I am also believing the same because most of the old generation people who are experts in traditional finance industry are not able to determine the intrinsic value of new emerging cryptocurrency and the tech people and young generations are only able to identify the potential of Bitcoin.

There are new emerging coins having alot more features than Bitcoin like ETH and NEO and they can replace BTC in terms of market cap because they are having alot of potential and most of the future companies will be created on top of these new platforms.

Yes, may be there are chances to replace the position of BTC. For example ETH because in 2017 ETH is tried to flip with BTC but failed. In future another coin come in the same way. Because cryptocurrency are emerging rapidly.

I can say the scalability issue and governance model is the main disadvantage for Bitcoin and because of that new emerging coins like IOTA and NEO and others are able to gain massive surge in the recent days.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility that Twitter will follow the advertising ban of Facebook? on: January 31, 2018, 04:34:25 PM
May be Twitter also will follow the footsteps of Facebook because most of the newbies attracted to ICOs due to immediate high returns but there are high chances to fall for false ICOs

This can be identified only by Due Deligence but most of the new people are not doing this and it will affect ultimately financial loss to people.

So please do Due Deligence before entering into any ICOs
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most ICOs ask for KYC? on: January 31, 2018, 04:26:39 PM
If KYC is not introduced by the new projects then that project may face lot of pressure from Govt to shut down the project and the GOVT will be able to know about people who are contributed in the sale and then Govt can ask the people to pay taxes
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO platforms on: January 31, 2018, 04:19:35 PM
As of Ethereum is the best project where lot of projects are able to launch their ICOs but in future better solution may emerge to reach mass audience and for scalability and self governance

The new blockchains will be EOS, Metronome, BOScoin, Tezos

200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitConnect a good investment? on: January 31, 2018, 04:13:02 PM
Always don't believe who promises to pay higher interests in your holdings

Recently I saw some of the scammers who tried to grab money from the people by saying that they will be paying 60% interest on our holdings and those websites are Bitpetite and laser.online
And now they absconded with the people's money and now same happened with Bitconnect. So don't believe these type of schemes
