184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Turbostake - TRBO charged PoW/PoS - Responsive Block Value Reward System on: August 28, 2018, 04:45:29 PM
please dont ruin this coin with a shitty erc20 token. ill gladly update the code if needed. What would we like to see here? 52B is not a big coin count... its small.

I agree, erc20 tokens are complete scams, it is a shame how many coins have been snuffed out by this evil trick to ruin legitimate coins.
185  Other / Off-topic / Just bought a 3D printer, What should I print? on: June 29, 2018, 07:31:13 AM
Good day, as the title suggests, I have purchased a 3d printer, specifically, a monoprice mp i3 from ebay brand new. It was on sale for $150 with free shipping, marked down from $399.

3D printing is amazing, it is very simple and very powerful. 3D printing technology, specifically FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) was invented in 1989, as a way to quickly prototype models. This has led many hobbiests to develop the first commercial FDM 3D printers sold as buildable kits. These systems have now become developed by companies such as Novamaker and Monoprice.

The main advantage of the monoprice mp i3 besides its excellent price, is that it comes fully assembled. There are, however, several disadvantages I have seen so far. The most obvious being that the monoprice mp i3 does not have a heated bed. This is actually OK, because a heated bed is only used for printing with ABS plastic, this is really not desirable, because ABS produces quite potent and toxic fumes when used. Getting the print bed level on the monoprice mp i3 is very tedious and tricky, it is the most crucial step for successful prints.

My first serious project will be to print a 660 watt brushless DC motor created by Christoph Laimer, here is a youtube video of Mr. Laimer demonstrating his beastly motor.

186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the market red on: June 25, 2018, 09:36:48 PM
You tell me?

A guy I know that is a dedicated chart analysts predicted a big drop as you guys declared a bull. He went into hiding because it looked liked he was wrong but the negative Red I see is mind blowing.

What’s going on?

It is normal market cycles. When everyone is declaring bitcoin dead (now), it has reached bottom. When nobody cares because it goes sideways with little volume, it will enter a new bull run and hit $120k or more (perhaps 2x). But then it will go down to about... and on and on.

I think a similar trend is occuring for other coins as well.

This is very good coin. Wallet seems fine. Anyone know the circulating supply? I know the max is 21,000,000,000. I like this project, I love trees, and if this helps the rainforest, I'm very supportive.

I do think this is the same leafcoin as on yobit.

The guy with android issues, nobody understands, because we have not used the android app. From what I know, you may be able to extract your keys from the android backup, but it is not easy. Good luck.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: June 14, 2018, 06:58:06 PM
I have many coins, most are long term holds. Lately I have been investing heavily in low cap coins on cryptopia, such as Spartancoin and Experiencecoin. However, I also have some higher cap coins such as myriadcoin, digibyte, reddcoin, gridcoin and litecoin.

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: June 03, 2018, 05:18:47 AM
There are many great coins, I recommend you diversify your portfolio by breaking up the $7k evenly, or however you choose. Some good coins that will be giving huge returns are:

Experiencecoin
Digibyte
Myriad
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Favorite Altcoin. on: May 31, 2018, 03:00:16 PM
I have many favorites, because it is my opinion that a well diversified portfolio is the best way to invest. Rarely is it a good idea to put all of your investing into a single asset. However, my favorite coin is Experiencecoin™, because this coin is exciting with its massive growth potenial.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: May 31, 2018, 04:53:43 AM
There are a few stores who accept bitcoin where I live in the United States, Oregon. We also have a bitcoin kiosk in a mall here. It actually makes buying and selling bitcoin or litecoin very easy. The fee is not too expensive if you buy enough ($5 kiosk fee).

Other than that there is not very much adoption, but I think that will change, and we will see more stores accepting cryptocurrency even more than just bitcoin sooner than we can imagine.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have mechanism to recover stolen or lost bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 03:20:09 AM
Nope.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin? on: May 28, 2018, 12:32:36 AM
No. Cryptocurrencies cannot be destroyed. They are code running on computers. As long as someone keeps running a wallet, has a backup of the wallet and perhaps even a backup of the blockchain every once in a while, your node will keep the system running. There needs to be at least one wallet and one miner. If only a single miner were mining a cryptocurrency, its difficulty would become low enough to allow the miner to mine the proper amount of blocks, regardless of the power of his miner.

This means cryptocurrency cannot be destroyed.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: May 27, 2018, 03:31:20 AM
Do you think it is good to buy bitcoin? But why? It is too expensive, $20 gives you very little less than 1% of one single bitcoin. $20 gives you 0.002 bitcoin, that is 0.2% of 1 bitcoin. If you buy inexpensive coin like Experiencecoin, $20 gives you about 2,000,000 experiencecoins. That is 0.01% of the entire Experiencecoin supply!!!! 0.002 bitcoin is 0.000000000112% of the entire bitcoin supply.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BIRD] | Final Stage Reward 1 BIRD/Block | Never Dies update 21st Dec 2016 on: May 25, 2018, 05:37:36 AM
Hi this sucks balls. I tried withdrawing like $10 USD from cryptopia, that was 1 million coin, but it says limit of 150,000 coins per withdrawl, wtf, but whatever so I make a crap load of freakin $1 withdrawls that don't go through. For some magical reason, cryptopia managed to get me 225,099.009 birdcoins after 4 ticket requests and over two weeks. A whole $3 in birdcoin. WTF. Why would any sane person want to do such a worthless and difficult thing?
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / EASY single crypto address ANY COIN multiple customer SECURE METHOD!!! on: May 24, 2018, 05:14:41 AM
Greetings, one of the primary uses for cryptocurrency as set out in the original whitepaper written by Satoshi Nakamoto, was for them to be used as payments for goods and services online, similar to a digital cash.

The primary difficulty in using cryptocurrency as a payment method, is providing secure evidence of who sent the transaction. This has so far been accomplished by assigning one or more unique addresses each time a payment is required. This has the flaw of being very complicated to accomplish using a code based solution, and therefore will generally be pursued by a few perhaps only one company. This is our current situation with bitpay and litepay. These payment solutions are very tedious and complex to maintain, and because of this, only a few cryptocurrency is available as a payment method, and a single third party is responsible for ensuring those payment methods are secure and effective.

I am introducing an easy to use payment solution for goods and services online with any cryptocurrency and using only a single public receiving address for each type of currency accepted.

The solution is to email, or otherwise send via a timestamped communications method, with the sender previding their details, the exact amount of cryptocurrency that will be sent. For example, if you wanted to sell a pizza for $9.99 and you accepted litecoin, the amount to send would be 9.99/[Litecoin_Price]=[Amount_To_Send]. For example, the current price of litecoin as of this article, is about $121 usd.

9.99/121=0.08256198 LTC.

The exact amount to send will change as the price fluctuates, and will be unique for each transaction. The buyer first calculates how much will be sent and emails the seller how many coins will be sent exactly  before actually sending the coins. Then the buyer sends the calculated amount to the public address. The seller knows without doubt who sent the coins, because the timestamped email with the amount sent, will be before the transaction's timestamp as recorded in the blockchain.
