Just out of curiosity, do any russian merchants actually accept "Novacoins"? It only seems to be popular with russians and on a russian exchange (BTC-E).

This is normal with POS coins. This will be addressed by the dev team at some point. All is working fine, just a warning message, not and error.
Strange...never saw this/such messages with NVC wallet, may be this is because they all are just an unprofessionally modified copypastes of NVC?) Btw, when the hell hobostakes will even work, 20 aug? |

please do not redownload blockchain it wont fix the warning. If you are worried you will not get the stake you are due you can keep wallet shut or set reservebalance=100000 in your .conf

Обсуждать это всегда хорошо, но только делать это надо в спокойной и конструктивной манере, а не изливаясь потоками несвязных мыслей, повторений, оскорблений, логично что это вызвало отторжение у объекта этой критики, а у кого бы не вызвало.
Оффтоп: я конечно не психолог и не психиатор (далеко не), но по-моему у человека налицо некая проблема психологического характера, взять хотя бы эту цикличность повторения одной и той же засевшей у него фразы про "мартышки-повторюшки" и т.д...

Как же трудно тебя читать, ты бы хоть запятые иногда ставил, явные проблемы с формулировкой своих мыслей) Разница между тобой и Бальтазаром - ты считаешь, что NVC был создан для получения % с PoS, стабильного дохода, и это в криптовалюте, да еще и только зарождающейся?! Подход Бальтазара же - и это логично - создать стабильную и устойчивую систему, в которой PoS это не только и не столько источник дохода, а энергоэффективный способ поддержания работы сети, плюс защита от 51% (как я понимаю). Конечно получается так, что он "тренируется на кошках", но то о чем ты жалуешься в виде сайтов и разъяснений для простых смертных наверняка будет потом, когда все будет налажено и протестировано. |

I talked to Balthazar - NVC is just going to have to remain off the list for now. I will see what I can do to re-enable after I add these other coins.

Ну вот, я перестарался и с coinchoose убрали нову))
Отписал sal002, что постоянная/неизменная награда за блок NVC на его сайте не соответствует действительности, а меняется в зависимости от PoW-сложности, он пожаловался что у него нет эксплорера, который это вычисляет, и убрал ее)
Посоветовал ему проконсультироваться по этому поводу с тобой Бальтазар...

You sould consult Balthazar concerning this questions/parameters, as he is the creator of this coin.
Sal, how long your site will be showing wrong block reward for NVC and, consequently, the profitability? Right now its 9.56 NVC, it is not a constant and variables depending on PoW diff. And again, how long will it last, Sal??? Look at NVC block reward, for example, at https://nvc.khore.org/, or http://bitinfocharts.com/novacoin/Your site showing its constant at 10.46, but it is NOT! Now it is 9.39 NVC, and may changing every block. |
