Thanks, it seems so indeed. Looking at the source would only have shown me that there are no special first blocks the devs mined. The pre-/instamine looked suspicious to me, and it seems you thought so aswell. You trying to buy the early coins seems like a good way of dealing with this.
Hope this didn't kill the coin, I've seen worse coins have more success. Also i hope you understand my maybe too strong reaction. Cheers and good luck.

I have tried to be as honest/open as I possibly can and as I said I have put any coins I "premined" into bounties. I really dont think there is anything more i can do to resolve this issue. Im even giving away my mined coins away in givaway.

Feel free to open a moderated thread.  I know I said I'll be quiet, but you continue to be dishonest, so I feel the urge to point this out. Let's say public mining began 20:20GMT, 10 minutes early, but OK. Until then 1048 blocks were mined, which amount to 104,800GLC. 25k GLC went to bounties (but only after we pointed out the premine). 1k to TheSwede75. That still leaves us with 78,000GLC missing. You and muddafudda refuse to tell us where these coins are, although it is obvious they must be in your wallets. That leaves you with two options: Either spend all/most of the coins on the bounties or keep them and watch the coin die. Still giving away 100 free GLC, that's more than you have done for this coin SistaFista. I hope you learnt some lessons from this debacle, but I have my doubts. I only had the DL links for the coin @ ~8pm GMT ie 30 mins before launch. I then wrote up the whole ANN thread, then tested and then released. Im being honest I have 2k in my wallet and 600 earnt from mining last night. And im not the main dev i just announced it and support/dev the project. Less of the bashing im not a "scammer" this is not a scam coin and imo is one of the more succesful launches. Sorry if you dont feel that way |

Also @ sistafista: Again, noone would have been mad about the premine if you had been honest about it from the beginning. There's still time to fix it:
1. use the other 75k coins for bounties aswell
2. delete the big red text claiming 0% premine.

This is NOT a fair launch, where developers get first 1000 or whatever blocks. It is also not a fair launch when there is no source code available.
But I will wait for block 5000 and mine some coins at 5x speed. I'll have personal pool by then, unfortunately it is not good enough for public.
The source is available, look!. There was a limited amount of "pre-mining" for testing but be aware all funds from that are being used for bountys. And no its not like we mined 5 million coins genisis blocks Maybe removing the big red text from the opening post would keep so many people from posting about your pre-mine. I don't mind alt-coins, this is just a suggestion. I dont care, they can complain, only noobs that have no clue read other peoples posts and jump on the band-waggon, As I have stated <20k was "pre-mined" thats is hardly a scratch on the total and 20k plus 5k of my own mined coins has been put on bounties. you know its kinda funny how nobody plans for the normal highs and lows of an ecomonic system when structuring block rewards. if people would use half their brain when designing this coins they'd end up with a coin worth having

Good luck with your coin though. i have no doubt you will see a sudden exodous of hashrate when NanoToken is released r3wt We are open to advice but every comment so far has been how bad this coin is or we are "people with half a brain" Dude, you named your coin GlobalCoin and stole WorldCoin's logo. Like seriously? What did you expect? And, everyone knows, that large blocks rewards, hurt a coins value. I have a "Globe" eg Earth they have "World" eg. Disney World. And as for large block rewards, meh this really isnt much of an issue maybe could be lower but its not exactly infinity coin is it? Also block reward returns to 100 @ block 40000 after a steady decrease insuring miners dont just leave when the party stops |
