1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TwoPlusOdds - Free sport bets on: September 18, 2019, 12:32:02 PM
I am yet to see a profitable sports bettor on the long run so I'll be watching your thread carefully. Are you betting only on football and tennis? Also you might want to specify which sports betting site you use. The odds are slightly different between them as you may know.
1802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest my $1300 USD? on: September 18, 2019, 08:05:14 AM
Hi guys, where do you think should i put my remaining $1300USD? Any suggestion please? and why?

I'm not a financial advisor, but if I were you I'd invest them into myself. Acquire some skill in an industry/thing that you love to do. $1300 is not an amount that will bring you much money if you put it to work in comparison to a salary for example or you can just keep them in Bitcoins if you believe in the technology. Wink
1803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: September 18, 2019, 08:02:24 AM
Trading stocks is quite a different game than trading crypto. There you have earning reports, events, company acquisitions, mergers, etc. However technical analysis still applies very much to the equity markets. Just that you need to take into consideration the aspects of that environment like the ones I've mentioned Wink
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: September 17, 2019, 07:36:41 PM
I think the best way to increase Bitcoin usage would be to incentivise businesses and merchants to start accepting it as payment. That would really create a domino effect IMHO, but this activity needs to be organised efficiently starting locally in every country then expanding.

The goal is to offer the people the way to satisfy their day-to-day needs by using BTC/crypto.
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sad News: Kidnappers now requesting bitcoin as ransom in Nigeria on: September 17, 2019, 07:14:53 PM
You can't name that bad news for bitcoin. Until now they've all requested cash as ransom. If bitcoin and cash weren't existent they would ask for gold or whatever the "MAIN" (key point) currency is. Of course that Bitcoin is not or hardly traceable so it is more convenient for bad guys to use it.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 17, 2019, 05:01:18 PM
An antivirus is a must have. My AV has blocked my access to several phishing and possible malware-infected websites before that could *potentially* been dangerous. Also the fact that I can scan my comp for possible adware or any kind of viruses is comforting Smiley

Congratulations, guys for reaching the 35 billion bets milestone! Your casino is one of the OGs in the crypto gambling industry and hopefully you will continue to improve the user experience by adding more and more perks and functionalities, new games, etc. Maybe my statement could be viewed as a paid review but I assure you it is not. It's just my honest view on Bitsler  Wink
1808  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Blockchain and crypto books for crypto on: September 17, 2019, 09:35:03 AM
Regarding the phyisical vs online books matter. The experience you get from reading a physical book is much more superior than reading from a blank screen and "peeling" your eyes. lol I'd rather pay a few bucks for a hardcover/paperback book than reading an ebook. That's just my personal opinion though.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 16, 2019, 08:01:44 PM
Usually, the "fun" consists of the adrenaline rush the players get when risking high amounts of money and the possibility of winning much more than that. Smiley That is what the majority of addicted gamblers say. When a gambler really just plays for fun he enjoys the social ambiance, the free drinks, etc.

That's not much of an incentive isn't it? I mean you're giving $20 of a not even launched coin yet. I don't even want to talk about listing on an exchange. I think it would be fairer to say that you're offering an X amount of LOY coin. But after all is your marketing strategy  Cheesy I've googled your coin and there is literally nothing about it.

1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBU - The Security Token Protocol and Licensed Security Token Exchange on: May 23, 2019, 08:14:21 PM
The MOBU team does make regular announcements on their telegram channel. The CEO announced that they are going to have a private placement sale on the Entoro express platform for a private investment raise round and then they will organise an IEO. Also they've published new videos and MVPs. You can't say they are not keeping us in touch with the progress. Really excited to see the platform finally launching  Smiley
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: May 20, 2019, 07:57:28 PM
IMHO calling Stratis a scam is ludicrous. Have you guys seen their state-of-the-art products? Have you seen the constant stream of github commits on the discord channel and actually on the Github platform?
There is no doubt that they are working hard in the backstage. Projects like Mediconnect, Gluon and Wildara starting to use their products.. What about the Microsoft SILVER partnership?!

Stay away from FUD guys and look at things from an objective perspective! Cheers!
1814  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Just Started to Accept Bitcoin in my Espresso Bar on: May 20, 2019, 11:52:46 AM
Is your coffee shop still running? Are making sales in bitcoin? I'm very curious about it. I wish there would be initiatives like this on my country that encourage people to adopt cryptocurrencies.
1815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: May 19, 2019, 10:59:37 AM
Ok neither of these are easy but as a long term strategy to do think its best to day trade and try and get 1-2% a day or invest in a couple of coins and try and get 20% over a month

There is no correct answer to this. It depends on your skills and knowledge about the markets. If you have mastered technical analysis and have proper risk management I'd go for day-trading. But there are more factors to take into consideration like how much time you have to allocate to trading each day. If you have another job and other activities it would be pretty hard to be an active day-trader.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help learning about bitcoin? on: May 19, 2019, 10:23:47 AM
I think that Mastering Bitocin by Andreas Antonopoulos is a great way to understand the underlying technology of Bitcoin and gain in-depth knowledge about its applications. I also recommend taking the MOOC on cryptocurrencies offered by the University of Nicosia. I have graduated it successfully and I feel I have a much better understand of the crypto world.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] 🔥🔥🔥 Geco.one - Cryptocurrency PAMM Trading Platform🔥🔥🔥 on: May 19, 2019, 08:21:39 AM
As I mentioned before I am very excited about this future and I think it's going to attract a lot of attention of both traders and invetors. I have a question about PAMM accounts though: Do traders need to be licensed in order to create a PAMM account and manage other people money on your platform?
1818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 18, 2019, 09:27:04 AM
I would advise newbies to enter crypto markets with any spare money they have. Don't keep cash as it is inflationary and controlled by different central entities. Be smart about your wealth and have a diversified portfolio but   always study your investments. I am a true believer in bitcoin and its future so at below $20k it is always a good idea for me to convert fiat to crypto. Wink
1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: May 18, 2019, 08:53:04 AM
Too bad the age of ICOs is dead. Stratis might have had a fighting chance.

I don't understand your affirmation. Fighting chance for what? Stratis ICO platform can also be used for STOs and they are developing it in a continuous manner. Stratis is a very competitive player in the crypto industry with a powerful suite of products and hard core developers and management team. Price is definitely not a tracker for its performance.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBU - The Security Token Protocol and Licensed Security Token Exchange on: May 17, 2019, 09:23:59 AM
Always happy to support MOBU! I believe that organising an IEO is also a very good idea as you will be joining a raving trend that is being hyped in the crypto communities nowadays. Hopefully you can find a trustworthy exchange that suits your needs. Of course that Binance or Bittrex would be best, but taking into account that MOBU is a security token I think you're going to opt for a specialized exchange like GSX. Anyway I'm really excited to see this project rolled out  Wink
