginning starting at about block 800, right where we are now and was getting over 2 million a day.  Estimate right now is only 350,000.

Is nogleg.net:1911 p2pool?  Looks like it.

Important read for true exchange value of dogecoin,

alright using coin produced dogecoins value should be around 142 on the exchange. It is definitely oversold at the moment.

As an example dogecoin will have 297 time more coins produced then feathercoin, if you divide feathercoins exchange value / 297 you get over 140 value for doge and this coin
has far more hype behind it!

So yes people stop panic'ing the coin is currently selling 3 * less it's true value. It's a buying oppertunity!
Holy crap Tongue If coinedup didn't screw up, they are selling for .0000170

Of course Dogecoin will loose a lot of value when all multipools are cashing out $ 98,902.69 average per day.  Grin

If your logic is correct, they shouldn't sell because it will rise, so let them sell at loss and make a profit Wink

Selling a mined coin essential means distributing it further to other and/or non-miners. The long term price of the coin is totally unknown as it depends on how sustainable the development it etc.

And something else about multi coin pools: they stop mining as soon as it's not the most profitable coin to mine.
Someone thinks it's profitable.  There's a 10 million doge buy order on Vircurex at 49 that's been sitting there for about a day now.

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Windows Client importprivkey crashes on Windows 7 on: December 22, 2013, 06:33:03 PM

Hail to the doge-movement. Wow wow!

Thx for the doge windows client v1.2
- but it crashes on Windows 7 when I try:
Code:
importprivkey aprivatewuffkeyofapaperwalletforxmas
in the console.

So how can I give paper wallets to my family when we cannot import them later?

Please someone with Qt abilities help our great windows client programmer.

Enjoy your holidays
Wink

It can take up to 3-5 minutes to importprivkey.  I did 4 yesterday and it it averaged about 3 min. per key.  The one with the most doge took almost 5.

whatever Undecided  If you look at the sites that are accepting DOGE, in the real world the price is rising.  It is averaging about .08-.10 USD in REAL transactions.  That's what counts, not some hocu-pocus tie to BTC.

0.10 USD? Where'd you get that?
I don't know if the link was here or on Poolerino in the chat box, but $5 gift cards are being sold for 3000-3500 DOGE.  Do the math and that's about .15-.17/DOGE.

Did you do the math? 5 usd for 3000 doge is 0,00167 usd per doge Smiley
No, 500 pennies divided by 3000 DOGE = 0.1666666666666667  .166(.17) cents  or in your example .00167 X 100= .167 cents

i'm all for doge, holding. but you are wrong on this one. cause when dividing by pennies you get a result of ~0.17 of cent, and that's ~0,0017 usd

+1

Grin Grin Grin Grin  My doge ran off with the decimal point, thanks for finding it for me Grin Grin Grin

Auto-switching pools are not a danger to scrypt coins, they are a boon as they seek to adequate the mining market with the money demand and supply (through the exchanges).
They are just a boon to miners. But a bane to the coin and it's value.
It depends which exchange they're hooked to.  If it's Cryptsy or Coins-e the price there is lower than Vircurex.  For the most part, the Vircurex sellers aren't going to give their coins away.  Very nice consolidation going on there now.

How long does it take to withdraw my DOGES from cryptsy?
When does the sun burn out?  Not really, but it can take anywhere from 5 minutes to days.

Dogecoin is currently 20 points under aka 30% undervalued atm before it went live on cryptsy, basically it's just miners coming in and selling straight away. The best thing for this coin will be when it's not the most profitable coin to mine then prices will go up.

this

Why didn't I think of that.
