same thing goes for a 1070 undervolting I want 2 see it more detail ive tried that with the other miner it hangs and no accepted shares and when I use ebwf miner on nicehash usa it locks me out of usahash after a couple hrs can use it on all the other servers though with no hash rate loss

G1 gaming 1070  (-49% power limit, -1200mhz mem UC, default core clock (boost up to 1900mhz when it can by itself)

= 375sols for 77watt..

HOPE this helps

So you prefer to lose 100 sols/s to save 30 Watts?
Your electricity cost must be realy high.

g1 gaming default tdp = 150watt 150 - 77 = .......................... not sure where your geting 30watts from
They are rated 150W on paper but they really consume 100W average, at least mine do. Well, I have MSIs gaming, dont know
if it matters.

sp_ is doing 500sol/s on his private miner for sale on GTX 1070!

1. Who is sp_ ?
2. Where is he selling the miner?
3. The performance is due to his miner or your settings?
4. Why arent you using the latest NVidia driver ?

Any idea on how to get this miner to stop flagging my Windows 10 Windows Defender?

Open Defender and
Click  on the Gear Setup and
go to "Add a folder exclusion "
navigate (browse) to the folder to be excluded.
add the folder.

Now I am running W10, but want to change OS to Ubuntu. I prefer using Server edition and automation with ansible. My question, how you are reducing power with gui or console? Thanks
Any specific reason why you want to switch from Win10 to Ubuntu?

Автор, спасибо за майнер.
Must mean "Hello, I am new here."  Grin

Unstable and slow performance when you are using RDP.

Don't use RDP to remote to a mining rig like NEVER, RDP protocol will disable any 3D acceleration and turn back your main graphic card to a VGA card. Always use graphic-friendly remote control, like VNC or teamviewer.

No problem if you primary GPU is intel... even better for mining NV cards will not crash so easy if they are not connected to display
Is the onboard video not disabled when you add a dedicated GPU?

Hi, my gtx 1070s can get about 460 sol/s with some oc. Does someone know how many sol/s can a gtx 1080 fe do?? I can buy one at a good price here in my country, is it worth it?? is it at least 20% faster than my 1070s?
575 sols
25% more efficient for an added cost of  50%.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: February 16, 2017, 12:57:41 AM
can i mine eth and monero whit this miner ??
Nope. At least not yet.
For Monero you need AMD's GPUs and Claymore miner.

What is the wattage used? It would be helpful if people posting hashrate with watt. I think hashrate without wattage is useless.

Palit Gtx 750 Ti / 75 Sol/s / 30W / Stock
Palit Gtx 1050 / 135 Sol/s / 50W / OC reduced Power ~75%
Palit Gtx 1060 / 260 Sol/s / 70W / OC reduced Power ~65%

For me Watts are important factor, so I choose to buy 1060. Anyway, I don't know how much I can get from 1070 with reduced power. But in another hand, card price are too high to buy all rig at once for some people.
P.S Does anyone know what will happen if we won't use PCIe power connector for 1060 in such a watts rate? If I good remember, without connector it could serve about ~75W ?

You are going to fry the motherboard.
PCIe delivers 75 w.
6 GPU x 75w= 450w pulled from a 75w source.
For 1070s it's 100w per GPU.

someone knows why this happens?

just having this issue with the newest version.
With the 1070 solver 0 is ok but
with the other cards I would try different solvers.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: February 15, 2017, 07:14:50 AM
How to choose different solvers? --solver

For a GTX 1070
--solver 0

Pretty new to EWBF miner, so anybody can let me know if this miner have command like -tstop 90?
No such command yet.
You can control temp through MSI Afterburner when you install the Fan Control app that comes with it.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: February 14, 2017, 01:26:45 AM
@EWBF:
Would be nice switch.
Ability to Stop/Start a card for troubleshooting.
ex. Press a # to stop that card.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: February 12, 2017, 02:19:27 PM
the new release will be in the next couple of days.

EWBF please stop by more often even if it just to say hello.
It's kind of scary when one invest thousands of dollars in NVidia rigs and do not have any vital signs
from the sole developer of the software.  Embarrassed

EWBF,do you plan new version of the program with any speed improvements?

none dev care about speed, any reason clay is doing speed bumps is optiminer which is atm faster on AMD
Really?
Arent his shares depend on speed?

idk what should i do, i dont see any guide in first post,

drop the :3333 after flypool.org, keep the --port 3333 notation, this fixed it for me

I think that this is a typo on the flypool's site. Also, don't need to list devices if you have just four:

./miner --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --user t1NF6yLUxAAttibU8mzfX86o8aWLcqF38DX.rig1 --pass x --port 3333

I would generate a new address for this rig.
p.s. You are not using the same .rigname are you ?
No, different rig name... and after all this testing I agree that I may need a new t wallet address, as to why I have NO IDEA!@
This is where my newness comes in, is there a way to get a new T wallet address? currently using the zec wallet (ver. 51) through ubunta

Also, I wanted to say thanks to all for the assistance in talking/working this issue out.
Well I am not too savvy with Ubuntu wallets but usually you do that through the RECEIVE TAB of your wallet.
