1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 02, 2017, 05:26:46 PM
I consider trading as a professional activity. It requires analysis, research and others knowledges. Gambling you just require luck. But yes, maybe there is a thin line between then. It depends on how you do trading.
Yes I agree with you that there is no doubt about this that gambling is a professional activity, trading can be consider as profession, because in trading you need good study analysis and trading skill with previous experience, while in gambling you need just your luck and nothing else.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Traditional Gambling or Online Gambling? What's yours? on: January 02, 2017, 03:58:56 PM
i am prefer with online gambling beside the benefit for me like i don't have to go into the real casino and other. but sometimes i am playing traditional gambling with my friends if we've meet in my home or my friends house. usually we've play cards with using money but not for big money because we only want to have fun in the card games.
I also prefer online gambling because I am living in Islamic country and gambling is illegal and consider as sin in Islam therefore it is not legal o play gambling here openly, for his purpose I have the only option to play gambling online as no one can easily trace me while playing online gambling.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 01, 2017, 09:18:16 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
yes my feel too , i think gambling was created with in addictive
and addictive is a sign that gambling ..
interest in gambling is the beginning of addiction. Well, I guess it's fair goes back to play, even though you know that the money you use to gamble it will run out. Well, almost everyone who gamble like that. I guess it is the effect of gambling, and it does have a sense of enormous interest to try again.
No I do not think so. I am very interested in gambling but I have never get addicted to it since I joined the gambling industry in 2015. I know that gambling is just a type of entertainment so I rarely think that I can have a decent amount of money there. Even though you may win some games, the house will know the way to retaliate and take back the winning money
I think you are the most lucky person who is not addicted to gambling, there may be very little number of people who can claim that they are not addicted to gambling and they can stop gambling any time they want, as most of the people who are playing gambling on regular bases are mostly addicted to gambling.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 01, 2017, 09:06:52 PM
Just like what I've said it is not easy if don't have the willingness to quit but if you do have the guts and willingness to quit. For sure you will say that it is easy to do with the help of the people who are surrounding you and ready to help you to quit gambling for real.

People that are addicted to gamble are mostly a failure in their life as well which means it will be hard for them to stop. You wont see any rich guy that is actually addicted to it, even when you see people flash up millions of dollars, doesnt mean that it is his entire life saving however it actually means that he has alot more than that to waste on gambling
Sorry but it is absolutely wrong to say, I do not thing that rich people are not addicted to gambling.

I think the majority of the addicted people belong to rich families and although they have a lot of money and every time they lose a good amount of money but still they are unable to quit gambling because they are badly addicted to gambling.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: January 01, 2017, 08:26:20 PM
Yes there are a lot of people under the age of 18 who gamble. I dont know what are you going to do gaining that info. We could try stopping people under 18 years of age from gambling but it is going to be very hard. First of all all the gambling sites will need to have KYC for each n every customer to allow them to gamble. Which is very hard to do. Especially when u have sites like directbet where u dont have to even make an account.
But if the sites will start asking identities from gamblers then how will the bitcoin gambling that is considered as the most anonymous form of gambling will remain anonymous ?
I think any alterations in current state of gambling will make it very poor. Let it go as it is.
1806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy really large BTC amounts? on: December 31, 2016, 08:59:04 PM
you could purchase large quantity of bitcoins from any exchanges ,the only issue you would face is it is mandatory to verify the identity if you are purchasing large amount of coins and most exchanges have a daily limit of $50000 worth of coins
you are right that you can buy bitcoin from any trusted exchange in how any amount if you can afford and there is no ban to buy bitcoin in huge amount its all depend on your balance and i think now you can buy bitcoin with good price because bitcoin will be more increase its price in to few weeks.
Yes that is right there is no ban on the amount to bitcoin to buy, if you have the potential you can even buy all the available amount of bitcoin in the market, it depend on the amount you have to buy bitcoin with, there is no limit for buying bitcoin, but if your pocket allow you.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: December 31, 2016, 08:29:29 PM
when i stop when i dont have good mood. if i play game on dice no matter lose or win if still have good mood i play until i am lose all then depo again but sometimes i must stop betting when i lose or get some profit . must know my limit

While playing dice game, it's hard to stop whether you're in profit or losses because of our greediness and sometimes we can't control that but most of the time greediness will win. So I always play this dice game with small fixed amount and will not worry much about the end result. This way I can limit my loss for that particular session.
i think not only in dice games but in all other format of gambling it is always hard to stop gambling either you are winning or loosing. i think it is one of the most difficult job to stop gambling, especially if you are addicted.
Yes, I also agree with you. I think it is very difficult to control yourself while playing gambling due to the dominance of gambling addictions, therefore it is very much important to have a good strategy and sticky follow that strategy and only then you can keep yourself safe from a big lose.
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2016, 09:55:27 PM
I think no one can determine the actual number of people who use bitcoin. Becouse it so anonimously and one person could be have more than one wallet.

For me the number of these people is an infinite number which cannot be counted just like our human hairs numbers cannot be counted pieces by pieces, thats how bitcoin works to life of people nowadays and its becoming more and increasing rapidly on those who use bitcoin for earning also a bitcoin. The reason if this is investments of bitcoin turns to bitcoin profits that can be a source of financial income for people who are positive and are hardworking individuals.
The number of people using bitcoin may not be easy to know exactly but we can estimate how many people there are by counting how many active wallets there are on each online wallet, but even then it is not even the actual the number because there are people using bitcoin in offline wallets, but it is a one way to guess the users of bitcoin.
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 30, 2016, 09:46:25 PM
Bitcoin's price is flying and rising with rocket speed.. i think bitcoin will survive always as the leader while it may have competitor but i think bitcoin is the most expensive and most well-known coin in crypto currencies. So it will stay as it is..
With the bitcoin becoming more expensive and harder to mine, people who are new to it find it very difficult to get their hands on it, especially if they don’t have the money for it, so their option is to switch to other crypto currencies and try to mine those and then hopefully exchange them into bitcoin, but that does not mean that they will replace bitcoin.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: December 30, 2016, 09:32:11 PM
i cant find fun in gambling
and i cant get profit too
so i do gaming just once and never do it again

Well that's better if you aren't really getting good result as you gamble that's the best thing to do, don't do gamble at all or just gamble whenever you want.

But as you said, you still gamble at once maybe you are still feeling some different thing when you gamble.

Once you realize that gambling is good for fun and profit, you will have the same feeling as others do gamble for fun.
It's always a good decision to quit once you feel you are not getting the result you expected in gambling, why still aggravate the loses if you can quit early? Honestly, I salute that decision to quit so we can avoid reaching the point that we are going to blame someday or gambling for ruining our life.
I think one of the most difficult job in the world is to take the decision to stop gambling while you are playing gambling.

I think very little people can be so much committed to and strong to take the decision and then act practically to stop playing gambling when you realize that you are not receiving the desire result from your gambling.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto trading or gambling on: December 30, 2016, 09:13:59 PM
What much profitable (less unprofitable). With same bankroll, crypto trading (ICO and other) or gambling?
I think crypto trading, but i'm never did it regular, only hold some btc. Start not so long ago and  buy augur on presale and not much other coins. And here now it seems to me, that the odds better than odds on bets or poker

I prefer gambling, since trading requires much more analyisis and understanding of the market and what not. I might start going into trading waters myself so ill see how it goes Smiley
same for also i prefer gambling also trading takes alot of time and work and you need to watch in your computer all day , there is no guarantee you will earn without any lose , with gambling you just need to click to earn.
As I give time to both, I do trading in alt coin regularly and also play gambling on regular basis, but if I compare both then I will like to say that I have more experience in trading as compare to gambling.

I mostly play gambling on sports where I have some experience about some sports game so it become easy for me to play gambling there.
1812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: December 30, 2016, 08:53:52 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

So how about people that already try it? Or even already addicted and being bancrupt because of gambling, do you any advice or sugestion??
There is always a solution for everything, your life does not end by the moment you get addicted with gambling. It is our will to change that would help us to get out the mess we make, in the first place, we are not force to gamble and we know how risky gambling is, so it is just right to ensure that we will be able to take care of our finances by minimizing our loses and enjoying gambling at the same time.

Exactly right, it might be hard but soon enough you can find yourself no longer involved on it. So better not start gambling to those who were not into it yet. Its hard when addiction attacks. There's lot to lose doing it money, time and efforts.
to me if if you a are a committed person then you should start gambling as you can follow our strategy about gambling easily, but if you are not a committed person then you should try to avoid gambling as you can lost a big about in gambling.
Yes gambling results can depend on your strategy, you need to make such strategy in gambling which cannot effect you financially too much, you should try to limit your gambling up to certain limit that you can easily afford to lose. In this why you will never feel hard even if you lose in gambling continuously.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling trading or giveaway? on: December 30, 2016, 08:27:41 PM
I prefer to do all of the options. So, if I have enough time to join some giveaways then I will do it and whenever I already claim the reward. That's the right time that I am going to first choose to trade it. And after getting some good profit in trading, that's the right time when I am going to have some fun by getting small portion of it and gamble.
I too usually will go with both two options, to me I like trading and mostly I earn money from trading as I have also good experience in  trading, but I also like gambling and cannot stop gambling ever, although I invest little money in gambling but still I like to play gambling.

1815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why was bitcoin designed with no inflation? on: December 27, 2016, 09:18:03 AM
It is believed that gold has limited supply (unless aliens bring it from other planet), still it was successfully used for medium of exchange for centuries, then why not we can use bitcoin in modern days in digital format.

Bitcoin was designed by keeping gold in mind.
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 rally is led by India on: December 27, 2016, 09:11:17 AM
i admit that India had some effect on bitcoin price but with those volumes and the situation they have  meaning people have limited access to their funds in banks and also the comparison between the Indian volume and the rest i'd say their effect was tiny.
The India boom has started very well but unfortunately it was not sustaining due to lack of fund flow from/to India. Many Indian exchanges are not accepting USD deposits from world wide people at least if they have visa card processing through verification (like CEX has), the trend would have spread out to other exchanges too.
1817  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin in 2017 on: December 27, 2016, 09:00:37 AM
That is the most important thing, that consolidates its leadership and throughout will be more stable with less volatility, but more than 10000 still has a lot of margin
I am not still not expecting $10k price levels as of now. Because I am just targeting for new all time high levels and maybe after that like many people here I am also will start speculate about huge price levels like 2k or 5k or even 10k.

2017 is definitely going to be a fully power packed with respect to current stable price levels. This slow and steady rally certainly will take bitcoins into 10k levels too.
1818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: December 27, 2016, 08:50:36 AM
What makes you think it will drop?
Obviously profit booking will take place as many investors would have been targeting $1000 price levels but I believe before it makes a pullback, I guess it will set a new ATH. Because, new investors will be rushing and definitely would be more than profit booking. So, after $1000 a jump will be possible before any pullback.
Yes, I too think it is only possible when there are more number of new adopters than those who will be looking to book profits at $1000. I agree, there will be more media coverage when bitcoin testing four digit price levels, so new adopters will come and join the party. I guess most probably there will not be price drop once bitcoin hit $1000.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: December 27, 2016, 08:31:56 AM
I think these two practices are different from each other, because in gambling you put amount of money, and you might restore it with profit or you might lose it, while in trading you might win or lose without losing your whole money, so gambling is more dangerous than trading.
Yeah gambling is more dangerous and more addictive form of trading, but they are not really different from each other. Gambling is also profitable as some people think that gambling would always be a loss activity, no !

I have seen people making profits with gambling too, just they use their knowledge and analysis to the maximum possible extent.
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 your year or just another year on: December 27, 2016, 08:21:12 AM
So with the year saying us goodbye and the last Tuesday setting in, how was the year in gambling aspects, how much did you make, which sites you earned most and which you lost on. What's that one bet you can remember and one move you you wished you never played. I have played on primedice seemed decent though I played with small amounts, planning to play big next year. Do share your stories
With respect to my gambling activities, 2016 is my year because I am completely neutral as I managed to gamble for free of cost unlike previous years. I need to conclude this year as a successful year for my gambling activities because I just used only faucets and enjoyed the maximum.
