1801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I hope it's finally over for CEXs on: November 16, 2022, 11:17:10 PM
Few decentralised trading exchanges like Posi and Serum are surging in price, it seems people are now moving their funds to start using decentralised exchanges, what's your take on this?
That's exactly what everyone would love to do but, who the Heck accepts Bitcoin as means of payment in a grocery stall? Based on its volatility?
If they dare, and the market structure gets muddled -- falling against the cost price(I'm not even considering the profits) how'll they cope?

Have centralised exchanges finally ruined their own reputation and people are tried of their games? I doubt this happened in the past when mt.gox faced the same fate, I really hope that's what happening presently.

I hope it's finally over for centralised exchanges
You doubt that it happened in the past.... exactly what you should do.
People have got tired of FIAT along time ago... Buh crypto ain't made a legal tender yet so apparently, nothing much can be done about its renaissance.
No. It's not over just yet

Yessss... I love the context, only that some parts are tactically scripted.
As a beginner in anything you'd Wanna try out in life --business, whatever.... It's imperative that you know the intricacies ( I say this almost every single time I talk in here ), you must have the foreknowledge to gain utmost prevalence, and amongst all -- you must understand how it works.
Someone sent me an email and invited me to invest in a site. She said it's currently paying and it's all about TRADING. I never doubted that fact but, I asked a question and she wasn't able to answer me, it was: what y'all trading? she began to mix up points and I blocked those mails ASAP. Though I wasn't willing to invest but I just had to know what I'll be going into (maybe if I had an interest)....if that's in a case of an invitation to a scammy site, how much more in crypto? is what I thought 💭

1803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are there lots of accounts that seem abandoned? on: November 16, 2022, 10:41:32 PM
We've got alot of dormant accounts; not because the forum suddenly became unbearable for anyone but you seeeee....we all have our private lives and plans to put into materialization so for this reason, alot have decided to refrain from the forum. Some haven't even had the chance to decide whether or not to stay; as dead quietly bully 'em into endless slumber.
I don't think peeps in here get any direct informations from anyone that goes inactive for a while; apart from some that knows virtually, an important personality in here, that's been trusted over time. If informations are given from sources like that, about a user inactivity, then we'll get to believe 'em.

I just thought that I've seen this a couple of times ; especially, as yours doesn't correlate to the sort that an OP even had to include codes in their request to Theymos.... Then I'd be like WTF? Means Theymos doesn't code? But No!! That's wasn't it. He just wanted to make sure that his points are understood properly and that atleast -- he knows what he's doing.
Back to base: The GitHub link ain't working any longer?... dark mode is something everyone would prefer just to reduce some eye strain, yeah. You don't need a third party software huh? So if you'd say the word " convenience" , I'd accept but how bout safety? Does anyone need to log on in, just to switch modes? That'll be an unnecessary bug in the expense of an OPs time, right?
Edit: ion even think it works that way so, Maybe you should take out time to explore? That'll be great.

Yeah UCY... I'm rightly your support.
I don't see any essence in post deletion - most especially if it's a mega thread that conveyed an instruction/guide or rules pe-say. Alright...now I've learnt alot behind closed doors, without asking too much questions and that had been made possible with the help of Old threads; those autographs on black, fine prints from peeps i didn't even meet, that was left in here to keep telling their stories and rekindling the legacies after them; some of which had been plunge below the bowls of some bottomless abyss, beneath us all., Shouldn't be reprehended... THEY CAN'T TALK ANYMORE but those words would stand to attest for them and also, teach new toddlers what the forum ONCE was like.
I'm not saying that mods shouldn't do away with some unwarranted/ absurd post( that's their jurisdiction and I see 'em as being imperative) but even the slightest, constructive fact (gimmick or not) should be Allowed to stand the test of time. ONE DAY, NEWBIES WILL LIVE TO GAIN PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE FROM MY HISTORY.

1806  Other / Meta / Re: Query on "do not keep your money in online accounts" on: November 16, 2022, 10:41:32 AM
Who the heck keeps their money in online accounts, for a long period of time? That should be due to some misinformation --the way I see it .

Trust CZ, he ain’t SBF!

While CZ seems to be more trustworthy than SBF(obviously due to recent events concerning FTX/Alameda), I wouldn't blindly listen to him. Time and time again it's proven that we should put too much trust on a single person or entity, because we always know what happens in the end.
We should? Or we shouldn't? I guess that was a weird typo at the exact point that anyone would choose their verdicts about CZ; and then to SBF, wether or not they'll contend further, knowing that a "trust well built" remains concrete except otherwise?! Rhetorical.
If the fact is well proven that we ain't supposed to trust an entity like CZ's, that has stooped below the trails of unfaithfulness, without wavering, over a good number of years to count then, what are we supposed to trust? Those ass-quackin' deluders? Oh C'monnnn... Is there not a single thing to trust? ....well, I'm not saying things do not happen, it does... (Name 'em for yourself) anything could make 'em turn pegans, yeah.... Buh it's important to know if it were intentional or some chaotic dilemma pushed 'em into it.

I mean; even if i were a gambler, why should I hide 'em skills? Why should I pretend? People choose things over anything, - but yes, that's just their choice. If I decide to smoke hurricane- Colorado, no one can possibly stop me -FORCEFULLY - except for some decent piece of advice from CLOSE friends, that could help the situation. My point is, no one controls another person's act or emotions (as long as it's not above the legitimate law).

......Take chances professionally....
Don't capitalize on this common fact that "as a gambler, you must take risk" , always improvise so you could save something out for yourself, at the end of the day and no just STAKING..
What really poops into your mind when you were tuitored about this "take risk, to earn" ideology? How did it sound to you? .. I mean, how did you understand 'em? It all depends on that.
I'd advise anyone, -- since I don't believe there's a thing like "suregame", then any user shouldn't place much hopes on last bullet, dismantling a building or cutting down two tree branches simultaneously. Use the cash-out button, ASAP.

1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 11, 2022, 07:40:35 PM
I keep wondering what has happened to the original gameplay of this club, Juventus.
Allegri has made a resounding legacy, something he wouldn't dare to tarnish by his debut to the most relying team in the Italian series. Juventus haven't badly been coached by allegri, atleast not in my view; AFAIK, this is something he's tried and won the serial A trophy 5 good times and that wasn't just a test of potentials, it was the real, calculated logic by allegri that got 'em further. So I don't seem to understand a reason why those nay-sayers would acclaim Allegra as an "incompetent" coach, just for the fact that a team lost it fine form. If Juventus can make good use of the next transfer window, then they'll tend to closeup those loopholes.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not all gambling games are based on luck, some require skills on: November 11, 2022, 07:20:34 PM
Is there any gambling project that have a soccer game and horse racing game onboard? I believe that these two genre are not based on luck but skill that's why I ask this question, since most gambling projects have games that are based on luck like roulette and others.

Yeah, there are alot of sports casinos and it contains all this genres as you mentioned above.
Yeah, I don't think SPORTS are based on luck because you'll have to gather up different match statistics -- of the two teams in question, of a different team that each of this competitions have faced, of their head to head, of their positions on the table; with these, one who's deeply consistent in the round-leather game would bet upon a good experience. Except if they'd have to compare VIRTUALS CASINOS; then it'll need a bit of luck as the game's is logically programed. It can give a turn for some sudden winning but would change afterwards to magnanimous claims.

He particularly chose Black 15 for $10K on roulette which he could have won $350,000 but a friend took the $10K and replace a safer bet. I know this is likely not to happen in real life. But let's say it did. What would you do?
How safe was the latter bet? Did he win? How much did it amount to? Those are things that'll make me calm down my temper, otherwise I'll just act weird like the way Kevin did ....lol . Gaming in roulette ain't no easy-peasy so if I'd have that chance to win, then I shouldn't be denied of that... that's just a formulated series cus in real life, when the game is stacked, the funds are retracted right?? ....I won't even go with someone like that.

When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Dude C'monnnn, why should you gamble with your emotions? Do you feel exited when your heart keeps throbbing and you'll be panting like a wonded lion, just so your game would click the bait and spray you some fine coins? Emotions are strong and could sometimes control a person so I don't see why you should toil with 'em.

Quote
Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.
No....
What thrives every gambler is GREED, period. They've lost severally and, seeing others winning (if it's in a casino house) or having a knowledge that peeps win alot in that same game(online), they'll still sink in money to see if they'll recover, but even when it shows 'em some love, given them back what they spent, they'll need some more huge funds for the late nighty dinner party.....lol heyyo folks, that's someone's investment, they'll kill that shit for safety.

....and when I look at England's current lineup, -how formidable and well structured it looks -- it makes me feel they're undefeatable.
They've done alot just to keep that robust early lineup stat and that looks counts in affirmation for a big amidst the game.
They have lost a strong defensive force just for the mere fact that Ben Chilwell won't be in there to fly that smooth, round leather in his favorite flanks , even as a defender? Yeah, he performs alot of wonders. I remember when he scored the only goal in a match against Brentford. France usually has it at the end, consecutively.....but let's see how this goes this time around.

This should go well if I were a gambler but, unfortunately I'm not one.
I would hide my gambling habits from my parents, siblings and probably children (when I have one). I won't Dare to hide from my dude; that guy's an ass. He gambles 247 and though, he wins many more times, I'm trying hard to dilute the mindset of winning big in him, with these common logic,: that gamblers ain't wealthy people, that I haven't seen any rich gambler (I mean getting rich with the money won from staking bets) etc .. but I'll shock you to your marrows that there's no live match that takes me unawares and I could even book you games if you want 'em. I have had an experience once, when I worked as a cashier.

Have be thinking about the importance of cryptocurrency, especially BTC in our society today and the nearest future. And how is going to improve the Society especially our environment and economic.

I don't believe that you aren't fluent in speaking or writing; I think you didn't take your time to avoid typos like this, -- a type that almost got me wondering why I decided to read your post in the first place. Check on that.

No. You haven't known this whole cryptographic stuff outrightly. If you do, you shouldn't be asking how important it has been and how it's gonna improve...............makes me feel you haven't aligned with 'em current rehab which has made you looked Bitcoin disdainfully, that's naive.
AFAIK, cryptocurrency has tamed Fiat of its prevalence and has made peeps free from the shackles of banking slavery.
It will help alot in future (as it has been doing for more than a decade now) people are open to a system where I can trust anyone with safe-trade trnx, all reflecting on the Blockchain (how sweet can that be compared to banking and its Incessant, personal recognition with passport photographs and IDs yet, feel unsatisfied and control your funds however they feel like). It's not gonna replace Fiat totally but, it'll do some more good in the future.

I've read a lot of posts and comments on this forum in the past few days but I saw few posts or replies saying "this have been talked about many times before " ,as a fresh forum user like me how will I know if something like that have been discussed before?
Reading.
Keep making minor research for yourself and learn from already asked questions; don't come out to ask yours except it's an explicitly-detailed repetition, with a different point of consideration, - such that Haven't been discussed or shared before.
If you'd sacrifice time to read, you'd realize that we have search engines and you should prolly Know how that works right?!
Quote
Also is it wrong for someone else to discuss what a person have talked about before?

Yes, it is wrong. We have a term for that; it's called plagiarism. Simply copying, spinning, inter-changing words in a fact that's not your ORIGINAL idea( where ever you got 'em doesn't matter to anyone). If you must copy and paste, then don't fail to add a source link. Peeps have paid with their accounts for their ignorance in their newbie days, Beware!

You speak like you've known alot about the synchronicity proceed, but I don't think you've understood properly how this whole thing works.
Bitcoin isn't replacing Fiat -- atleast, not yet and if it does, it might not fit into the system operatee -- it was made as a store of value. Its volatility and uncertainty is for real and that'll make it unbearable if it were given an opportunity to serve as a medium of exchange; deformated economy, fluctuating price rate for every commodity, etc..... That'll be enough reason. Advise people to indulge themselves into 'em because their privacy is guaranteed, bulk transaction confirmations ain't monitored synically , funds ain't retracted for some network issues, except the memphool is choked; trnx could still be processed in given time.
I'm not disputing that BTC doesn't become an exchange one day, but that ofcourse would need alot of modifications which, is seemingly impossible.
