1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 25, 2022, 05:54:16 PM
I would say if you hold a coin which has something better to offer in terms of technology then you don't have to worry about these temporary market fluctuations because eventually these coins will pump. When I say these coins I meant good coins not meme or shit coins hence i would advice you to hodl on with C98 as it has scope for growth unlike Dogecoin which need tweet or support from billionaire and influencers.
1802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under $39k, what's next? on: January 21, 2022, 07:57:32 PM
Bitcoin is now under $39k as the reliable support level of $40k has failed so what's next? Where will this lead us to?
Nobody knows but for some technical analysis that I've seen, going up is what's the possible next move of it.

I remember when bitcoin was trading around $48k to $50k then we had a sudden dip of over 20% wherein again bitcoin gained it's momentum within 1 or 3 days and back at $46k and then it gradually started dropping down to $40k and I feel same thing is happening now wherein there is a dump and bitcoin will gain momentum but again it will gradually drop else it might take a pump hard on its way to $50k. What's are you thoughts on this?
Is this when it has reached $28k last year and then eventually recovered back until we've reached close to $70k? We don't know if the same logical pattern is happening or we're just really going through the entering of the bear market.

Either of them, we have to hold and if you see this as a good buy, you do it while the price are lower these times.

I was referring to the dump which took place around first week of December for a day wherein bitcoin's price dropped from around $51k to $42k and recovered back above $50k within two days.

Yes we cannot be sure if the same logical pattern will repeat or there would be something different this time but we have to remember one thing that regardless of dump bitcoin will recover and go past its previous ATH like it did last year after a gap of 3 years but the problem her wish not everyone are long term Hodlers so most of us cannot survive for longer period if the 2018 bear run repeat though the possibilities are very low. Next few days would be crucial and mould the market.

1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 19, 2022, 07:49:59 PM
There has been so many YouTube influencers and other folks predicting to buy certain altcoins for huge profit and once the Bitcoin dropped down thus send a shockwave across altcoins we don't see people or influencer coming up with their favorite list of altcoins with the kind of confidence which they showed when market was green.
If those influencers are shilling their altcoins when the price will be going down and their followers will become victim from the whales. Those influencers will be blamed by bunch of people. that's why they are staying away from doing something like shilling to their followers. They didn't wanna be targeted by their followers.
This is the right time to pick invest into altcoins which didn't got expected pump during the bullrun yet posses the potential, I want you guys to share your opinion on altcoins which we should invest.
You can take a look at metaverse tokens. These metaverse tokens are dumping so hard. It may become a good thing once these metaverse tokens will be going back again.
Though I am not a big fan of XRP but I would prefer XRP and ADA to invest now at dip. 70% investment would be into ADA and 30% into XRP.
that sounds pretty good. TBH i prefer to replace XRP with another major coin coz ripple is still in legal battle with SEC. You may need to think for twice.

Agreed with every single point which you have mentioned, I feel sad for those paid subscribers as there are lot of influencers who has a premium channel where they have earned good amount of money using the bullrun as they would suggest like 20 coins and even if 2 coins bit the target then they will use those two coins to attract more users to buy in their subscriptions.

Yes metaverse tokens will have one more run where we can make good amount of profit if we buy them at dips I mean right now when it's dumped so hard.

About Ripple I have not been a supporter but if it wins the case then there are chances that it will rally and it has not been affected much during the dump compared to other coins. Yes we have better alternative for this.

1808  Economy / Speculation / BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 12, 2022, 09:05:13 PM
BTC has crossed the mark of $43k after a while and will it pump further towards $50k and is this the buy in period or else it will once again dump and stay around $40k for some more time? IMO there are more possibilities of bitcoin recovering from recent correction and March towards $50k which will send green signal for entire crypto market and we have even noticed it's positive effect today on top altcoins, what's your take on this?

1810  Economy / Speculation / What about 2022? on: December 28, 2021, 08:35:25 PM
We had been speculating so many things for the end of December as some said bitcoin will skyrocket and few said December had not been a positive month in the past. But to my surprise we have neither seen any major pump or dump in a while and we are almost at the end of December. What's your take on 2022? Will it be as profitable as 2021 or else we will witness correction phase?
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / FUDS started against Bitcoin as asusual on: December 10, 2021, 10:13:23 PM
I have seen few post in the forum again which is portraying Bitcoin price in negative lights again and some are predicting Bitcoin will go below $40k, it's creating panic and sense of fear amongst the inexperienced users which may lead to panic selling. I would urge all to make as much educational post on Bitcoin as possible to keep the newbies and other users away from fuds and also to make them understand that Bitcoin is a technology and not a gambling where they can double their money anytime. It's decentralised and fluctuations will always be there and we need to adopt to it instead of cashing out by losing out on capital investment.

1813  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin is recovering on: November 25, 2021, 07:59:13 PM
Bitcoin has made good progress today compared to last three days today Bitcoin almost touched $60k ($59,390) as a result we have seen decent progress in other altcoins as well. Either this is a breakout point wherein bitcoin will proceed towards new ATH or a bull trap but I don't think it would be a bull trap as market just went through correction phase. What's your opinion on bitcoin at the moment?
1814  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 17, 2021, 09:14:06 PM
There will be a bear market but not yet, I don’t think. This bull market still has room to run imo, we will peak in mid to late December. I don’t know about 100k per coin but I still think this cycle has more ath’s to come before we fall off a cliff in 2022.

Certainly, there is still room for bull market unless a new milestone is achieved and there are lot of altcoins as well who are yet to reach new ATH since 2017, I think there are chances of those coins pumping ho once bitcoin hits new milestone and gets stable or starts to drop. We had a pretty good year so far and we should be prepared for both the possibilities of bull and bear run.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: correction or start of a bear market? on: November 17, 2021, 08:10:06 PM
I also think that this is a correction. the push from the bear market is faster than the current decline. after all, the hallmark of a correction is that it occurs after a fairly rapid rise of bitcoin. however, I believe that the price will recover. right now the low I see on CMC is $58,515, and at the moment I believe the price will slowly recover to $62k or $63k.

I am aligned with your comment as even I think the market will recover and if bitcoin crosses $62K and stays about it during this weekend then we can expect further improvement in the price and as far as the bearish market is concerned I believe we may see it next year but it's wouldn't be worst and longer like the previous bear run since the market has evolved and it would be difficult to manipulate a huge margin this time.
1816  Economy / Speculation / will we witness year end bullrun or bull trap? on: November 17, 2021, 06:59:41 PM
It's been a while since we have seen any huge price manipulation and bitcoin is fluctuating between 5-10% from few days/weeks and what do you think would be the outcomes? will it be marching towards new milestone of $80K or $100k which has been trending in most of the crypto influencer's channels? I think we have seen this before and bitcoin will surge and probably touch $100k and then whales will start dumping like they did in 2018 in order to buyback at lesser value.

Will we be tricked in to buy at peak or else people have learnt lesson from 2018 dump and act wisely this time?

1819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid scammers (Must read for newbie) on: October 19, 2021, 11:22:16 AM
Thanks for sharing these tips. So far I haven't faced scame related with Chinese regulations. But in general, most of scamming methods are old and don't change much throughout years. Some are very primitive, while others is more complex.
Telegram investment is another type of HYIP. Previously HYIP websites were quite big thing, but it required scammers to put some investment to create website. While scamming through Telegram is free.
Impersonating is probably most effective scamming nowadays. There is so many fake Twitter or Youtube profiles looking like real. You have to pay attention to small details to spot fake profile. Unfortunately, many people don't notice these things and fall into scam.

Yes impersonating us doing wonders for scammers because most of users are in so much hurry to get rich quick they don't bother to validate when they receive a message or response to their post from an imposter and moreover I have seen many youtubers literally begging people not to pay anything to them as they will never request for money still users end up scammed. I think we should create more awareness of such techniques used by scammers because now crypto has become mainstream and so the scammers are trying all the possible way to squeeze as much as they can due to lack of validation from users.
1820  Other / Beginners & Help / How to avoid scammers (Must read for newbie) on: October 18, 2021, 04:23:12 PM
This is to create awareness amongst new members to avoid getting scammed.

I am going to list down a few of the tactics used by scammers to scam newbie as well as other users by luring them with huge profit scheme or some sort of plan which is difficult to refuse at times.

Tactics #1: Chinese regulation trick
You will receive a message from a random person stating he is from China and he has close to 1 BTC into his wallet but is unable to withdraw it due to some restrictions in their country and share a fake exchange link asking you to register there and he will transfer the amount to you and then you can transfer it to his another wallet wherein he will pay 20% of the amount as a gesture, sounds good isn't it? Once you log in to the exchange he will transfe3r the amount (just a digital value on fake site) but when you try to withdraw it the site will says it's a new account and you need to deposit some BTC in order to verify which will make you eligible for withdrawal and once you transfer the required BTC it will ask you to deposit more stating this account is froze and it will keep asking you to deposit the amount until you give up and reach out to their customer support agent who will say there is suspicious activity with this account hence you have to deposit but if you question them stating you wanna withdraw the amount which you have deposited they will threaten you stating you are involved in money laundering and block you from chatting, the random guy who messaged you will also block you.

This is a planned method to rob our money which we deposit in part to withdraw a huge amount.

Tactics #2: Investment plans through telegram
This method is not new and most of you would have experienced it wherein you will be added to some random telegram groups and where you will find people from different nationalities praising and thanking the admin stating they have earned a lot and it has changed there life, wherein they will ask you to buy a plan and state you will 200% of return on your investment withiin 3 days or a week.

Most of us might get convinced since people from around the world are endorsing it but these are all fake profiles and bots which has been created using profile pictures and DPs stoles from social media to make it look like genuine.

Tactics #3: Impersonating a crypto influencer of Youtube(Especially crypto analysts)
A genuine crypto analyst (youtuber) will never ask you to pay them and even if they ask they will share the details over video itself but there are imposters who have scammed so many people. When you watch a youtube video of crypto analyst and make a comment or ask for their contact details you will get response from imposter with same profile picture and ask your to transfer minimum amount to trade on behalf of you and assure you weekly or daily payout. these are scammers who barge into comments section of youtubers and whenever they find a comment from any user asking for youtuber's contact details or appreciate these guys trap the users by replying to their comments share a contact links of themselves to scam them.

I have encountered these situations and lucky to stop myself at the right time, I hope this was helpful article not only for newbie but for other users as well and save atleast someone from getting scammed.
