1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High bet amounts or low bet amounts? What is your style? on: June 18, 2016, 04:56:45 AM
It depends on the game of course. When I play Dice, Slots or any other pure luck based game I don't like to go all it, because of the unpredictable nature of these games.
From the other hand I love to go high on sport betting, as I have a feeling that by researching subject I have better chances to win the bet.
1802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't worry - this is neither a crash nor a turning point ... on: June 18, 2016, 04:25:35 AM
It will be amusing in the future to look back and see ppl fretting over whether the price was $100 or $900. It will all look the same
I certainly hope so. I read that there are prediction about bitcoin - and expected value of 1 BTC in year 2027 is $300.000.
I know at this point is pure sci-fi speculation but I definitely would like that to happen.

1804  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastBitRoulette.com Under New Ownership! FREE BTC TO TRY IT (See Thread) on: June 18, 2016, 04:04:02 AM
I played with giveaway money and after 5 spins I lost it all. After all there is 7 'positive' fields where you can win and 9 'negative'.
So odds of wining are not exactly around 50%. With my 5 rolls I hit only one positive 2x field Sad

Anyway, I think if someone will prove that this roulette is totally provably fair it could be nice to play it from time to time.
1805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best bitcoin slots game? on: June 18, 2016, 03:51:02 AM
I've been using videobitcoincasino slots but i've been having HORRIBLE luck there so i'm looking for a new site to play on
Well, if you think that changing slot machine will gonna change your luck and give you the edge you might want to think twice.
Slots are not exactly known for the best house edge among casino games, on the contrary you will most likely lose while playing even more.

But despite that I like to play some slots from time to time I can really recommend the one slot machine I like - Satoshi's Secret.
You can find it at every good bitcoin powered gambling site.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 18, 2016, 03:30:53 AM
As today's matches go I want to see Portugal vs. Austria the most. After that disappointing draw vs. Iceland, Portugal seemed to be out of touch that match.
Ronaldo said that it was lucky match for Iceland, and they are not gonna achieve anything in this tournament.

So I want to see how Portugal will slay Austria, which previously suffered 2:0 loss to Hungary. It might be very one sided match, and I think it is wise to bet over 2.5 goals.
1807  Economy / Gambling / Re: Should PrimeDice start to allow gambling with other cryptocurrencies? on: June 18, 2016, 03:14:14 AM
I don't think it would be a good idea. They are the leading Bitcoin gambling site, so they don't want to break this brand and just become a crypto gambling site. Bitcoin is king of crypto and if you are the best already in the business, you don't want to deal with the problem of multiple tokens.

But do you think that expand their market on crypto will make them even more success then today? I think that is not a wrong move to do. Make a good vision on the future will good moreover if the price is on top and it will always be traded because people keep on using it on gambling

Possibly, but PrimeDice doesn't need to improve their site at the moment, so there's no need to add altcoins. They are doing fine going bitcoin only and they are the largest gambling site, so I don't think they need to put in the work to accept altcoins. Also, PrimeDice might not find altcoins appealing due to the sheer number of them and how they aren't worth very much compared to bitcoin.

they always need to improve if they want to stay relevant. otherwise they will lose their share of the market .

also primedice recently has announced they are going to make some changes and everybody is super excited about it.
I haven't heard about this new PD's announcement. I am gonna check their thread to learn some more now. I hope it is not about adding additional altcoins to the pool.
Especially now when Ethereum has been compromised by hackers.

But I am not qualified to test if your site is technically fine, and if implemented Provably Fair system is working as intended.
I can post my general thoughts about the game itself. Not about fairness of your site.

EDIT: I can see unconfirmed 0.001 transaction already. Thanks.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you want to see in Bitcoin casinos? on: June 17, 2016, 02:25:09 AM
-snip-
We're currently considering PVP games on our casino. I'll make an announcement should that happen Smiley
-snip-
What kind of PvP games are you talking about? Do you plan on creating whole new pure PvP games or you want to implement for game when I player act like a house and others are betting?
I am asking because it is really hard to implement PvP and I've never seen this concept polished in any bitcoin powered casino.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: June 17, 2016, 01:20:01 AM
As I know that profit from gambling activities is not always possible. So anyone who is playing with mentality "I need to earn money from gambling!" is not thinking straight.
Some people who heard stories of someone who managed to win great money are instantly blinded by gambling 'easy money' opportunity.
But they should first calm down, calculate the odds, learn the mathematics behind games and then try to gamble...
1811  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: June 17, 2016, 01:00:05 AM
0.3 BTC now is more than $230! Crazy high and without initial bankroll it is almost impossible to earn this kind of money from BTC.
I will just leave a list here, maybe someone will find it interesting and helpful. It is a list of of Popular Investment Sites where you can Invest your Bitcoins:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1136572.0

Note: I am not endorsing any of these sites. And keep in mind that investing BTC=risking your money.
1812  Economy / Gambling / Re: GeoDice | The first out this world gambling site on: June 17, 2016, 12:33:55 AM
Promotion is the key of success for any gambling site and i think op should launch giveaway promotion to catch attention from players towards this brand new gambling but this design similar to another dice site of moneypot so will see how op will make plan to make it successful.
But promotion of what? This site is not even remotely competitive and good.
It is not even using SSL protocol! What makes you think people will play there when they already have good and reliable Dice sites available?
You can promote something which is not even finished product.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 17, 2016, 12:22:48 AM
German vs Poland  it is going interesting match and still no goal last 5 minutes  i hope german will find goal like england or france and they will win this match if they dont i will lost money

German is bad performance in this match
the same here, I also lost my bet ML on German.
finished with score is 0-0.

I also lost have taken over 2.5 goals. I think both teams will score goals, and Lewandowski scored at least one goal.
with this result, Group C is getting tight in the last match day. but my prediction Germany and Poland will qualify.

This thing is sure, from group C is coming out Poland and Germany. It seems that both teams save strength for next rounds.
Ukraine goes home and Ireland has no form. I do not expect surprising results in last group matches. It looks like we have safe bets.
Safe bets like that Ukraine vs North Irealand? Where Ireland won 2:0? Or safe as this Iceland vs. Portugal 1:1 draw.
There is no safe bets, upsets can happen. Ukraine can potentially win with Poland and Northern Ireland (known for their defense) can draw with Germans and situation can get complicated.

It will mean both Poland and North Ireland will have 4 points... Germans 5 points and Ukraine 3 points.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa america 2016 dicussion on: June 17, 2016, 12:13:36 AM
USA vs Ecuador prediction: Ecuador to win.

While both teams showed that they know how to win games and I think they are fairly equal here but Ecuador is currently ranked 13th in the world by FIFA.
USA is ranked 31st in the world. And we won't some core players of USA in this match: DeAndre Yedlin will miss the match for red card he received earlier.

1816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 15, 2016, 02:12:41 AM
games in Group F really unexpected, I think Australia and Portugal will win. moreover portugal, at least I think Ronaldo will score goals. but apparently not Sad

There is no Australia in Euro and Australia will not participate in Euro till the end of the world Smiley
People were  saying the same about Australia in Eurovision contest.

Anyway, Austria v Hungary and Portugal v Iceland matches created quite the uproar. For me, Portugal's draw was so far the most unexpected result in this tournament.
I guess even if you have the 2nd most expensive football player on earth - sometimes is not enough.

1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I should do , if gambling in my country illegal? on: June 15, 2016, 01:40:23 AM
if gambling is illegal in your country as illegal in all Islamic countries. then you should keep away from gambling other wise you should go to another country where gambling is legal. but you should not exercise illegal activities.
And you would move to another country if - for example: Bitcoin in your homeland was declared illegal and harmful for local economy? (there are places like that: Iceland, for instance)
And believe me, people there don't give a shit about this ban as it is almost impossible to impose legal actions on people for braking this 'law'.

I can tell that with gambling, or in this case with bitcoin powered gambling, we will see the same situation -  potential legal issues and no real way to stop people from gambling.
1818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Once again one Islamic Terrorists has took the lifes of Gays Peaples (50 DEAD) on: June 15, 2016, 01:13:22 AM
Radical Islam, here we go again. You know what? I feel like in the end the we will be victims of our own political correctness.
It is funny how Obama and Hilary said nothing about this how act of terror was linked to *religion of peace*.

Instead guns are to blame, again. Which is completely BS. Here is why.

Do you remember huge terrorists attack in Paris last year? Terrorists were using automatic rifles there.
And you know, last time I checked guns are almost completely banned in France.
It is almost impossible to legally acquire a high-powered rifle such as an AK-47! Yet Islamic terrorists had no problem with acquiring rifles and slaughtering people with it.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: June 15, 2016, 12:40:31 AM
as i have no personal experience being muslim. but i have heard that over all gambling is the easiest way of earning money. but a very high risk of even loosing our own money.
Just quick question, is being a Muslim doesn't prohibit you from even learning about gambling in general, about games and strategies and basically reading gambling sub forum?
You know that gambling is haraam, right?
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High bet amounts or low bet amounts? What is your style? on: June 14, 2016, 01:26:39 AM
I wonder if you just play for the fun with small amounts or if you roll big sums in hope to win a lot? What is your method?

I used to like playing with big amounts, but I kept losing instead of winning liked I planned to. I always told myself to go safe, go safe, never go all in, but it just never worked. Always went all in in the end and lost.

Now I prefer low bet amounts. They are much safer and much more enjoyable IMO.
Just quick question: how much have you lost when you played high rolls?

As I am more a causal gambler than serious hardcore high bettor; I only play almost exclusively with low bets.
It is great feeling when you manage to win 300% of your initial bankroll while you don't have to worry that you lost so much.
