1801  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: March 27, 2022, 10:51:28 PM
I was reading an article of Nigerian miners do what they know how to do best which is mining Bitcoin. But this guys don't mine Bitcoin in there father's land but they do in other countries if the world.
Nigerians are ready to mine Bitcoin, the zeal is there but the issue right is the difficulty a miner would encounter mining Bitcoin in Nigeria, especially power issue, governmental issues. I believe once all these issues are tackled we would be having more miners on Nigeria.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 27, 2022, 10:47:08 PM
Crypto-currency and sport are partnering to bringing Crypto to the world, we can see many football teams are all already having lots of crypto-currency related sponsors
But for a certain crypto.com sponsoring the fifa world cup is such a big deal.
And at this time of war the world would be looking at football to bring temporary to permanent peace. And tbja would be a great time to promote cryptocurrency on the world stage.
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin market, what to expect I'm this season on: March 27, 2022, 10:28:25 PM
An altcoin is one of the volatile be ventures in cryptocurrency but also. the. most lucrative if an investor makes the right choice in the right context of things. With the recent hype of the cryptocurrency market, a lot of altcoin holders may have different views on the further and this can prove positive or negative.
Mate what is the point of your post? Yes Altcoin can be lucrative when you make the right decision, but also altcoin can be a tragedy when ever you make the wrong decision.
I have different opinion on an altcoin. Although I don't invest in Altcoin I do my research on it and from what I have done so far the risk is higher than the gains, so before you put your money on any altcoin be sure you are doing the right thing.
1804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fairly new and had been ignorant but I know bitcoin works though. Still learning on: March 27, 2022, 09:59:22 PM
I have never heard of anyone that made an investment in Bitcoin and it turned to a sham. I think you must be mistaking Bitcoin for another coin probably you generalising the term Crypto currency.
First when trying to invest in Bitcoin always note this, don't do it on the wrong Exchange, find out which Exchange is right, and also get a genuine wallet this is very important don't ever save your Bitcoin on an exchange
1805  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merits and what does it do? on: March 27, 2022, 08:15:45 PM
First so you know, merit isn't related to crypto-currency, it's just a feature on this forum, from the dictionary term merit isn't very different from what it is here in the forum, it's could be considered as a recognition/Award for contribution, if you aren't new here you should have checked at the frequently asked questions and even checked the rules, you have everything laid out for you.
You can't focus on merit when you haven't learn about the rules, this should be your first priority.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Around The World on: March 27, 2022, 05:01:38 PM
No one can officially and accurately know how many Crypto enthusiast exist around the world. But I can say for a certain that crypto-currency has really been on the rise recently.
Now in my country we even have established crypto-currency vendors, crypto-currency workshop and lectures and more, the community keeps on increasing and that has been amazing so far. I can say that the estimation there is lower than what we should be having.
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month of WAR on: March 26, 2022, 10:37:33 PM
The Russian citizens has started to move into crypto-currency the more, during this month period of war.

We have seen the government of Ukraine started a donation program using the Crypto-currency format, we also had seen the United States of America president speak well about Crypto-currency, although we didn't see much price increase this year I still think it was a good year for crypto-currency.
1808  Economy / Economics / Re: online skills in the face of war on: March 26, 2022, 10:24:19 PM
Skills in general, not just digital skills. In times of crisis, you are always at an advantage if you have the skills, more like real-life skills rather than online skills.
This is a very important note to make, having general skills and not pegging it on Online skill is important, I believe that the most Skil that thrive most are those that are rare and doesn't have much people flooding into it, i always wish I could just have a rare skill in art or some or some other sector and not only an online Skill. As the war lingers those affected don't only need to think of a skill but also appreciate the little things of life.
1809  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: March 26, 2022, 10:14:36 PM

This is a great news in general for the Nigerian community, I am certain that there are many Nigerian miners out there that are mostly hindered by the cost of energy involved in mining, Nigerian has been know to get involved in every sector of crypto-currency except mining of Bitcoin, although one of my greatest fear in Nigeria is continuity, and I hope we have a long term run of this initiative.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 26, 2022, 09:58:59 PM
I also believe that Bayern Munich must be aware of the Villarreal threat. Because Villarreal surprised everyone by eliminating Juventus like that in the previous stage of the Champions League. They won the rematch by 3-0 and Juventus players were surprised by their performance a lot. Maybe Bayern Munich are way more capable when it comes to attacking and scoring than Juventus. But it would be safer for Bayern Munich to secure themselves by getting wins in each game. But I think the first leg will end up with a draw like 1-1. And Bayern Munich will be victorious in the rematch by at least two goals.
I must praise Villarreal for coming this far in the UEFA champions league, one of the three Spanish side still in the tournament, and the fact they eliminated Juventus iss very much impressive.

But can they knockout Bayern Munich? No I don't think Villarreal can do that, it would be a very though encounter but I think quality or players and experience would really be on the side of the German club and I predict they would win the encounter.
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we just going around in circles? on: March 26, 2022, 09:45:24 PM
ICO never came back, IEO is not trending anymore do you think that metaverse won't vanish in near future? It's like every trending crypto hype will fade away sooner or later and new thing will come around again, are we just going around in circles?.
This is one of my biggest concern about the metaverse universe. Even the memecoin is dieing off very fast, but I must say the money being used to buy bored Apes and other NFT related stuff are very high.

I think as an investor it's best to always look out for the potential and also the future (for long term holders) of any program before investing in it.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is going to be bad for the Indian Bitcoin community on: March 26, 2022, 09:34:02 PM
I am not surprised about this, the Indian government hasn't been friendly with crypto-currency, and I believe they are doing everything possible to continue to frustrate the Crypto-currency community.

What the Crypto-currency community needs is more decentralization, I am really not impressed with the way the Crypto-currency Exchanges and many others are going centralized.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: March 25, 2022, 09:02:27 PM
I had always expected Nigeria and Ghana encounter to be very tough and at 68 minutes and still goalless shows you how tight the match is. This are two long time rivals and it isn't only for a Chance to qualify but also for glory.
Honestly speaking it hasn't been an exciting one with the two goalkeepers having less work to do. But I think it won't end a draw as one team would be able to put one goal inthe last minutes of the game.
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As big as binance in the future on: March 25, 2022, 08:14:19 PM
Well kucoin Exchange and Cointiger exchange are two Exchanges with lots of potentials, and I think they can be as big If not bigger, than bianance. But I have some issues with crypto-currency Exchanges right now, they are fast losing their decentralized value, a decentralized exchange should not compromise the privacy of it's users.

I think the future of crypto-currency to continue to be decentralized is in the hands of the Exchanges and now many of them are fast going centralized.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What stable coin are you into? on: March 25, 2022, 07:48:36 PM
The only stable coin I use mostly is USDT, that's because it's pegged to the US dollars, many newbies would confuse stable as another Crypto-currency Investment, its mostly used to give your asset a less volatile value.

No to your question, I haven't used any other the two stable coin but they are popular though, I think the are closely match but as always I as a Crypto enthusiast would always prefer a decentralized coin to a centralized coin.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian individuals are using crypto to bypass sanctions on: March 25, 2022, 07:14:19 PM
Not all Crypto-currency Exchange are allowing Russia and it's citizens to bypass the sanction, but definitely there would be some agency that would use this opportunity to make gains for themselves.

Although I don't think innocent citizens should suffer because of Russia, but regardless, Crypto-currency should not be used as a medium to escape bam illegally.
1817  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: March 24, 2022, 09:31:58 PM
Weldone everyone abeg I one make a request, as of now many people dey believe say the Altcoin season go lap for Crypto market soon, although I no dey believe in speculations, I gats the plan for anything, so I one request say make we share our Altcoins experience, the way we choose altcoin, anyone that has giving us financial heart ache and those that put smile on our faces.

1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: March 24, 2022, 09:13:25 PM
I can only guarantee that Bitcoin would explode every year, although from my research some few Altcoins may also do very well, and we may see and Altcoin season, but it isn't a financial advice.
I believe in sticking to Bitcoin mainly but may get some Altcoin soon, and the metaverse is getting very interesting although it isn't for the minimal capital holders, but if tou6hace the funds then NFT metaverse is a good decision.
1819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How secure are my funds Trust wallet? on: March 23, 2022, 09:07:28 PM
I store some of my Bitcoin on trust wallet although not much, I still don't get scared that my coins are on the platform, trust wallet is more secured than having your coin stored in an exchange wallet, I have some Bitcoin also on electrum and I feel most secured her I don't really have anything against trust wallet. I also recommend it to newbies and even old users.

Although guys make we no dey discouraged, I think many of us here are putting in serious work and helping ourselves the best way we can and thanks to crypto-currency it has given us another chance at self dependancy.
