181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: July 18, 2018, 09:44:59 PM
I know that every one of us had this day when we all thought that it's our day but it's not. I myself honestly say that there are still times that I lose control of everything when this happens, I tend to get frustrated immediately (especially when it comes to poker) when I know that I have a losing card. It makes my day from bad to worst. How do you handle your frustrations when losing streak strikes?

Though before I've reached a point in where I'll be having a thought of chasing my loses, I'll leave the table and look for a dessert or sometimes when I bring my car, there's a clothing that I can rip just to let my frustrations out. (It may sound absurd but it really works for me, after that my mind is clear, no frustrations then I'll go back and finish my visit)
From what you saying am convinced that we are all embedded with that inner selfishness which leads us to playing from a good strategy to uncontrollable strategy which makes us make some poor calls all in the spirit of its your lucky day and end up chading your loses and start to play till your pockets are empty Sad
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is Now GREEN, any underlying factor? on: July 18, 2018, 05:45:58 PM
The whole cryptocurrency market is green with bitcoin , the leading cryptocurrency trading , bitcoin is at 7000 USD price.  What is the factor that has caused the price to surge higher ?
To be honest this was already destined to happen, the process was just delayed by some hicups here and there like the recent hack which saw prices almost fall under 6000 dollars as market lost confidence but you know what that's behind us and as you know with crypto what goes down must catapult itself to the top and that's whats happening now.

183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal announced partnerships with BitPay, Coinbase and GoCoin. on: July 18, 2018, 09:59:40 AM

184  Economy / Exchanges / Re: South Africa set to Launch fully-functional Bitcoin ATM on: July 18, 2018, 08:09:06 AM
South Africa is set to launch the first fully functional bitcoin ATM in the nation. Way back in 2014, the country had launched a similar ATM. But the ATM wasn't fully operational and had to be shut down. Read on to know more!

Great news hope this could start a chain reaction and possibly get other countries on the continent to get themselves some bitcoin atms and generally just get involved with cryptocurrencies, crypto is really here to stay Smiley

185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you feel the rise of BTC anytime soon? on: July 17, 2018, 10:46:44 PM
Just today I saw the price rise approximately over 500.dollars and I wouldn't be surprised if prices continue to rise as we are fond of panic buying when there is a bull run, Now that the rise we have been waiting for is here buckle up and enjoy the ride Wink
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to buy altcoins with FIAT money? on: July 17, 2018, 04:49:24 PM
As the title says, I want to know how buy altcoins with FIAT money. Thanks to anyone that helps me.
PS: I want to spend BRL (R$) to buy some cryptocoins, but it could be in USD too. But I rather like the first one.
The easiest way to get altcoins is to buy bitcoins off exchanges such as localbitcoins and if you are lucky you could find someone conviently located near your home to sell you some coins and later on exchange your btc for your prefered altcoin or you could use changelly/simplex as an another alternative as you can buy some altcoins  on this platform using your bank card but be ready for KYC as this is the hurdle with fiat.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 17, 2018, 02:12:24 PM
^  VAR sucks.  It's not football anymore.  I'd love for the game to be pure and still have that human element in there.  It's not perfect, but that's part of what makes spectating it fun.

And it's funny how stupid that ref is if he really got the handball call wrong even with VAR.
VAR is not completely sucks but yeah sometimes VAR is do shit on football, even mourinho says VAR is not that good on football. It's not about killing the momentum but sometimes VAR being used on the bad moment like the final match 2 days ago.
As long as man is involved in decision making there is going to be a problem of human error and we saw some poor decisions been made with the help of VAR which signals the system is still a work in progress but I believe this is taking away the fun out of the spot.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada? WOW! on: July 13, 2018, 04:43:50 PM
My friend in Canada told me that bitcoin payment has been used in KFC. What does that mean?
Despite this being old news, Cryptocurrency adoption was due to happen and its not gone mainstream yet but through various startups large companies will get to be part of the revolution by buying the small tech comes to use this technology in their product and services. But with KFC trying out cryptos other companies will certainly do the same soon
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO for long term on: July 12, 2018, 05:39:46 PM
Without putting into consideration the price of these cryptocurrencies, I honestly don't see NEO challenging as its still unpopular despite falling in the same category as Ethereum unless NEO invests more in marketing this coin it will come second in choosing between the two and in the long term I see Ethereums support base growing massively living Neo in no mans land.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: July 12, 2018, 05:18:33 PM
3000 dollars with the world lined up to support the crypto as its making way for centralized currencies  Roll Eyes

$3000 is a low blow,to the worsrt we might see $5000 but I think with institutional investors on the side lines we might get the relief we waiting for
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of cryptocurrency this 2018 on: July 12, 2018, 10:26:11 AM
Hi everyone, I have read a lot of information and comments about the ETH.. A lot of people are trusting and confident that ETH has a lot of potential in terms of growth. But I also see a lot of comments that it's a myth and that those people who are confident are like that because they are hoping for ETH to bubble up like btc did once before.
Ad far as I know the potential of eth comes from other projects using its smart contracts and not projects/cryptos developing their own blockchains....so as long as ico keep using eth smart contracts translate s into ready support for Ethereum and those myths you mentioned  will remain as such because the crypto market and its users have matured and we wont have those volatile days of crypto as we did before.
Quote
So I would like to know what do you think will happen to BTC, ETH and the whole crypto market this 2018. Is it possible to have a bullish market again?
And a bullish market is unavoidable, its coming hold on to your cryptos!
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: July 12, 2018, 06:58:08 AM
Am not selling but because we have people joining this crypto system with a mentality of getting rich as fast as possible they will sale most of their coins as so as possible but I hope they know that hodling still works as the product which was not there at the time of the ICO is now in the pipeline...it can now support the tokens value with a real product and ensure the coins price grows
193  Economy / Services / Re: Stolen BTC Bounty on: July 11, 2018, 10:25:30 PM
A couple of months ago, almost all my BTC were stolen from my laptop. As I was really upset about it, I decided to distance myself from the forums and everything else, but now that I've decided to come back; I want answers.

The funds have ended up here; https://www.blockchain.com/es/btc/address/1JSmxSp4ULs7bYaQEkoHjQszFcfpFQs6gP, before being separated into 2 different addresses.
Which wallet were you using to store your bitcoins?

I think there is a possibility that your coins were swept and moved to a different address within your wallet and not neccessarily that you got hacked....if it were that coins we stolen the money would not have been dormant by now and coins would not have had a money trail as mixers are well know by crypto users.....

Try your luck and check your archieved wallets your coins might be hiding there.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not blindly trust telegram trading signals. on: July 11, 2018, 09:38:16 PM
Many of the telegram groups which give signals are run by the same people, I have noticed on multiple occasions of the groups giving the same signals. Many of the groups also conduct coordinated pump and dumps, and they usually send it in all the groups to gather a greater audience. Although some of the signals turn out to be correct, always do your own research before making a trade.
The best trading bots to use are those that have the dev teams can be reached easily unlike groups that send out various trading signals which are either copied from some other group or small person/group trying to maximise on their profits as these are usually not free.
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: July 11, 2018, 09:03:39 PM
Its a small price to pay but if you are in a hurry to cashoit big try day trading those small profits after this journey will reward you with good money for the lost opportunity
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 11, 2018, 08:27:50 PM
Wow that was close, thanks for the comeback Croatia !

Looks like we headed for a France vs Croatia finial and judging from the teams game plan I honestly think France has an advantage here, hoping to win so extra cash on picking the worldcup winner and am going with France here; )

197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: July 10, 2018, 05:11:06 PM
This would be a tough game.
Belgium and France both plays aggressive game while both of their defenses are still to be tested.
I think France has a better defense but they are poor in finishing the goal shot which is better with belgium.
+2.5 goal seems safe bet for the game.
Of the two teams I honestly think Belgium has a better defence and attack by far despite France been considered
the favourites for this match and today will be about the team that needs it the most and Belgium happens to be the team that looks more hungry as they displayed their intensions when knocking out Brazil who where among the favourites of the game.
And frankly I don't see France posing a treat in this fixture
My Prediction: Belgium 2-1 France
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What percent of ICO's are scam, on your opinion? on: July 09, 2018, 03:32:55 PM
Is there any statistic about what percent of ICO are scam? Did anyone make some research?
I have not come across such a research buti know that for every 100 ico projects atleast two will turn out to be scams and its very scary for investors that have little knowledge about the right procedure of crypto investments but smart investors know that research is a primary step and investing what you can afford to lose is the secondary step...
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoins valuable? on: July 08, 2018, 05:52:57 PM
In the past and recently, there are some who say bad about bitcoin, that bitcoin has no real value, there is no guarantee of value and assumes that the price will be zero. But everyone should know that the property other things like gold, silver or even money in your pocket are valued by the trust of the people with the central bank. Some countries do not manage the currency like venezuela or zimbabwe paper money fell dramatically. To me, the value of bitcoin is trust in algorithms and trust for network consensus. This belief is very certain because the network of bitcoin is extremely reliable. What is your thought like?
The problem with the Internet is we are free to say whatever we want & wheever we want and as far as crypto goes people will say dimeaning things for personal gain and like it or not this bluff as worked on several occusions.

Am sure those who pass such remarks are desperate to get themselves some cheap coins; )
200  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: July 08, 2018, 11:35:07 AM
Well its possible but the problem is if you want a huge amount as this will subject you to KYC when trying to get some but if coins are already in your possession then its smooth sailing for you 😀 but I wouldn't advise you to do something illegal because the law never forgets your wrong doing; )
Yes, it's possible, even Indian politicians are laundering their illegal money, too.

If these guys have proof why not allow the law to take its course
