181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 16, 2018, 11:38:25 AM
I like how Cleveland is returning to its simply yet unselfish and young line up. Besides they are also saving money instead of those veterans that aren't functioning really well on their play. Still GSW is heavy favorite to retain the throne this season.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2018, 09:48:45 AM
Where is my full member status? I have 120+ activity. Do we need a certain merit now too?

This is not the right thread for you. If only demerit is available. Cheesy

So Bitcoin will go straight up to 12k or 15k something? Will there be possible early bull exhaustion or what? I need money badly early this year for my new house and car. Grin
183  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: February 15, 2018, 09:14:37 AM
How I wish it will happen asap. But this seems not beneficial to governments, let alone banks so a possible crackdown happens. But if governments will accept decentralized currencies and will just regulate them then there has to be a good way that they can also benefit with it like the imposing of taxes.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: February 14, 2018, 10:24:24 AM
Quotes from the latest email I got.

"Further down we explain more about the Action Token and how 1 billion ACTN has been airdropped on NXT holders and will be accessible on the new chain in March."

I hold NXT and IGNIS on Bittrex largely because I am very confused with ardor, ignis and nxt wallets, what to use, when, is it working, are they cross compatible...etc.

Have I also received this airdrop?

If not where should I have been holding NXT to ensure I benefit from future airdrops.

"with an NXT Airdrop occurring last week"

Why are we receiving email notifications a week after the event?

I didn't know this airdrop thing. My Nxt is also in Bittrex.
It is interesting that holding Nxt has been giving us so many airdrops, Ardor, Ignis, and now ACTN.

All my NXT token is also in Bittrex. While I am satisfied I received my Ignis tokens I am disappointed when I heard airdrops on Bitswift are only applicable on NXT wallets.

Is ACTN airdropped applicable in Bittrex?
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 14, 2018, 09:41:30 AM
I'll go with Bitcoin. In 10 years time Bitcoin might be $1 million or even more. Gold is already over valued in my opinion as its supply is never ending compared to the scarcity of Bitcoin and its technology brings.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: February 12, 2018, 11:57:30 AM
Slowly accumulating bitcoin while it not yet back on its previous ath is a nice idea. You have to feel the market trend because everyone knows how volatile bitcoin price is.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 31, 2018, 12:08:38 PM
I think you should just buy both. But if I only pick one in a 10 years time frame then i'll consider gold just because of the current situation. Gold vs cryptocurrencies then 100% i'll bet on cryptocurrencies.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: January 22, 2018, 03:43:11 AM
People should relax a bit . All crypto assets are down at the moment and we are still on the binge of last years btc euphoria. But once all smoke is clear and prices became normalized, expect Stratis to gain momentum once the first ICO launches.

I am also patiently waiting the time Stratis ascends as top crypto. Are there already people that will be using Stratis platform in the near future for their crowdsale?
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: January 07, 2018, 05:23:11 AM
Glad to see the PTOY admin is active again and posting good news/content on the boards, the FUDdings was getting a little out of control. Look forward to watching developments in the year ahead.

Communication is the key to success. I refuse to hold tokens that don't have updates or AMA's. Investors must be kept abreast of the latest developments. Especially considering the funds that all these tokens are receiving... they could hire 1 person just for media and investor relations. There really is no excuse.

Thank for the updates PTOY

Absolutely true. Taking care of the community will make it stronger and bigger. Verge is probably one of the biggest community in crypto if not the biggest. Include them in a voting and they can easily own it. Hopefully PTOY will have one big happy community of supporters too.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: January 06, 2018, 12:24:30 PM
WINGS has rank 173 on coinmarket. Quite poor performance one year after the ICO. When is the production version expected?

Overall I am quite satisfied with Wings as per price performance. I already took out my capital during its peak price. Also distributions from predictions are decent enough.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 0.1 btc on: January 06, 2018, 10:37:02 AM
From 0.004 btc to 0.1 btc in just few days? Had you ride with the likes of Tron and XP it is very possible. We got bullish alts right now and it is perfect time to multiple your money.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: January 05, 2018, 03:10:02 AM
oh My Luck, DGB was waiting for me sell at loss. i bought at $0.09 few weeks ago and yesterday i exchanged it with other coin and today it rose. bad luck.
Why'd you sell?  Never sell!
DGB on the way to $1+++

Hard to predict Digibyte at $1 dollar in short term. Maybe it will happen in few months when there are big partnerships and upgrades. I am holding DGB because I believe the technology.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 02:41:18 AM
Bitcoin dropped back to $15,000. You do not want to miss the train when it breaks $20,000 and even higher soon.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: January 05, 2018, 02:07:50 AM
Bitcoin is just becoming more like an asset especially with its current expensive transaction fees. But huge transactions are still worth it. I believe Core will be announcing some upgrades soon.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 04, 2018, 08:36:40 AM
this is a disgrace xrp on top, disgusting

So true. And ETH is almost $1000. Seems even the XRP team is shocked by how high XRP is going!

The war is not yet over. This is going to be an exciting race. I can see more and more developments on these 2 top companies but I won't count out the other solid crypto killers like ADA and Stratis.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 04, 2018, 08:23:09 AM
For me, I think it is because bitcoin users are unknown, unless they tell themselves. And because of that, government will find it hard to let bitcoin users pay for their taxes, unless they are honest enough. Aside from honesty, I could not find ways on how to determine how much a person own crypto currencies.

Well, yes. Bitcoin users are unknown, unless they tell themselves. Bitcoins are unknown because Bitcoin is anonymous. It is anonymous because a bitcoin user can tranfer and transport a lot of money in just some clicks. It also cause Money Laundering. Bitcoin is not controlled by the government, so that, bitcoin don't pay taxes in every transactions and it is running in the world with anonymity. That's why bitcoin is not supported in some countries.

Governments can still impose taxes on crypto by their gateways. But what really bothers them are possible money laundering. Bitcoin is already popular in deep web which is of course not cool on governments. Terrorism and countries like North Korea are also possibilities why these countries will never tolerate and as much as possible will try to control this technology.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 04, 2018, 07:43:43 AM
So it looks like crypto is dead then, the market seems to be deciding that a non crypto, centralised , distributed ledger is preferable to crypto currency or even smart contracts.

What I want to know is where are all the bankers declaring that ripple is a bubble and will crash and burn?

Good point

Bankers don’t know what Ripple is. None of them use it.

so the Bankster coin talk is simply FUD from BTC shills?

Yes. The banks have experimented with Ripple, but absolutely ZERO of them are interested at this particular moment in using it. There was a great article about just this fact a few days ago.

The banks are interested with Ripple technology and they will just copy it or maybe use it but I doubt they are willing to use XRP tokens.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum will hit $1,000? on: January 03, 2018, 07:49:41 AM
Short term I can see Ethereum at $1,000. No reason to go down unless there are negative incidents in their network. Remember that up to this time Ethereum keeps gaining cooperations and partnerships.
199  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: January 03, 2018, 04:54:58 AM
Health is the very big thing that becomes the negative effect of technology to the children. Because they don't have exercise and there eyes at early age has already a negative response because of gadgets and some become easily got sick.

Technology is what make humans strive for existence. Children being addicted to phones, computers and other technology gadgets is not an excuse. It is about parents balancing their lives and enjoying it as children
