Yup.

This has to be a joke, right? "interblag", "may the coin be with you", "moar monies", "to write high qualety spam mail", "my wallet.dat, my virginity, my family and my mind in teh last few weeks"?
182  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Paying to add RSA/SHA512 padding to a Javascript lib on: May 15, 2011, 04:22:12 PM
sorry that should be:

function sha512func(valueToBeHashed) {
try {
hashObj = new jsSHA(valueToBeHashed, "HEX");
return hashObj.getHash("SHA-512", "HEX");
} catch(e) {
}
}

and you'll need to import <script type="text/javascript" src="sha.js"></script> from http://jssha.sourceforge.net/

Actually, I think you'll want:

Code:
hashObj = new jsSHA(valueToBeHashed, "ASCII");

But I'm not sure.
183  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Paying to add RSA/SHA512 padding to a Javascript lib on: May 15, 2011, 04:08:27 PM
I'm not quite sure what you need, but this library says it supports SHA512: http://jssha.sourceforge.net/

EDIT: Err, I was working on the same code graingert gave, so I'll just leave that to him then.
184  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: English correction on: May 14, 2011, 11:21:11 PM
I'm also interested in this. I could do it for 3 BTC as well (don't want to undersell yrral86). I'm a native English speaker, and love writing.

186  Other / Meta / Re: Switch forum software? on: May 14, 2011, 08:24:58 AM
I have always hated SMF. It feels outdated, I seem to remember quite a few security issues way back when (don't quote me,) it's hard, if not impossible to watch / unwatch threads, and again, it just looks gross.

phpBB is beautiful in my opinion, and I frequently steal their template system for my projects. The front-end is beautiful, the code is beautiful, it's powerful, and it's open-source.

vBulletin and IPB for me will always be out of the question.
187  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: bitcoin address shortener on: May 14, 2011, 07:57:12 AM
I've already done this located here. Unfortunately, I don't have a short URL. Still easier to remember though. In the future when the client supports bitcoin: URI requests, it will automatically pop open a send dialog.
188  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Most Important Bitcoin Client Feature IMHO... on: May 14, 2011, 07:56:04 AM
I was just asking about this today.

I think the client should be GPG signed by multiple developers, and the Bitcoin client should tell you when there is a new update, but not automatically update. It should also provide a quick changelog textbox.
189  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Paraphrasing job is needed. on: May 14, 2011, 07:52:13 AM
I don't think I would be very good at paraphrasing this type of document, so I'll leave it to one of the people above me.

How much are you looking to pay, and can I ask why this needs to be done?

(I'm interested.)

I don't know how difficult this would be until I look at it, and am interested. Could you PM me the document, and I can take a look, see what I can do, and if I can complete claim the reward?
191  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: [Selling] Will draw for bitcoins! on: May 14, 2011, 06:07:54 AM

You got it!

I don't know what he looks like, so I made it up. Does anybody know?
I always imagined him as really old. XD I love his eyes.
192  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Flip For Bits... 50/50 betting game. on: May 14, 2011, 05:38:29 AM
Thanks!

I thought "Shit!" Luckily a small amount, but I appreciate the refund very much.

That's probably a good edge case to think about; it's easy to accidentally resend.
An issue with sending back though is if they are using, say MyBitcoin.com, and then ask for their bitcoins back, we (the developer) can't deliver.
193  Economy / Marketplace / iChat Status Updater for Mt. Gox on: May 14, 2011, 01:44:42 AM
This is a very simple script that kgo put a 2 BTC bounty on, and I'm not sure where this thread should go.

Anyway, it's in AppleScript, and I may work on a better way to compile this soon, but as I don't have a Mac computer, this is difficult for me. I will look some more when I get to school.

It is released under the Creative Commons By-Attribution license, so basically you can do anything with it. You can find it here. Check the "Downloads" part for an easy download, or just run the updater.applescript file in the Script Editor. It's essentially the same thing.

If anyone has suggestions, or a way to improve it, let me know.

194  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Alert: a free, open-source Android application to monitor Mt. Gox prices on: May 13, 2011, 10:27:18 PM
I have fixed the SSL issues (I think), and have put it on Github.

Repository: https://github.com/johnmaguire2013/bitcoin-alert-plus

Download v1.2: BitcoinAlertPlus-v1.2.apk

Donations are appreciated as I spent the last 2 hours working on this. I've never played with Android development before, and don't have an Android phone. I did as much testing as I could, but can't guarantee I didn't break something. Please let me know how it goes.

Donations are seriously appreciated: 1HUU7Qnkt5vBsuJgTCBxjxQHKEDffkZnCS

I do plan to work more on this.
195  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Big Bounty: 1,000 BTC (One Thousand BTC) Shared Among A Small Group Of Writers. on: May 13, 2011, 08:32:28 PM
Fucking scammers.
Reggie's mouse pointer moved directly to the delete button in a well-practiced motion, then paused.  Being a moderator was heavy with the weight of not crucifying users just because you'd sold all your bitcoins 1/6th of the way up its recent meteoric rise.

He rescanned the lengthy and inscrutable post--there was no overt scam here.  So what was it?  Something about the pacing didn't sit right with him.  Instinctively, he began checking the first letters of each sentence, then the last ones.  He dumped the text into a custom program sitting open on his desktop and flipped through every letter interval from 3 to 30.  Nothing!  But the frequency counts showed he was on to something.
Nobody uses that many w's.

He switched to a terminal and his fingers began spewing Python like molten lava.  For 20 minutes he coded feverishly, dead to the world.  Then suddenly--that was it.  He stared purposefully at the vestal missive laid bare on his monitor, the words sinking slowly into his pulsing cerebellum.  He didn't think he'd be going into work tomorrow.

I think we have a winner right here.
196  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: I'll buy a motorbike for bitcoins on: May 13, 2011, 08:29:39 PM
I have a suzuki gsxr1000 k6. It's after an accident and would need to be repaired before you can ride it. It's been gathering dust for a couple of years now - I don't have the time to fix or ride it. It had ~8500miles on the clock.

This is what it looked like:

Is this what it looked like after?
197  Economy / Services / Re: [GIG] Earn BTC for unghosting craigslist ads on: May 13, 2011, 08:20:32 PM
How many ads are there to do?

I'm willing to do it for $.15 - $.35 USD per ad (the BTC equivalent, that is.)
198  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: I want BTC... Will do work! Lots of work! on: May 13, 2011, 07:55:47 PM
I would be interested in creating that AppleScript. I can do it probably within 30 minutes.

EDIT: Done, but I understand giving him dibs. Let me know.
199  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BitYacht - Now also with slot machines on: May 13, 2011, 07:43:09 PM
I'm not sure what you mean. All I'm asking is, if I "Play for Fun", do I have the same odds of winning as if I "Play for Real"ed?
200  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Big Bounty: 1,000 BTC (One Thousand BTC) Shared Among A Small Group Of Writers. on: May 13, 2011, 04:54:06 PM
I'm interested!

I leaned back in my seat, pleased with the outcome. I had written a piece and been accepted by a user known only as "Bit_Happy" to come with him on an Epic Adventure sure to be filled with great peril and toil, but in which I would receive a reward greater than that which I could imagine.

I suddenly got an acute feeling of nervousness. What had I gotten myself into? A scam? Some nutter's pipe dream? I was determined to find out, and had to stick with it, no matter what got in my way. I had to be The Writer.

I may expand in time. I had to run.
