181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: March 18, 2020, 04:48:48 AM
Every market will plummet and things will go south for cryptocurrency but we should not be worried because things will go smooth-sailing once this crisis is over. Many asian indexes is recovering right now and I take that and you also should take that as a good news.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I though Bitcoin was created for this moment? on: March 18, 2020, 04:01:56 AM
Maybe what is happening right now is circumstantial. It was created to be a currency and a way for people to do transactions faster, the reason that it became an investment is that it became a sensation to investors in which they see a bright future.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin useful as a currency if so few services accept it? on: March 17, 2020, 11:12:21 AM
Bitcoin still has a long way to go to become a staple in economy. What we can do right now is to pave reputation for bitcoin so that it will create more milestones. Though there are few services, you may want to check stories about the growing popularity of cryptocurrency around the world.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% Wiped Out - Will Bitcoin Have a Hard Time Finding Investors After This? on: March 17, 2020, 09:19:33 AM
This plummet would surely hurt the investor reputation of bitcoin but I think there are a lot of oppurtunity for the bitcoin to rise again, be patient and it will go skyrocketing again (I hope). We don't really need to lose hope. This pandemic will be over in a no time and when that happen maybe a spike will happen.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Southeast Asia? on: March 17, 2020, 08:46:23 AM
You can use payment apps like coins.ph, gcash and paymaya just to name a few. It is available in yhe Philippines and banks are accepting a withdraw in ATM in bitcoin.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus Created by BTC Whales on: March 17, 2020, 07:56:22 AM
This is what happens when you always watch conspiracy theories which sometimes has no basis. If these were true why would they buy at 5k dollars when they can do more if they buy for 1k dollars, maybe they are just good at when to buy bitcoin and when to sell it. Honestly these are just prediction skills for me.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Now Legal In India? on: March 17, 2020, 06:48:35 AM
This is a big milestone on how long the cryptocurrency journey has been. From 20k bitcoin to this, that is a very big step. What I worry right now is that the government will try to wrestle control of the cryptocurrency in the market making it state controlled which I am an advocate against it.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Itīs not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 17, 2020, 04:55:32 AM
Bitcoin has proved itsellf worthy of our trust, we don't really have to be scared that we will sell our bitcoin because of the pandemic, instead of panic selling just hold you bitcoin and pray that this crisis will be averted. Panicking will cause people to think irrationally, dont be one.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 17, 2020, 04:11:04 AM
That's like the most basic skill you should know when you are on the Internet. When in doubt, do your own research, also don't go giving away your attention and time when you know that you won't get anything from them. Information dissemination should be regulated and don't forget to use your common sense, stop following people blindly.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 16, 2020, 04:07:10 PM
This crisis is already being resolved, we don't want to think that this will doom the market because there is no chance that this will become a destroyed market. Cryptocurrency market has pioneered and made a mark for itself in this global economy and that will never fade. Investors that are trying to sell their crypto might be needing the money for an emergency and we can't judge them. They might be waiting for the lowest point for the bitcoin to plummet then buyback their stock. Maybe all of this is just a very elaborate buy low sell high scheme.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: March 16, 2020, 02:41:08 PM
This is a pressing matter, if you are depressed or feeling bad about the plummet of the current market, need not worry for things will hopefully turn to good things. Being depressed because your current portfolio is downed then just have a little hope. You can't afford to lose yourself amidst the crisis, financial stability is important but mental stability is the first priority. Take care of yourself, unwind, read a book, watch a movie, bond with your family or pet.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italian Red Cross accepts BTC as donations to fight the corona virus on: March 16, 2020, 01:55:23 PM
This is a very big opportunity for the bitcoin to make another contribution in alleviating the ongoing crisis. This is also helpful in making a very good face for the cryptocurrency in our society.  Increased good reputation will surely help in making cryptocurrency a staple in the growing global economy.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Woman Funding ISIS With Bitcoin on: March 16, 2020, 12:14:40 PM
A woman, Zoobia Shahnaz of Long Island was sentenced to jail for 13 years for laundering money to fund ISIS using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
This types of stories are just rubbing salt to the wound of this infamous problem of cryptocurrency. This government seizures for cryptocurrency control is a likely solution to this growing problem of money laundering using cryptocurrency.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 16, 2020, 08:55:48 AM
How long will it last? What's the antidote for Corona?
Currently there is no telling when will it end but hopefully scientists and doctors around the world are doing their best to finish an antidote, vaccine and cure for this virus. Yes it crashes businesses but what can we do about it? Economy suffers when there is a crisis.

195  Economy / Economics / Re: Coin prices down 25% to 30% this morning. on: March 16, 2020, 05:01:49 AM
This is a golden oppurtunity for cryptopreneurs to buy cheaper coins and hope that it will increase when all this ordeal ends. This might not be the time for a big surge in prices but let us look in the bright side of things. Buy low sell high
196  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: March 16, 2020, 03:04:36 AM
For me collabaration will eliminate the competition and in turn will make the price of cryptocurrency stabilize, I may be wrong but that happens in different kinds of businesses.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin was created for time like this! on: March 15, 2020, 03:05:35 PM
This events has no correlation with what is happening to bitcoin, it was not made for this, it was the unfortunate circumstances that made it look like it was made for this. What bicoin really is made for is that it was a way of payment for services without the hassle of physical transaction. The investment part was latter added I think.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 14, 2020, 11:28:23 AM
Since it is easy with regards to creating an account here in Bitcointalk, it's safe to say that almost "ANYONE" could create an account. Making a statement to a rival gambling website is easy. It's the people who would take it either real or fake. I think it would be trustworthy (even if it's a newbie account) if it's accompanied by the list below.

I agree with what he said but I don't think there are people that pay for slandering because this forum is just a part of vast sea of World Wide Web. It is the same as the trolls that flame other people. One thing that a slandered website can do would be to prove that they are trustworthy and that they have a solid reputation, this thing sometimes outweighs the slandering.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What To Do? (For People Who Mostly Gamble on NBA Games) on: March 14, 2020, 10:49:34 AM
Most games that gather a lot of people are already cancelled because of the pandemic. You can try to hold on to that money of yours until everything goes back to normal hopefully. You can try casino games if you really want your gambling fix.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: March 14, 2020, 08:06:20 AM
Taking notes on what you earned is obviously very helpful but what I admire is your indomitable will to fight the urge to gamble, not many have that kind of discipline.
