181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 12, 2020, 04:13:56 AM
Miners say that electricity costs are 70-90% of all expenses. If you have the opportunity to buy electricity at $ 0.03 per kW and cheaper, then you can think about buying mining equipment

It is better to make your own mining pool

10-11.06.2020
Transaction Fee:10,668.73185 Ether ($2,613,945.99)
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xca8f8c315c8b6c48cee0675677b786d1babe726773829a588efa500b71cbdb65

Transaction Fee:10,668.73185 Ether ($2,613,945.99)
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xc215b9356db58ce05412439f49a842f8a3abe6c1792ff8f2c3ee425c3501023c

LOL, those transaction fees were crazy. If those transactions really were a mistake then the guy or pool that mined the block must be crazy rich right now.

I just hope mainnet will be live within Q2, i dont like a delay.

Another launch delay and I will be out of this project for good this time because I lost a lot on this project and the mainnet is my only hope to break even on the investment I made.

Would mining on a purchased rig be better over renting one which would at least allow for an owner to switch mining to other crypto in the event ETH 2.0 is a complete failure in terms of making money for him?

What do you think, about rent asic and mining-rigs on https://miningrigrentals.com/
Is there any sense to do mining Ethereum with the current mining-difficulty?
What about ROI of the mining,
and when the consensus will be switched on Proof-Of-Stake, on which block?

If you are looking to sell immediately after mining then no renting rigs will be an expensive affair but if you are willing to wait in a hope that price will go up during the ETH 2.0 FOMO then it could be profitable IMO but the problem is there's no date for launch yet.

Totally agree with @bkbirge here it's better to buy off ETH at the market instead of buying new hardware for mining because once FOMO about ETH2.0 hits mining difficulty will go through the roof.

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xcard a scam? on: June 06, 2020, 03:10:33 AM
What's happening with Xcard? I participated in this bounty campaign and since months ago now everything seem quiet and no one is talking about the project, is Xcard a scam project or a failed project?

I don't know if true or not but they are now saying that their schedule is impacted due to corona-virus scare (at least that's what they are saying in bounty group). I am still not 100% sure whether they scammed us or not though.
Before the pandemic starts in March it was as cold as this on Xcard telegram channel, don't believe that COV19 has anything to do with this, just a simple update about the development is all but none so far. Other good projects aren't bother about this pandemic, they work at home and still update their channels, this isn't a very good excuse

Just checked their telegram after a long long time and I agree with you no new project updates and their telegram is full of scam messages I guess they really are a dead project.

187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 rising altcoin on: June 04, 2020, 04:51:17 AM
I wanted to ask the community which you think are the emerging altcoins of 2020.
We are already halfway through the year and can we have an idea of what the revelations of 2020 were, or was it a weak year for altcoins?
in my opinion 2020 has shown that eth does not give up the second position

Actually TBH alt coins are doing really good this year. Earlier whenever BTC got pumped or dumped all alts coins use to suffer but this time yes they going down but they are also quickly getting back up.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 03, 2020, 05:07:17 AM

LOL I guess this tweet combining with the bitcoin's price dip last night was the main reason why we saw a huge drop in the ETHs price.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: June 01, 2020, 08:02:25 AM
Technology-wise (low fee and all) there's a good chance that Binance can beat ETH but price-wise I highly doubt that BNB will be able to cross ETH price 'coz price of BTC and ETH usually always move together.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CZ and Coinmarketcap on: May 31, 2020, 04:42:05 AM
I knew this day will come, finally CZ changes the rules on coinmarketcap, now all projects are ranked with Liquidity, good bye to fake volume, have anyone else noticed this already?

After reading your post it took me a minute to actually find it but I did. They have also added confidence metric in CMC both of those metrics are really useful IMO.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Altcoins Set To Explode in 2020 on: May 30, 2020, 05:42:21 AM
For BNB: I think it could moon in the upcoming days as the smart chain is already live on testnet once it goes live on mainnet it will go up for sure.

192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Altcoins Set To Explode in 2020 on: May 29, 2020, 05:24:58 AM
For now, I am betting big on ETH with 2.0 coming and the BTC price on the move I really think we can very well see ETH trading at above 320+ level.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: May 28, 2020, 07:10:12 AM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

There's still hope for you. I lost a lot of $ when I was new to futures trading and made a serious of huge mistakes (like using x100 for leverage lol) but so far I recovered almost 90% by sticking to my new trading strategy. Use your remaining funds wisely and always diversify your portfolio.

DOGE is more than 5 years and still, the exchanges are adding DOGE other projects should really learn how to build a community from them.

I liked the fact you guys only have 1M supply and that 2% will burn with the transaction. BTW is the AirDrop for the participants still open or did you guys close it already?
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 27, 2019, 04:02:03 AM
Eth under a 100 dollars is coming

If that happens I will surely try to buy as much ETH as I can because last time I bought ETH at 100 I was able to sell them around 250-280.
